(Please don't judge, I did vacuum and spot clean:). So it was high time to get those rugs really clean and Huntington Rug Cleaning did a stellar job doing it! I contacted a few places through Yelp and Huntington Rug Cleaning offered the most reasonable and transparent pricing, quickest turnaround time, and didn't require a deposit. (Payment is made when rugs are delivered). I also liked the fact that they're locally owned and have been in business for decades. They say timing is everything, and it just so happened that when I called the owner (Robert) he said his son/employee (Jake) was in my nabe and offered to send him right over for a free estimate. Jake is super knowledgeable and friendly, first we chatted about rugs, movies and other stuff. Then we agreed on a reasonable price for cleaning and a new rug pad, and my dirty rugs were whisked away. Jake stayed in touch over the week and even sent me a Youtube video of the rugs being cleaned! Just got the rugs back and they look and smell fantastic, can hardly recognize them (in a good way). The new rug pad makes walking on them super comfy too. Excellent service, highly recommend Huntington Rug Cleaning!

Then they sent us updates every few days with progress of the work (and photos). Drop off was easy, and our cleaned rugs look like new. This is truly a local small business here in Huntington. Unfortunately another business, which is not local and charges way more, has a listing name that looks very similar to theirs. Don't get fooled (they tricked me), make sure you're talking to Robert and Jake.
