I contacted a few places through Yelp and Huntington Rug Cleaning offered the most reasonable and transparent pricing, quickest turnaround time, and didn't require a deposit. (Payment is made when rugs are delivered). I also liked the fact that they're locally owned and have been in business for decades. They say timing is everything, and it just so happened that when I called the owner (Robert) he said his son/employee (Jake) was in my nabe and offered to send him right over for a free estimate. Jake is super knowledgeable and friendly, first we chatted about rugs, movies and other stuff. Then we agreed on a reasonable price for cleaning and a new rug pad, and my dirty rugs were whisked away. Jake stayed in touch over the week and even sent me a Youtube video of the rugs being cleaned! Just got the rugs back and they look and smell fantastic, can hardly recognize them (in a good way). The new rug pad makes walking on them super comfy too. Excellent service, highly recommend Huntington Rug Cleaning!

They identified additional things to be done (fringe repair and remediation of faded color), which I wanted to leave till next time for budget reasons, and there was no pressure to do the work now. The pickup and drop-off were easy to schedule, prompt, and the guys who did it were happy to work with us to get the position just right on reinstallation. The store was amazing as his guys brought out a wide selection of rugs in all price points, till we found the perfect Kerman for my living room. He has been my one and only go to guy, for fine quality rugs ever since. He cleaned my parents large antique Sarouk, which once belonged to my grandparents. We were amazed at the vibrancy of this 100+ year old work of art. As a bonified expert in his field, he was also able to provide an appraisal for insurance purposes.
