Darrell truly brought my vision to life. I wanted to incorporate my mom's diamond into an engagement ring for my now fiancée, and I had a very specific vision for how I wanted it to look. From multiple in-person meetings to countless text messages, Darrell was incredibly patient, attentive, and committed to getting every detail just right. Together we refined the 3D model until it was perfect, and the finished ring exceeded anything I could have imagined. The craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail are absolutely exceptional. More importantly, Darrell made what could have been a stressful process feel exciting and personal. He genuinely cared about creating something meaningful, and it shows in the final product. I can't recommend Darrell and the entire team enough. If you're looking for someone who will listen, care about your vision, and create a truly one-of-a-kind piece, this is the place. Thank you for helping create such a special ring and a memory that my fiancée and I will cherish forever. read more

Went in to look for wedding bands as well as trade in some gold. My family has been going to them for just about 18 years now... loved the service. Now it is my time to be a loyal customer too. We got the store manager Pat as that's who my family loves dealing with and as always, he went above and beyond. He looked at my engagement ring and knew right away what style I'd like and would look well with it. My fiancé also found a great ring too for a decent price. Thanks to Pat and team, we now have our wedding bands & are so thankful to the team for their help. Thank you G&D! read more

have been dealing with Gold and Diamond source for years....buying and selling gold and diamonds. They always give me top dollar when trading something in. Just picked up a ring that I had sized. The stone is a Blue Zircon, my birthstone. The stone has looked cloudy to me the last few years no matter how much I cleaned it. When I picked up the ring today the gold was shining brilliantly and they got the Blue Zircon looking like the day I picked it out. I can't say enough about the quality of their pieces or the friendly helpful nature of their staff. Their own line, JULEVE, has the most beautiful different styles of jewelry I have ever seen. 100% recommend them as your family jeweler. You won't be disappointed.... read more

My wedding ring needed sizing and repair so I went where we had the ring custom made at the Gold & Diamond Source on Ulmerton in Clearwater. The salespeople were amazingly kind and knowledgeable including Oksana and Vukasin. But the real star of the show was a great jewelry maker behind the scenes by the name of Kyle. He designed a custom repair that had to be tweaked a couple times. Kyle worked with us until he got it perfect. He is a gifted jeweler. Thank you, Doris Rybicki read more

I could not be more pleased with my first visit to Gold & Diamond Source. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, I had been in touch with Pat about buying and selling a Rolex. He was professional, helpful and most of all...totally transparent in regard to prices, cost. Unlike some other local dealers I have had the misfortune of working with. Gold and Diamond will be my new go to place for jewelry , watches, etc.....I highly recommend this family owned business. read more

My wife and I were in recently to have her ring and tennis bracelet cleaned, and inspected. Kathleen Law as usual, was so accommodating. The owner of this establishment got totally butt hurt by my review of the superficial edge his store has. He totally ignored the fact that we had a great experience with the staff members we encountered. We weren't railroaded or pressured in any way. We were happy in all ways. I also found the atmosphere in there superficial. Well, when they totally cancelled my account unilaterally, telling me that I'm no longer welcome to step foot in there. They also told me he preferred I return the ring (with which my wife is totally pleased) and give me a full refund. Well as I stated earlier, I'd not step foot in here again anyway. My exact words..."Would I return again? Double hell no!" I still say the same. For one thing, as I also stated, I have little regard for jewelry and baubles as it is. Then "someone" had the nerve to sift through all 260+ of my Yelp reviews, call ME rude and mean spirited before attacking ME. That also goes to prove my point of the superficiality surrounding this business, aka the Grand Central Terminal of jewelry stores. If "management" sees fit to kick me out of the store and refuse to allow me back, that's "their" business, even saying "they" would keep me in "their" prayers!? I don't need them, nor anything from "their" condescending commentary and superficial slander. I still spent my money there to ensure my wife's pleasure. I still found the sales experience seamless and pleasurable. I still found the whole experience favorable. If this Diamond Merchant can't take constructive criticism, this "family business" doesn't deserve the favor of my business in the first place. So for which of these sins are "they" first to cast a stone? 3 and a half stars down to 2... read more

Amazing customer service, stunning jewelry, and extremely knowledgeable staff! We visited the Gold and Diamond Source on a busy Saturday and we were immediately greeted at the front door and paired with Mr. Adam Johnson to assist with all that we were looking for. As a first time buyer of natural diamonds, he made us feel welcome and comfortable to ask many questions. As we asked questions he brought out examples and suggestions that helped us be confident with our final choice. I highly recommend working with Adam and the Gold and Diamond Source team. They will be my first stop anytime I'm looking to buy again in the future. read more

Darrell Cox at Gold & Diamond is the best of the best. He is always professional & a pleasure to work with. He treats you like you are spending a million dollars even when you are not. I had a wonderful experience with Mais Tarrab at the Gold & Diamond Source. She was very professional, polite, and a pleasure to work with. She listened to my wishes, and her knowledge of gems and stones was impressive. She offered me plenty of options and worked in a timely fashion, which made the process enjoyable. The atmosphere at the store is welcoming and high-end; I also met the owner, Steve Weintraub, and Julie Weintraub, and they made me feel right at home. They, along with Mais and Pat, create a five-star experience that makes you want to come back again and again. I absolutely love my new jewelry, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to assist me in selecting it. Thank you so much, Lynn R. DeWeil read more

My experience was amazing I spent three hours with Debbie who took the time and patience with me until we came up with perfect pieces?

I was very disappointed with my experience there. Went to get a ring appraised and what happened was we got a offer of $650 for a $13,000 dollar ring. Either the woman did not know what she was doing or she was trying to rip us off big time. I did go and get the ring appraised and it was as I said $13000. So think twice before going there. The diamond was 1.35 carrots with 20 smaller diamonds for a .42 carrot for a total wt. of 1.77. read more

I was in the market for a special Christmas surprise for my girlfriend so I did my research and decided my best option to purchase the piece I was looking for was at The Gold & Diamond Source. This would be the 3rd piece of jewelry I would be buying from them. Julie and her staff are the best! They are so friendly and helpful as well as being considerate of what you're looking to buy and spend. Patrick was my salesperson for my last purchase, he has been in the jewelry business for many years much of the time working at The Golden Diamond Source. As I've mentioned previously Patrick is extremely knowledgeable, patient and so helpful with his advice. Patrick spent considerable time with me looking for the ideal item I was looking to purchase, Julie would stop by and model the piece for me so that I could see what it would look like worn. They were so helpful. I finally found what I was looking for and it was stunning! I felt I had a really great offer on the price of the piece and that was confirmed by the independent appraiser who I brought the piece to after I purchased it. He mentioned to me what a great deal I received. Patrick knew I was going to get the item appraised and recommend I bring the piece back to be steam cleaned since he knew the appraiser would be handling it. Patrick, Julie and the rest of the staff I interacted with were so very thoughtful. I have learned that Julie, Patrick and the rest of Julie's team are the best resource to buy jewelry in the Tampa Bay area! read more

Darrell is absolutely fantastic. If you need a dream ring designer, you wont find any better.

Above outstanding customer service. They have a big in-house inventory, but even bigger with the special order catalogs.

All-in-all a very positive experience. The only reason I am not giving them 5-stars is that they recommended I buy my jewelry insurance from Jewelers Mutual who they get a "kick back" commission from. But Forbes magazine rates BriteCo and Gemshield more highly. See article at this URL: https://www.forbes.com/advisor/homeowners-insurance/best-jewelry-insurance/ I saved $524 per year by buying identical (if not better) insurance from BriteCo rather than Jewelers Mutual. That is a huge savings that all of us can enjoy for ourselves. read more

BEWARE of Michael Kelly, Estate Manager and Watch Specialist at Gold & Diamond source! He is a complete scammer and will rip you off. I've made numerous purchases at this establishment and in the past been very happy, until today. I brought a ring in to sell and was given what Michael called "a very low figure" as he "wanted to be conversative". I couldn't believe what said to me! He offered $1,100.00 for my ring. I knew that was EXTREMELY low so I took the ring to another establishment- I was offered $2,000.00 for the ring! BEWARE OF Gold & Diamond source is you are selling your jewelry! read more

Went to get a setting for a 2ct diamond I already owned, mistake. Ola was rude, plain rude. After being annoyed and short with me she then decided to lie. I asked about a particular setting as my diamond is round and the setting was for an oval. She told me she would have to ask the jeweler if it could be modified, then asked me if I was going to but it right now. I said no, I need to show my significant other. Then she lied and said that she was a jeweler and that it could be done but it would cost $300 and then $200 to set the diamond... She did not even measure my stone. I have some awful opinions about what could have been going on, I can't prove them so I will keep them to myself. What I do know is that she lied and she treated me badly. I suspect because all in was only going to spend 5-7k. She let me take pictures of the tags too bad you can't look the rings up on the website with the numbers she "let me picture" cause she was too lazy to write them down. Business are responsible for the people they employ and Gold and Diamond Source has at least one liar. ETA: Notice how Gold and Diamond Source will not admit that their employee is not a jeweler. Don't worry they told me and they have it posted on their website :). I would rather eat my hat than go in that store again. read more
