The salads were great. Very fresh ingredients and the chicken was delicious. The garlic bread was good. I'd say better than most. Now the reason we came to a pizza joint the pizza. We got the works pie. The pizza was ok. I don't find it special but it's not bad. But to me the surprising thing was the salads especially with the chicken was the star. I'd go back but wouldn't go out of my way to.

I was in West Point for business last night, and decided to do some Christmas shopping. Upon asking…read moresome of the shop owners in town where to eat, they suggested Johnny's without hesitation. I decided to give them a try, now let me start by saying I've had "New York Style" pizza all over the country and 99% of the time it IS NOT New York style pizza.......at all. The pizza crust is still doughy, unimaginative and there's a good chance if you try to fold the pizza the cheese and toppings will fall off the crust onto to your feet. It's Nothing like New York Pizza, as a matter of fact Florida has the worst New York style pizza ever. New York pizza crust isn't thick, it's crunchy, (without being overcooked!!!!) the cheese and toppings adhere to the crust so they don't slide off into a gooey mess on your plate as soon as you fold the slice. Being the skeptic that I am, if I couldn't get a real slice of NY pizza anywhere in Florida, I was 99% sure I wasn't getting one in West Point Georgia. Needless to say I was 100% wrong!! This pizza was BY FAR the best slice of pizza I ever had outside of New York City. Nothing comes close PERIOD! Crispy crust (without being overcooked!!) perfect medley of cheese and pepperoni not falling apart or off the pizza slice, and a taste that brought me right back to Times Square eating the perfect slice, in the biggest city in the world. Impressed is an understatement. Kudos to Johnny's for delivering on the promise of having A real NEW YORK STYLE pizza. I also ordered a chef salad, which definitely delivered on its LARGE portion size, added grilled chicken, which was actually a grilled chicken breast not some bagged mince meat. Ranch dressing was spot on and the lettuce was fresh and crispy. As an appetizer i ordered the hummus with their own pita bread. Nicely fired in the oven, perfectly crispy and ready to enjoy with the tasty hummus, fresh cucumbers, olives and roasted pepper medley. Both the Appetizer and the salad were on point as well. I was very happy with my dinner, and you can be absolutely sure the next time I'm in town, I will visit Johnny's again! Thank you 5-stars all the way.!

First off they don't disclose that they use DoorDash for delivery. Second, we ordered a triple pepperoni magifico and clearly by the photo didn't receive that, the "breadsticks" look nothing like the website, and were dry as all get out. Poor communication on the website once you place your order. The "owner" supposedly posts across one facebook account talking about 30-40 minute deliveries. I see no bad reviews on Google, but just look on yelp. We used to love Marcos pizza, but the Lagrange location is absolutely terrible. We tried to call just to let them know our order was wrong as well and were put straight on hold, no thanks for calling Marcos please hold, nothing. I thought knowing they were under new management supposedly a few months ago that this location would be better. But guess we'll stick to Karvelas or Papa John's going forward. I arrived at 6:20pm and checked the app before I went inside. Surprisingly, it said it was ready. I went inside and waiting for at least 5 minutes for someone to help me. I told them my name and they said it wasn't ready. I went back out to my car and waited about 10 minutes. Now it's PACKED with people waiting for their orders. Another person asks my name and it's not ready. I said I want to cancel it. The first 2 employees (a young black lady and white lady)were very nice and definitely overwhelmed! A black man, wearing all black (there was another black gentleman wearing a maroon shirt like the ladies and a blue knit hat, poor guy was also overwhelmed) started getting very rude and said I'm sure the website said 45 minutes. I said actually it said 30 AND it shows my order is ready. He kept jacking his jaw and I told him to back it on up because THEY are the ones that don't have my order ready. He kept going and I said I'm cancelling the order. He said you can see we're busy. That has nothing to do with my order saying it's ready and it's not. It wasn't even being prepared! HE THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME!!! I wasn't the problem, HE IS!! I am not one to back down from someone being rude. I will NEVER return to Marco's pizza again. To be threatened like that and then he would be wasting police resources for something HE caused is outrageous. I promptly left when my refund was processed. As for the "ambiance", the "bar" area is a cluttered mess and it's not very welcoming at all. I have already submitted the incident to Marco's online customer service page as well. **The description of people is what it is. Without a name tag, how else do you describe the person??
