It wasn't a big job, but I was impressed! My father passed away several years ago, and I found an old watch in a box of his "stuff". It wasn't working so I stopped by this store on my afternoon bike ride to see if it was "fixable". I didn't meet "Juan" but the young lady who helped me was friendly, courteous, and helpful. To make a long story short, they replaced the battery and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes with a now-functioning watch, and the cost was $12 and change. I had 3 rings resized and within 3 hours of getting them back 2 diamonds had fallen out. After a couple of weeks, they replaced the diamonds and within 4 days, 1 diamond fell out. Juan would not replace even though Lorine had told me she would. He said it wasn't their fault, that this was a manufacturer's defect on my ring. I've had this ring for 18 years and I never had a problem until they touched it! He offered to replace the diamond at cost which I refused. I am 48, have traveled around the world and frequented many Jewelers. I happen to have a ring that was custom made by a Native American artist and it lost one of its stones. This ring has great sentimental value to me. I was surprised how challenging it was to find anyone that would even consider looking at it to repair in the Tampa area. After one quick conversation with Jewlers Bench I headed down to see them.. I was impressed with how well they listened to my concerns, their professional knowledge, how well they communicate, and their meticulous attention to details. While we chatted they cleaned my wedding ring at no charge.. I have had it cleaned many times past but they cleaned it better than I have ever seen (still spalling weeks later).. I left my Native American ring with them. They were quickly able to find a perfect matching natural stone to replace the lost one (very hard to find), they shaped and replaced the stone, improved the remaining stones and cleaned the ring at a very reasonable price.
