Went to another jeweler that said I could not downsize as much as needed because would affect integrity of diamonds on band. In addition, reported no loose diamonds requiring prong work. So, to be certain about what I was being told since such a conflict I went a 3rd place that said the same... can't downsize without affecting diamond integrity on band. (I needed downsized 1.5 for reference and 3 rows of diamonds on band). And also no loose diamonds requiring prong work. As much as I prefer to support local I will not support this jeweler ever as my trust is destroyed and do not recommend unless you want to be ripped off. Especially in regards to jewelry repair.
