Chicken & chips
Elaine F.

We are staying in Rehoboth this week & ate Go Fish twice. First time it was takeout and tonight we dined in with the whole family. The clam chowder was outstanding. We tried fish & chips, chicken & chips, shrimp & chips, a chicken Caesar salad, mushy peas--the works. The staff was so friendly. The kids got placemats with puzzles and crayons. It was a great family dinner.

This place opens daily at 11:30 a.m., offering both takeout service, which you can order at the window, as well as table service. I tried the fish and chips along with the crab cake. While the fish and chips were authentic, I honestly preferred the crab cake... it was absolutely delicious. Their crab cake had no filler and packed with flavor. The fish and chips were fresh and hot, with the fish being especially tender. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal. P.S.: best crab cake in Delaware thus far!

As someone who has lived in New Zealand and traveled extensively in the UK, I'm quite particular about fish and chips. It's difficult to find fish and chips that truly capture the British or Kiwi style, but this place excels. Their beer-battered fish is absolutely delicious, and the chips are incredibly TASTY!

Stopped in for lunch at Go Fish in Rehoboth Beach and was really impressed. It's a small, charming spot just off the boardwalk, owned and run by a British woman--which explains why the fish and chips are legit! We ordered the fish and chips and the chicken and chips, and both were absolutely delicious. The beer batter is homemade, super light and crispy, and everything is made to order. You can really taste the freshness in the fish. We also tried the onion rings, which use the same batter--again, perfectly done. The place is cozy, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Our server, Mo, was a standout. So friendly and personable--you can tell she loves what she does. She made the experience even better. If you're in Rehoboth and craving something satisfying, definitely stop by Go Fish. Simple, fresh, and done right.

I had no expectations for this place but I really enjoyed it. The staff was sooo nice. I got the calamari and fried oysters. The calamari was paired with a chipotle mayo based sauce. I love when marinara sauce isn't automatically paired with fried seafood. The chipotle sauce was really good. The calamari were small but perfectly cooked. I recommend asking for lemon to squeeze on. The fried oysters were also very delicious. They reminded me of huevera which I ate as a little kid in Peru. My son got the kids fish and chips. The fries were good. He said the fish was fine. It looked very different from the regular, non kid meal fish and chips platter. I would get that one instead. The kids one looked like fish sticks and we were expecting batter fried. Don't remember if I misread the menu maybe. But still good. I would come here again. The decor was obvious. We were able to sit in a booth. Again such friendly staff

Love, love, LOVE this place! Such authentic British pub-style place and food! The staff were super helpful and friendly too! The fish and chips were some of the best I ever had! The soup was fantastic! Can't wait to be in the area again, and this will be my first stop!

This place is 100/10. Very authentic fish and chips spot. My 7yo stepson ate an entire fish sandwich from here, then asked to come back the next day. Good for kids. Super cute British decor inside. I would recommend the sticky toffee pudding as well!

Superb hidden gem just off the crowded beach boardwalk. Cute interior with London Underground theme. Solid fish and chips plus drinks remind us of Brighton Pier. Absolutely amazing desserts elevate this joint to legendary status!! Tried both Ghirardelli Brownies and Key Lime Pie. Perfect amount of sweet and tartness. Phenomenal crew!! Everyone we encountered is a pleasure to interact with, makes this place even more special. We'll be back for sure!!

Fish and chips with mushy peas, skip the coleslaw

This place has the most amazing fish and chips every time we come to the beach this is our first restaurant and last that we go to it is fantastic. The only negative is that we can't eat fish and chips anywhere else. Highly recommend this place.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Now I am not a fish and chip expert but I know delicious when I have it! Batter is light and airy with just enough crispness. Fish was super moist and mild. Oh and they do the same for chicken strips which I have personally never seen before. My kid loved them. The chips were ok but with you know who across the street it's hard not to want those instead. I think they need to partner! And the owners are super awesome as well! Definitely should be in your rotation for Rehoboth trips.

I had to take a moment of me time on this work trip. I was going to make it a day just for myself and search out some good food in the area. The last time I was here I really didn't get to experience the area much. The street is so vibrant and I found myself already on my way here. Being so close to the ocean I knew I wanted some fish and chips. I did a search beforehand just for some local joints. Didn't really do much research on it, just, like I said, found myself on my way here. I like the approach they took here. You can either order at the walk up window or dine in. Definitely gives you that boardwalk vibe. But, do yourself a favor, and dine inside. It is kind of like an immersive experience. Especially for those that have visited London. The approach taken inside is to hit you with as much Britain as they can, specifically London. That bold blue is everywhere you look, British flags hang from everywhere and all along the walls you will see Underground Station's signs. Almost transports you to London. Many of the signs were recognizable to me. When I walked in the gentleman behind the counter asked me if I was dining in. When I said yes he told me I could sit wherever I wanted and he'd be with me shortly. I picked a two-seater that gave me a good view of the whole inside. When the gentleman came over I didn't have any doubt of what I was going to order, without missing a beat I said I wanted the Fish N Chips and off he went. While I waited for my food I just kept looking around the space. The mirrored wall makes it feel a lot bigger in here than it is. The Underground Signs had me reminiscing before my food got to me. I'd look at a sign and remember taking the Tube from there to visit an attraction or just move about the city. Then my food arrived. You get a big honking piece of fish. This thing is huge that is stretches the whole plate, and it's one of those oval plates. Of course it comes with chips, cole slaw, and tarter sauce. I'm gonna tell you a secret, I never use tarter sauce unless I am eating fish n chips. Can't tell you why, but it just tastes better, it's not logical at all. That fish was battered perfectly. Each bite there was a crispiness to it and each bite got a smear of that tartar sauce. Even when the fish would fall apart, I'd still do my best to get every morsel into my mouth. The slaw was a nice cool contrast to the piping hotness of the fish. And no, I would never overlook the chips. They were masterfully cut with that imperfect cut, course salt, and add some ketchup. I devoured this meal as I was being transported back to London in my mind. The neatest thing about this place is how you can pay. You have the option to pay at the register like at most businesses. Or you have the convenience of scanning the QR code on your tab and paying via that. I chose that option, it made it that much easier. On my way out I was asked by the gentleman how I enjoyed the meal. I told him it was amazing and took me back to London. He thanked me for that as he viewed that as a great compliment. And honestly, this is the closest I have gotten to true British fish n chips since I returned. I try the dish anytime I see it and none have compared to this place.

The Fish and Chips is awesome. The batter and fish were perfect. One of the best seasoned shepherds pies I ever had too.

So ... it wasn't a great first visit…read more We went yesterday and they were out of a number of things. Tried to order fish and chips with cod or haddock . I guess I still could've gotten them if I was okay with Salmon, Sword Fish, or some other non whitefish. My buddy tried to justify it by saying it's St Pattys day ... like the business didn't know that. I next tried fried chicken. Oops ... outta that too. In coastal Delaware? The chicken capital of the mid Atlantic. The table ordered crab dip that apparently comes with tortilla chips with a little old bay sprinkled on them. When you try to dip the tortilla in the crab dip the chip breaks... To the owner or manager ... it's awkward and doesn't work. And for a $1.50 you can add a dinner roll sized loaf of bread. It just feels like intentional nickel pinching. For me I settled on the Jambalaya... honestly the shrimp were nice but the dish didn't really taste like what it was meant to represent. And there wasn't enough rice to make it worth the mid $20s price tag. Finally, one of our group was drinking her mixed drink and there was a fruit fly in the ice. He was nice about it and replaced it with another. It happens when you use fruit as garnish. The place was decorated nice, and the service was pretty good. The only other criticism.... When they were out or fried fish and chicken I was going to pivot to wings.... But man $18.00 for chicken wings. And you know it's actually half a wing (a drum or flap). I guess I could live with it when wings were scarce but not now. If they had chicken I could've gotten a breast and two whole wings with 2 sides for $21.50. So you are paying $18.00 for 3 whole wings a couple of tablespoons of sauce, a couple celery sticks, and a condiment cup of ranch or blue cheese. Honestly I probably won't go back.

My family and friends of four opted for a high top table to the right of the main bar or across from the secondary bar. We were here on Tuesday for Lobster happy hour. I enjoyed my two well vodka and pineapple juices for $5 each. I also enjoyed my two Big Oyster Noir Et Bleu draft beers for $7 each. It is a Belgian triple brewed with blueberries and cold steeped on black tea with notes of esters, clove, banana and blueberries. I also enjoyed my crab imperial stuffed lobster tail with lobster sauce and a side of asparagus for $20. I applied my gift card to my total bill of $89 excluding gratuity. Carter G. served us very well. We agreed we will continue to return to Fins on a future Tuesday for more lobster. I also purchased another $400 gift card, which included a total value of $500 including the $25 per $100 gift card bonus.

Kudos to her for trying to stay on top of everything -- while keeping a positive attitude -- but she needed help! Food was decent but not great. Fried green tomatoes were the best thing we had on the table. New Zealand Calamari were under fried (should have been crispier) and under seasoned. Cheesesteak egg roll was more "roll" than contents -- actually kind of hard to get down. Manhattan clam chowder needed more seasoning and needed to be warmer in temperature. As far as dress is concerned, patrons come in jeans and sneakers to business casual and everything in-between. It has a limited menu, but the choices are good. We decided to try the Seafood Quesadilla as an appetizer and to be honest, we both enjoyed it so much, we wish we had ordered it for the main course. The Mrs. had the salmon with rice and veggies of the day. I had the Fish and Chips. Our server, Ashley, was pleasant and attentive. Overall, a nice casual experience.
