The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument. To top it off, the facial caused a horrific breakout. I won't be returning and would caution others before spending money here.

I understand it's busy, it's right before the holidays but that's not really fair to keep someone waiting that long and to just say have a seat. Tell me she's behind. I don't know who I'm going to, I've never been here before. When I was waiting , they had me sit in the nail drying chairs which were so hard and uncomfortable- they need padding or a pillow or something. Then they moved me to the pedicure chair, thankfully, which was a little bit more comfortable while I was waiting. My nails came out okay. The tech was very nice. I learned that they don't cut cuticles with the manicure I got, which is kind of disappointing. I did tell her I like them thinner and I feel like they're a little thick. When I checked out, I asked what the total was and was told one number, and when I checked the receipt, it included a fee, which was not the amount I was told. I don't care how much it was-but if someone is asking how much, tell them they are actually being charged including the fee. She asked how everything was and I said it was ok and she didn't press to find out more.
