Small, cheesesticks w/marinara sauce
Shameka C.

Pizza kind of day. I sat in the car and ordered online. I wanted something with a little heat and the Hot Stuff fit the description. They offered a deal that included a side, I went with a small order of cheesesticks. The Hot Stuff (Individual) had pepperoni, seasoned beef, Italian sausage, jalapeños, diced onions, and Mozzarella cheese. I also went with a light drizzle of Ranch dressing and extra sauce. Yep, I wanted the extra. Plus I saw from a fellow Yelper's review preferring more sauce. The combined ingredients plus the Ranch made for a nice meal. Oh and the cheesesticks with the marinara sauce topped it off. I pulled around to the drive through earlier than my estimate time and had to wait but glad my wait was not in vain because my food was fresh out of the oven. Oh yes, Godfather's get my approval.

Reg. Med 5 topping.

This is the most expensive national chain medium pizza I have ever purchased. I love pizza I have purchased from New York to Chicago .I'm 60 plus years old. The place is clean, nice cashier. I wanted to use a 20.00 GROUPON on pizza and side. You can't do that as it is using two coupins... I guess I understand that. But a a medium pizza with unlimited topping can be found under 16.00 . Or two mediums with two or three toppings for 16.00. Very good looking pie. Great taste. 20.00.

I'd really like to give 3.5 stars. Godfather's Pizza met our expectations but wasn't the best pizza we'd have. Dining in might push this to 4 stars if the pizza is hot out of the oven, but we opted for carry-out to stay in on a Friday and experienced it somewhat cold. Crust was subpar and not flavorful but the toppings were of good quality. The sauce wasn't my favorite and I felt it had too much of a tangy taste to it. Cheese bread was average and the "Italian monkey bread" was just okay. It satisfied our craving for pizza but wasn't catapulted to the top of our list of favorites.

Half cheese for my son and sausage, onions and mushrooms for me.

Absolutely delicious and delivery was quick and prompt. From the person who took my order and delivery man- friendly and so nice. Would definitely order again!!!

Not quite as good as I good as I remember from the 80's but still good. We both ordered the # 5 which includes one pizza and one side for $7.99. It is an excellent deal. I had the All-Meat Combo Pizza with the Caramel Monkey Bread as my side. My wife had the Hot Stuff with the Caramel Monkey Bread as her side. Service was good. Food came out piping hot.

First time trying their pizza. It was so amazing and delicious, the crust was not too hard. Big plus that all my toppings were correct and added on my pizza. I love how my order was ready prior to my arrival. The employee gave me everything from napkins, sauce, and seasoning packets without asking. Definitely will be returning here. Since, I was the only one eating for lunch, I only needed a small.

The best pizza around and I drove 2.5 hours for it. It's my childhood memory. Awesome staff and service! Purchased 4 large family feasts to bring some home to share.

Service was great, Pizza was good. Combos give you a lot of food for the price but I was not a fan of the cheese bread (no flavor)

It gives a great vibe for either a work dinner, a date night, owl or dinner with friends! It's fun and swanky but not over the top. They have a really attractive bar and they have a pizza kitchen that is open, which is always a cool touch. I try to handful of appetizers and I've got to recommend both the jerk cauliflower as well as the brussels sprouts and the Caesar salad was delicious as well. Also, the blistered Hungarian peppers are a must order if you'd like sausage! The meal that I had both times because it was that good was the spicy lamb rigatoni. I might just go back next week and get it again. I like that they have a wide variety of options whether you're looking for a gluten-free meal or something carb heavy like pizza or pasta, but they also have options to fit a variety of budgets from a casual dinner and a burger to more expensive entrées. The servers are very kind and are definitely educated in their wine and food offerings and very hospitable. Since this is located on Morris, a lot of people think parking is difficult down there, but apparently there is a parking lot in the back where you're able to get your ticket validated. I know some of my friends wish they would have known this before. I'll definitely be back and recommend this spot to others wanting a good meal!

I think the most expensive meal we had was $240.00 which included entrees and wine. Worth every penny...anyway. We stopped in to Wooden City for a couple of appetizers and a glass of wine. We ordered the peel n eat shrimp and the burrata w/ bread pudding! The food was so good we failed to grab a pic. I can absolutely say the experience rates in the top 4 meals I've had in my 66 years on the planet! I was able to capture the beautiful pour of wine we had. Guys come see them! You'll enjoy it for sure. The ladies sitting next to us ordered two entrees each. They ate one and had one boxed to go...that's gotta tell ya something! Hats off to the TEAM at Wooden City! I'll be visiting again in August .....can't wait!!

Capella Pizzeria definitely deserves their high ratings…read more I came here with some others to pick up some pizzas for a family gathering. I was pleased that the had a large variety of options but even had gelato and desserts as well. Large pizzas run $21-$27 are thin crust. For pizzas, we got two of their Margheritas, Meat Buster and Palermo. They were all good and a hit at the family party. The meat Buster and Palermo had meat but honestly not a whole lot. They were good though. All the pizzas were lots of flavor and the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. I loved that they had chili oil, extra dipping sauce, cheese, and peppers on the side for you to grab. While our time there we even had some gelato which was good and got some cheese cake to go. Our pizzas came out quick. The shop is very large with plenty of places to sit, even good for a large party. I loved that they even had plates on the table ready to go. This was a solid pizza spot and worth checking out if you prefer thinner crust.

The place is sparkling clean, smells fresh, has lots of inviting long benches to do family style meals, an open kitchen where you can see them make your pizzas in the woodfired ovens, and lots of tempting gelato and desserts in glass displays. I also love that they had all you can serve yourself, dipping sauce, condiments, and olive oil. Putting the olive oil in a little pouring container is a nice touch. The servers immediately refilled it when it was out. Pizza was delicious, and I can tell it's made with imported wheat because I do not get bloated after I eat it. We got the margarita and la grassa. No complaints about either. We always pay well for good Neapolitan pizza because we understand that all the ingredients are fresh and some of them are imported directly from Italy such as the wheat. Whole experience was just really wonderful.

First of all, I just want to say how much I appreciate that they have their own parking lot. It is small and sometimes difficult to get out of, but I'll take any parking I can get in Five Points. It's very close to UAB, which is also convenient for hungry students like me. The food itself is delicious! I would really recommend getting one of their specialty pizzas as opposed to just a plain cheese or pepperoni. My personal favorite is the Great White. It's got an olive oil and garlic base and includes different cheeses like ricotta and sheep's milk feta. I believe there are also tomatoes and onions on it as well. It's such a good combination of different flavors. Overall, I haven't had a bad experience yet at Mellow, and would recommend others check it out.

Salvatore's Pizza and Pasta - Baked Ziti with Pepperoni

I was greeted by the front employee, who was wiping down the final tables before service started. I viewed the menu and saw they offered pizza in different sizes and toppings. They also served pasta, including lasagna, chicken alfredo and spaghetti. I learn that the front employee's name was Solomon. He proved excellent customer service to me, answering all of my questions. He even pulled up a special menu on the TV for me to see that changes every day of the week, serving pizza by the slice instead of a whole pie. I ordered the Spaghetti with mushroom meat sauce, which included garlic bread and a side salad. I also ordered 2 pepperoni pizza with a drink. My total was right at $22 dollars for everything. To me, this was a bargain to get so much food as well. The setting of the table featured red and white tablecloths, which made it feel like a real Italian pizzeria. There are about 30-35 tables, with bar stool seating areas for single guest to enjoy the Birmingham view. My food took about 12 minutes to come out, and Solomon bagged everything nice and neatly before I made it to the counter. I went back to the stool seating to enjoy my food. Once he realized I was dining in, he brought over a parmesan cheese shaker for me to use with my food. This was top tier for me! Very observative. The Meal: I can tell you now that the portion sizes are humorous! The pizza is large thin, hand tossed slices that filled the box of a small pizza. The pasta was enough to feed three people, so they give you a well amount for your money. The pizza had to be eaten folded, which I enjoyed a lot. The pizza sauce was full of flavor, didn't seem like anything out of a can. The slices were cheesy, saucy and not overly greasy with a perfect crust. Some of the pizza I've enjoyed in Birmingham. The spaghetti mushroom meat sauce pasta was very meaty and full of mushrooms. The mushrooms could have been sauteed more before adding to the sauce. As the pasta was full of meat, the sauce could have been more. to cover the bottom of the noddle as well. The garlic bread bursted with buttery, garlicy herb flavor and was super airy and fluffy, not like hard toast baked to plinko chips consistency. The salad was super fresh and simple. The cheese was thick, hand shredded mozzarella cheese with fresh romaine lettuce and a slice of tomato. The ranch dressing was not my favorite, but the house vinaigrette was 10/10! I could drink that dressing; it was so good. I was able to wash it all down with various Coca-Cola fountain drinks or fresh brewed tea (Sweet or Unsweet). Coke Zero was an option, which made me happy! Overall, this visit earned a solid 4.5/5 and I would patronize with them again. Customer service as 5/5, thanks to Solomon. The chefs were hard at work the entire time. By the time I left, 75% of the tables were taken and mostly everyone was eating already too. Check them out if you're in the area! -DASC

It was then and now my favorite pizza place in Birmingham. I am from New York and the pizza reminded me of home. I only found out a few weeks ago that this "Downtown" location even existed. I would usually take the 25 minute drive up 280 for my pizza. I have no idea how I missed this. Food: The sauce is the key. Weiher on the pizza or on the pasta. We always order a Meatball Pizza and it has been very consistent. My son and I had a Medium Meatball pizza and Cheese Ravioli Parm which comes with Garlic Bread. Service: The service is simple. You order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. Just like every other Salvatore's location. The manager was OUTSTANDING. I asked for the crust to be a little more done, and it was PERFECT. Ambiance: Super Casual and perfect for the food they make. Lots of table and for the most part very clean. Pizza is a personal thing. What I like, other don't or have their own special place. Now that I know Salvatore's is so close to my home, actually walking distance, I will eat there more often. As a matter of fact, we are ordering for pick up tonight. I don't use delivery services unless I am desperate. Eat Well, Drink well and stay Healthy.
