They showed up on the scheduled day about 8:30 am and we did a walk thru, showing them what was going and what was not. moving from a 4 bdrm to a 2 bdrm takes some downsizing. They started right in, wrapping, filling boxes and moving them out to the truck. Taking apart the furniture that needed it and moving it out to the truck. They are definitely good at their job. It took them till 10:30 at night to get it all packed and stowed in the truck. They were prompt on delivery day too. Showed up at 9 am . started unloading and putting together furniture and placing it where requested. Took till 4pm before they were finished with their part of unpacking . Great job! I highly recommend this company. They are prompt, polite and very good at their job.

The person who booked us was very responsive and answered all our questions. The movers they sent were friendly and handled our stuff with care. After nearly 12 hours of work, the movers left my home in complete disarray. Almost everything was piled into my living room, blocking access to the back of the house. My bed wasn't assembled, clothes had been thrown on the floor, and the job was left unfinished. When they presented an invoice charging me for almost 12 hours, I questioned the condition in which they were leaving my home. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, one of the movers became aggressive and confrontational. He told me he would not leave my house until I signed the paperwork. I repeatedly explained that I wanted to speak with his manager before signing anything. He became increasingly hostile, called someone on the phone, and began using profanity and making disrespectful comments about me. I was alone in my home with my child at the time, and I found his behavior extremely intimidating. When I called the person who had recommended the company and handed the mover my phone so they could speak, he threw my phone. I was advised to contact the police because of his behavior. Eventually, he left, but not before insisting that I would still have to pay and could complain the following day. I have photographs documenting the condition in which they left my home, as well as videos of the employee's behavior. No customer should ever feel intimidated or unsafe in their own home, especially when simply questioning an invoice or requesting to speak with management. I expected professional moving services, respectful communication, and a completed job. Unfortunately, I received none of those.

About five minutes later, I received a call from the driver stating they had never received my appointment and were already on their way to Los Angeles -- nowhere near where I live. He then told me they could get to my place at 4:00 PM. My move was scheduled for 9:00 AM, and I had taken the day off for this, so this was completely unacceptable. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable. Thankfully, I was able to find another company last minute for the same price, and I'm so glad I did. Afterward, I looked up more reviews for 365 Days Labor and realized that many others had similar negative experiences. I would definitely not recommend this company. Coastal Moving didn't tell us they were a broker, and then Plymouth didn't tell us that they were going to subcontract our move to some 101 Moving trucker which resulted in our items being loaded and unloaded MULTIPLE TIMES. Our stuff was wildly mishandled, damaged boxes, broken and stolen/lost items including an irreplaceable 100 yr old bench vise, and our contact Adam with Plymouth was a snake. Every promise or assurance he gave us went unfulfilled. He tried to tell me that his movers had this down to a science. Upon delivery, that science consisted of boxes torn to shreds, boxes loaded on their sides and upside down, and of course the previously mentioned stolen/lost goods. Then, when I brought this up to Adam he BLAMED ME for the movers stacking boxes on their sides and upside down. I must have over packed the boxes, he said, which is why they were sideways and upside down???? Absolutely pathetic customer service. We were also promised 4 movers at pickup and delivery and only 3 were at each location. Again, I was told this was my fault because I was promised 4 movers but then was told after the fact that a move averages 3-6 movers so 4 is in that range so what's the problem. Whatever you do, don't use Plymouth Van Lines for your move. You'll more than likely be lied to with vague assurances to string you along and then when you realize you've been treated terribly someone like Adam will blame you. Horrible, horrible experience.

Even from the start at my free in home estimate, the owner, Derek, took great care of explaining every policy to me, asked what things were being moved, and made sure we had a solid game plan. I got his full written estimate that day and it was right on target in the end. I got reminder emails 5 days out and the day before to remind me of anything I could have needed to know. The crew was on time, professional, and all seemed genuinely happy to help my family make a new start. Every step of the way they confirmed how I'd like things done, were kind, respectful, and just great humans to be around. When they left, they didn't leave a trace of ever being in my starting point and in our new home. They did a thorough walk-through and inspection of items at both my starting home and my new one, plus they made sure all the rooms were arranged to my liking in our new home.
