DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I am very dissatisfied with the services provided. The company was hired to clean the home in preparation for listing it for sale, and I was asked to provide a "priority list," which ultimately did not appear to be followed. I paid for five hours of service; however, I was informed by a neighbor that the servicing member left after approximately two hours. Additionally, I received a message at the five-hour mark indicating that they had just completed the job and secured the property, which does not align with what was observed. I will preface this that I do not leave reviews often, and the few times I have were only for exceptional service. I have never experienced a service so terrible and fraudulent that would warrant a negative review, however, Going GreenHouse has earned one. My roommate and I hired GGH for a move-out cleaning service. We were quoted $250 for the size of our house and were told it may be $50-$75 more depending on how big and how dirty the house actually was. Our house is about 1000 sq ft, and there was no dirtiness outside of normal living wear and tear. We just wanted a professional service to clean all the nooks and crannies of things that we did not want to deal with and to avoid the rental company cleaning fee. We had already moved out so we had GGH come to clean the house during the day while we were at work and gave them the garage code to enter. We did not receive much communication during, however we did receive an additional $250 bill when the cleaning was complete. This brought our total to $500... an outrageous number for a 2 bedroom small home with no carpet or furniture. I immediately called Julia, the woman who answers the phone for GGH, and she explained to me that they charge by the hour. This was already a red flag as we were never told that, otherwise we would have made sure we were home for the cleaning because now there is no accountability for how long they were there or what they did with all that time. She also told me it took 2 people 4.5 hours to clean our home, therefore, our service was $500. I was shocked, but I am not one to argue with service workers and had not seen the house yet so I accepted it and thanked her for clarifying. I decided to check out the house and make sure we got our money worth for the cleaning. I wish I was exaggerating when I tell you the house was untouched. See the attached pictures for reference, and if you want a real laugh check out the checklist they left on our countertop of all the things they completed.... We called Julia back and the only thing we were obligatory offered was for them to come back and re-clean it. We declined because our lease ends tomorrow, not to mention the fact that they didn't even do the most basic cleaning like wipe the counters or vacuum so they had lost our trust. For $500, I should be able to perform open heart surgery on the kitchen counter with how sterile the house should be. I would also like to mention Julia told my roommate there were 3 cleaners and it took 3 hours which is why we were being charged the additional $250, so the stories are not aligning as she told me 2 people for 4.5 hours. Furthermore, she told me we were quoted $400-$500 for the service which is an outright lie but unfortunately our consultation was over the phone and our receipt for the $250 deposit does not disclose the quote so we have no proof. Pretty sly of them. We provided the pictures yet they still refused to give us a refund and only said they would reclean, which we kept explaining that was not an option as the keys to the house would be returned tomorrow morning. The most inconvenient part of this all was scrambling the last night of our lease to go buy cleaning supplies and spend 4 hours after a long shift at the hospital deep cleaning the floor boards, appliances, fans, blinds, etc. At this point, I wish we would have just eaten the cleaning fee with our rental company, it would have been far less than $500 and less stress. I believe this company thought since we were moved out that we would not go back to check their work and figured they could scam us out of additional money without proof. ago New I worked here for a year. It started amazing. Things slowly changed. I ended up quitting. The operation manager, Windi started talking down and mean to us, like we were beneath her. The owner April is always on vacation and let's Windi do what she wants. My checks started to be short, and Windi does the payroll, although they always gave me petty cash to make correct, 1 time is a clerical error, 4 times is theft. Windi does the payroll. Then labor laws are not followed here and when speaking to Windi about them, I was told, "they didn't apply in the same manner because of the nature of the business" proceed with caution and always check your pay stubs. read more

My roommate has previously posted a review regarding our (not so) service, however, I feel it is important for me to post one as well based on how this company has responded to our claims and concerns. Our interactions with this company have been nothing short of fraudulent, unprofessional, and concerning. My roommate and I, having worked in the service industry ourselves, are not ones to question pricing. HOWEVER, I am one to question the practices of a business that expects their clients to pay $500 for a service that was NEVER DONE. GGH replied to my roommate's previous review suggesting that the photos we originally posted were taken BEFORE the service was completed. I would like to mention that we have record of all the dates and times of these photos to prove they were taken AFTER the service was "supposedly" completed. This response from the company is not only FALSE, but simply defamatory. ALSO, if this doesn't prove that the service WAS NEVER completed (considering its own owner believes these photos were taken beforehand) then I don't know what does. In addition, the owner suggested that I misrepresented the state of our house which yet again is libel. I rated our house a 3 out of 5 for cleanliness meaning there were basic signs of living. My roommate and a friend were able to make the house sparkling in just 3 HOURS (something they had to do because GGH left the property untouched), so I'm not sure why GGH was unable to satisfy the service in 3.5 hours with 3 employees. Furthermore, the owner stated that they made multiple attempts to rectify the problem. The entire reason we scheduled a MOVE OUT cleaning on 7/30 was because we would no longer have access to the property on 7/31. The GGH representative I was in contact with (Julie) on 7/30 said she would have ONE person come out the following morning if I were to give her a list of everything that needs to be cleaned. First of all, this being considered a "solution" is completely unacceptable because as I told Julie multiple times, we would not have access to the property the following morning. The entire reason why we scheduled a MOVE OUT cleaning for that specific date was because it was the last date of our lease. If you are going to offer a move out service, it should be expected that the clients signing up for this service will no longer have access to said property afterwards. In the owner's response to my roommate, she mentioned that the employees completed the service to the best of their ability. Again, having worked in the service industry I completely understand people have off days, but to say this service was simply not satisfactory would be an understatement. For example, you can clearly see in Brianna's review that they checked off the section saying they "vacuumed all accessible floors", yet in the photos you can see no vacuuming was completed. I am absolutely appalled with not only the service or lack thereof, but also the expectation that a completely empty 1,000 sq ft house being left untouched is worth $500, as well as the responses and defamatory statements made by the company. I am updating this review because I heard from the owner, April. I explained to her that I did not want to pay more than the quoted regular bi-weekly cleaning charge since I did not get a deep clean. She said they do not offer discounts, but offered to clean my home again to my satisfaction. I declined since I have found someone new to clean my home. She also said she talked with her staff to make sure they hit all the items on the checklist and remain professional. She said people have off days and I agree. They are responsive when I have an issue or need to change something, and the people they send out are always friendly and professional. Going Greenhouse did a great job for over a year with no issues and we were extremely pleased. Over the last few months they changed out crews and the quality level slowly went downhill. 2 weeks ago the cleaning crew did a less than stellar job and failed to adequately clean the shower or kitchen sink. Gone greenhouse was notified and they offered to rectify the problems the following business day which they did. This past Friday on the next regular cleaning they sent a new crew who had never been to our house before and several things were missed including taking the kitchen trash out, the hard floors were not vacuumed very well (dust and kitty litter were visible to the eye) and they didn't mop the floors adequately. An issue one time is an accident, the second time with no supervision is a pattern of not caring. read more

I'm so sad to have to write this review because I desperately wanted to love GGH, and initially did! Bottom line: inconsistency and disappointment led to this 3-star rating. My home is a 2 bedroom condo and I clean weekly but I needed GGH for occasional turn-over cleaning. Maybe that was the problem. April the owner is a doll and I love what she's doing and how she's doing it. I greatly appreciated the initial walk-through and was excited after having met her. I scheduled a trial-run turnover cleaning so I could see if it met expectations. Again, I clean my house regularly so for this particular cleaning it was already in good shape. So when I returned home after the cleaning, I was disappointed because it wasn't even as good as I would have done! I had to touch up the kitchen, both bathroom tubs, and under (easy to move) furniture items. Furthermore, I was told a card would be left by the cleaner and none was. I notified April of my disappointment and she immediately was willing to send someone back out, but I had guests coming to town the next day and honestly it was easier for me to do it myself. But having shared this with her, I anticipated improved results in the future and I'm a sucker for giving people second (and third) chances. So a couple months later it was time for an actual turn-over cleaning. I was not able to personally witness the results but I had no complaints from the guest. A couple months later was turnover cleaning number 3. This time it was me and my husband returning home. Overall things were presentable (beds made, clean linens put out, etc), but the cleaner left her charger and a spray bottle and - similar to my first cleaning experience - there were obvious missed spots (dust, dirt) and the worst of all was the hall bathtub wasn't touched! I would have been very embarrassed if it were guests arriving to my place, instead of me. They would have had to deal with the left items and unclean areas to boot! That was my final straw. I don't have high expectations or standards. I am not a OCD cleaner and honestly I don't do the most remarkable job myself sometimes. I don't mind paying $150+ for a cleaning service (it's hard work!), but when I have to clean up after my cleaner... I'd rather pay myself. read more

I love coming home to my house after Going Greenhouse has been there. My floors look absolutely amazing- I don't know how they get them to look that good. And my husband asked, "How do they get the fridge that clean?" (it has a stainless steel front) The girls are always very respectful and courteous and I've found that their rates are incredibly competitive especially since they use all green products. They even take a minute to play and say hi to my 2 dogs who just love when the girls come by. I have been looking for an environmentally friendly cleaning crew for awhile. I have a toddler, 2 dogs and am pregnant and I personally only use green products. I just moved into a rental and it was pretty gross. I'm absolutely sure the previous tenants just packed up and left. Leaving us with grime covered walls baseboards and dust everywhere. There were two ladies and one gentleman. They were very polite. They cleaned very well and even were happy when I pointed out some trouble spots.
