Since Sunny has gotten popular, she has hired a few employees. I can tell she picked them carefully because Kailey was wonderful. My cat is scared of almost all people, but he loved Kailey right away. He was purring and nuzzling her. She's soft-spoken and has that animal touch. You can tell she's trustworthy. I'm positive she spent the whole time with my pet, no tv or anything. She also left me a little note every time telling me how everything went. I also requested a text update from each visit, and she was prompt in texting me each time. My cat is diabetic and requires insulin every day. Kailey is certified to administer shots, so my cat was able to receive his insulin while I was away. Also, my cat is usually really upset at me when I get home from a trip. The longer the trip, the longer it takes for me to calm him down. I went on a long trip, 5 days, and it used to take him 2 hours to calm down if the trip was that long. But since he had Kailey come 3 times, it was remarkably easy to calm him down. I loved it! As far as price: if you consider how much you are paying them an hour, it's a lot. But a kennel is more and the pet is not in his familiar environment. My cat is 17 years old and just knowing that my cat was fine and I was being reassured every other day was definitely worth the price! I would recommend Kailey to anyone. read more

have used there service several times now and have been very pleased. set up was very easy, simply emailed the company and I recieved a call from sunny almost immediately. they will set up a "meet and greet" to make sure everyone (animals included) is a good fit. we needed someone overnight to pet sit. Hanna has helped us out on several occasions now, including one extended stay. she has been terrific. she texted us to let us know how the animals were doing both when she arrived and when she left the next morning. She did great with all our animals (3 dogs and 4 cats). there was no problem giving medication to 2 of our cats. we came home with everything in order and the animals safe and happy. hanna even called us when rain was in the forecast to ask if there was anything additional that needed to be done due to the rain. appreciate this type of attention to detail. we feel very comfortable having the pets pat sitters look after our pets! read more

We were looking for someone to take care of our two cats while we were away for an extra long weekend. After several calls to other companies, I finally found Sunny, the owner of The Pets Pal! From the very first phone call, Sunny demonstrated her reliability and follow through - two things that really matter when you're trusting your critters wellbeing to someone else. We met our sitter, Hannah, a week before and it was immediately clear that she was a true animal lover. She sent me a text every time she visited and even threw in some adorable pictures of Felix and Lyra to let us know they were doing just fine! Sunny seems to have nailed the importance of communication and updates to her clients as well as hiring seriously cool animal lovers! If I could give more stars I would! I have met several of the Pet Sitting staff here and they have not only been true animal lovers but also very respectful and trustworthy. I met Sunny in 2009 and her confidence and loving nature persuaded me to try their dog walking service with my dog, Brew. They always came when I scheduled in advance or last minute... I've also used them for several daily visits for my short and extended vacations (up to 2 weeks) they always left my home clean, updated daily with emails, texts and pictures and Brew always seemed happy and relaxed when I got home, which says a lot! Nikki was my dog walker most often but Becky and Cris also helped on occasion. Like I said before all very nice and trustworthy. As someone who has used several pet sitters in the past, I can say with absolute certainty that the Pets Pal are the best! Raphael and Sylvie were just wonderful with my older cat who, can often be sensitive to new visitors. Raphael and Sylvie were gentle, kind, and so sweet to my cat that she now adores them and likes it when I go out of town! I've been using The Pet Pals for the past 3 years. They've always been very reliable and they do a great job of taking care of my dogs. Raphael & Sylvie are amazing with my two dogs. They were able to quickly learn what each of my dogs needed and they provide texts and pictures after each visit so that I can see that Zoe & Riley are doing well. My dogs go crazy when they see Raphael or Sylvie. They absolutely love them and I know they're in good hands when I travel. I've also used Lara from The Pet Pals. I have had others watch my cats in the past, and have not always had the best results. The first time I met Sunny, I was immediately put at ease. Sunny has watched my cats while I have been out of town twice now. Both times, she was sweet enough to give me a little progress report with how everything was going, and let me know when she completed her last feeding. I have zero worries going out of town because I know that the fur kids will be taken care of the way I would take care of them. Great service and peace of mind from The Pets Pal! We were gone over 2 weeks during the holidays recently and Raphael was awesome during this time. We have 2 kitties and he stopped by every other day for 30 mins and maintained food, water, and litter box. Raphael and Sylvie were very organized and attentive when they came over to my house for a "meet and greet" with my cat. While I was away, they sent me daily texts with photos and videos of Daisy, who looked very content and well-cared for. They also took out the trash and watered my plants. We recently hired Pet Pals to watch our two dogs while we were on a short vacation. These guys are great, they have taken care of my elderly cat a few times now and she is always in good health! They will give meds, clean poop, and play with your pet the way you ask them to every time. They also make sure you have made it home, and don't just abandon your pet if you get stuck and their contract is up.
