Went to another jeweler that said I could not downsize as much as needed because would affect integrity of diamonds on band. In addition, reported no loose diamonds requiring prong work. So, to be certain about what I was being told since such a conflict I went a 3rd place that said the same... can't downsize without affecting diamond integrity on band. (I needed downsized 1.5 for reference and 3 rows of diamonds on band). And also no loose diamonds requiring prong work. As much as I prefer to support local I will not support this jeweler ever as my trust is destroyed and do not recommend unless you want to be ripped off. Especially in regards to jewelry repair.

He had all of it done in like an hour and I was amazed at how well and beautiful he made those old rings look and my engagement ring is very intricate, thin, had an engraving, and rose gold which made it difficult but it doesn't look like he even touched it and it fits perfectly now and I can finally wear my engagement ring!!!thank you! I'm so very happy!

To pick up my Invicta watch. That had to dropped off last night. Because, they had to take more links out for it to fit me. It ended up breaking on them. Unfortunately, it's a cheap watch band.. So, when I went back in there. Kevin hooked me up with a new watch band. While I waited for links to be taken out of that one. It's a BETTER band than what I had before. Plus, it's easier to get on and off. I told him I love this place. Because, it's small and personal.. I also like it because it's not like those big jewelry stores. I especially like that Kevin went the extra mile.. So, I could get my watch today. Even though there were problems with the old watch band. So, I ended up coming back this morning to pick it up. And everything worked out in the end. He also didn't charge me... Which was a very SWEET surprise.. I so recommend this jewelry store. EVERYONE is so nice.. And they ALWAYS take GREAT care of their customers.. The Gold and Diamond Center TOTALLY RULES... Thank U so much..

When I first moved to the area, my boyfriend wanted to buy me a special piece of jewelry. We stopped into Laura's because it was close by and open on a Sunday, and I'm so glad we did. The woman helping us (I wish I could remember her name!) immediately picked up on my style based on the jewelry I was already wearing and what I told her I liked. She brought out so many beautiful options that fit my taste perfectly. I fell in love with one ring, but unfortunately it was much too small for the finger I wanted to wear it on. She assured me their jeweler was the best around and could resize it quickly. Sure enough, just two days later it was ready--and absolutely perfect. I wear that ring every single day and still love it as much as the day I got it. Since then, Laura's has become my go-to for everything jewelry. My boyfriend accidentally broke his white gold rope chain, and they repaired it so flawlessly that you would never know it had ever been damaged. Most recently, a couple of the tiny accent diamonds fell out of rings that I wear 24/7. Sam, the owner, was incredibly kind and accommodating. I had a vacation coming up, and he made sure my repairs were prioritized. Not only did everything come back looking absolutely perfect, but the repairs were finished three days earlier than promised. It's rare to find a business that consistently delivers outstanding craftsmanship, honest service, and genuinely cares about its customers. Every experience I've had at Laura's has exceeded my expectations. At this point, I'm a customer for life. Any future jewelry purchases or repairs will be going to Laura's Five Star Jewelry. I trust them completely with my most treasured pieces, and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
