Moving is already a somewhat stressful process but Goat Movers proved to be a good choice. Mike the owner was quick to respond and answer all my questions. The day of the move I got a call when movers were on the way and they even arrived 15 mins early. Stan and Oleg were incredible!! They were incredibly professional, careful with all our belongings and worked incredibly hard! Was expecting the job to take 4 hours max however it's easy to see how the workload can be underestimated. They finished in 5.5 hours but worked nonstop and very quickly and efficiently. When I move again would definitely recommend Goat Movers and hope to get Stan and Oleg or movers as amazing as them!! Thank you!!! read more

I used GOAT Movers this past weekend for a HUGE residential move...from a 2 bedroom townhouse to a 5 bedroom house (they even picked up some items from storage for us!) In the past with other moving companies I have experienced tardiness, miscommunications, hidden fees, super young/inexperienced movers, and broken items. That was NOT my experience with GOAT movers. Andrew and his team was extremely efficient with our big move. They went above and beyond to make sure we had rooms well staged to our comfort before they left. Andrew is a good project manager with a great memory! He remembered where everything went and was able to direct his team well. I am very pleased with our move. read more

Amazing how quickly they were available. The job was to move a 48 inch Sub-Zero Refrigerator Freezer. The company was provided with a picture of the unit and the measurements. $500 was the fee. When they came, the 2 guys brought a standard dolly, like what I have in my shed. I asked why they would not use an appliance dolly with a strap. They did not know what an appliance dolly was. I showed them a picture. They said they just used their normal dolly. Fine with me. However, they found that they could not tilt and move the refrigerator even across a hardwood floor with their setup, and they said they could not do the job! The manager said he did not realize it was that big and heavy. How could he not know? He was given the measurements and a picture and of course a 48 inch Sub-Zero is one of the larger heavier units, something a professional mover would know. I knew more about moving refrigerators than the "Greatest of All Time" movers. Now I have to start over. Wow. read more

If you are moving or need your house cleared out and prefer working with responsive, customer-driven, extremely energetic, responsible, and thorough people, I would strongly suggest that you use G.O.A.T. movers. From your first inquiry until the job is done, you will have peace of mind knowing that you could not be in better hands. read more

Had a great experience with GOAT Movers in our move from Hermosa Beach to Ventura County. From the start, pricing was very competitive (better if you pay by cash) with low cost moving companies, but I felt the customer service and experience was great. We received a quick response when asking for a quote, and when we decided to finally book, they were able to accommodate our aggressive next- day request. Once booked, we were set up in their portal, where timing was all tracked to keep everyone honest. You must sign when the movers arrive, finish packing the truck, when they leave, arrive, and finish the job. Our movers HUSTLED. They were getting paid by the hour but they made every effort to get in and out of there as fast as possible, which I VERY much appreciated. Highly recommend! read more

I'm still in the middle of unpacking and exhausted so this review won't be as witty as I'm capable of. I hired these guys after getting quotes from at least half a dozen movers. They are right in the middle for hourly rates, but they didn't add any surprise charges when it was time to confirm the appointment. We moved from a one-bedroom in KTown to a one-bedroom in the Westdale neighborhood of West LA. They suggest either two or three guys for a one-bedroom. We went with three because I figured boxes and furniture would be in constant motion, which would make the move fast enough that we might end up saving money. I'm positive that's exactly what happened. Even with three guys constantly it took seven hours to complete the move, and boxes were constantly in motion. If there were only two guys they would never have been able to complete it in one day. I don't even know what the protocol is for that. We paid cash, which saved us some money. After tipping it was just under $1100, and that's the best $1100 purchase I've ever made. We would have murdered each other if we had to move ourselves, we've collected too much crap over the years. Our last move was from a 3rd floor apartment to a 5th floor apartment in the same building and we hated each other for weeks. My wife and I packed all the boxes beforehand and marked a lot of them "FRAGILE". Only one item was broken during the move and it was one of my wife's "Friends" wine glasses, so who gives a s**t?! That show sucks. "Seinfeld" for Life! read more

We had to hire movers in a week due to our schedule. Upon contacting G.O.A.T. Movers, G.O.A.T business owner (Mike W) was very responsive and answered many of our questions in e-mail. Mike's recommendation for our two bedroom apartment was four to five people and estimated 7-9 hours for the total move. Note that State of CA requires adding round-trip driving time if the destination is over 10-mile away. We decided to hire a four-person team. On the day of the move, Mike and his crew (different Mike from G.O.A.T. owner) arrived 15 minutes earlier than the appointment time. Mike, the foreman, was organized, communicative, and hard working. Upon arrival he wanted to see the items we wanted to be moved room by room. Then Mike explained to me their plan in general, like first they will move out boxes and then large furniture pieces, etc. He identified the start and end times with me. His team members were wrapping articles fast and moving them carefully. They wrapped our furniture pieces with blankets, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and/or wardrobe boxes, whichever fits best for the piece. One of them seemed to be an expert in assembling/reassembling furniture, and even a treadmill. They used ingenious method in moving furniture out of a room when the room entrance was smaller. I also appreciated their politeness in that they all asked if they could use our bathroom EVERY TIME. If we had questions, they explained or suggested better method. They were also quite accommodating to last-minute request. Simply put, our moving experience was great and we were very lucky to have Mike and crew. I strongly recommend their service. read more

Andrew and his team just helped us today! Great, great guys- hard working, diligent, knowledgeable and thorough: this is the moving company you want to pick for your next move. My girlfriend had so much stuff in her apartment it was almost like moving her out of a house, but GOAT movers were undaunted. They packed everything up carefully, they were quick, took few breaks (they were working so quickly they should have taken more!) and overall made our moving experience completely stress-free. Highly recommend! read more
