Before I found them, I tried other groomers in town with Coco Bear and she would be there all day, where as SB Paws and Claws usually have everything done in under two hours. I recently brought in our new rescue, Pepper who we were told is a poodle, yorkie and maltese mix. It was her first haircut and they were so wonderful, updating me throughout the appointment to let me know how Pepper was doing as I was a little nervous her being away from me for the first time. They did a wonderful job of course, and it is clear that they really care about the pets that they work with!

Number one, I do not worry about penny coming home sick which was a frequent problem taking her to groomers with many dogs in the shop. Secondly, Sunny is always on time and I don't need to dedicate half of the day to the project. She's a dog lover and it shows with Penny's attitude towards her on arrival. Thought about it went and got my dog and brought her home I will take her to another place. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this groomer…read more The business hours/sign clearly state "7:00 AM-12:00 PM for drop-off", and when we called to make our appointment, Jeremy specifically confirmed that we could drop our dog off on the agreed-upon date within those hours. Like anyone else, we planned our day around that appointment and the expectation that the business would be available during the hours provided. Unfortunately, this has now happened three times. We have arrived during the agreed-upon drop-off window and no one has been there. On two of those occasions, there were also other customers waiting. One time, Jeremy did eventually text us, but it was after we had already arrived. We completely understand that things come up and that life happens, but a simple text or call letting us know that he would be running late or that something unexpected came up would have made a huge difference. What is most frustrating is that our time is valuable too. We made arrangements around these appointments, only to have to turn around, take our dog back home, and rearrange our plans. After multiple occurrences, it no longer feels like an isolated situation but a pattern. We genuinely try to support small, local businesses, but unfortunately we will not be supporting this one any longer. If you are someone who has other plans scheduled around your dog's grooming appointment, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. You cannot reliably plan your day around the drop-off hours or appointment time being honored.
