Wow!!!! Found this place through chance on Yelp. We're on our way home from the beach and took a detour. While we were in Delaware I searched for a local seafood place and picked Jojo's by chance and now we will be making trips from PA just to come back here!! It is mainly a take away restaurant that is connected to the back of a Burger King with a few outdoor tables but do not let the size of this place fool you!!! The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Great customer service and energy. When he heard it was our first time he gave us great recommendations as well as a sample of their famous cream of crab soup! Little did he know, today is my birthday and he completely made my day!! We ordered 3 Shrimp Po boys and a Shrimp Po boy wrap which each comes with fresh cut French fries...and then we got a Pint of their famous cream of crab soup which he even gave us baguettes for!!! Wow! What a great surprise! I found this place on Yelp and based on reviews figured I would give it try. My favorite part about road trips is the food and the places we stop at. Tiny place - no inside dining so depending on time of year you eat in your car or sit at tables outside. Well worth it either way. We got the fried fish platter with FF coleslaw and Mac and cheese as sides. Wow! The fish was perfectly seasoned and fresh and plentiful! I think the platters are priced perfectly based on the amount of food you get and the quality. We did get a cup of the crab chowder based on the sample we had - amazing-- but we were so full from the platter that we had to put it in our cooler to eat later at destination. I had heard some good reviews from this place, decided to go for lunch and boy was it SO DELICIOUS! I got the bang bang chicken with a side of rice and coleslaw, everything was reasonably priced, the owner being a first-time customer gave me a complementary cream of crab soup, every bite had real lump crab in it! We found Jo Jo's Express while looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat that was not fast food. Our group of 6 (4 adults and two kids) enjoyed every bite of our meals. The Salmon Sandwich, Crab Cake Sandwiches, and Shrimp Po'Boy were deliciously seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our kids loved the chicken fingers and boneless wings. We finished our meals with some AMAZING pumpkin cheesecake and lemon cookies. We will definitely be back to Jo Jo's Express next time we are in Georgetown or Lewes for a visit! read more

I was from out of state, visiting a friend in Millsboro, and I stopped in to get lunch at BK. However... this location is a hidden gem in the Burger King building by the drive-thru entrance. I checked it out and discovered the most amazing seafood takeout. I met Miers, who was running the location, who told me all about the entrees. I chose the Crab Cake sandwich and a cup of Cream of Crab. The Cream of Crab was simply delicious, large, and many pieces of Crab lump. The Crab Cake sandwich was beautifully presented. The Brioche bread was very soft, the Crab Cake juicy and scrumptious, with the aioli topping. I enjoyed it so much, I stopped back in later in the day for two quarts of Cream of Crab, to go. One for my local friend who hadn't heard about the location, and one to take home to my wife. I absolutely recommend this location. Wish they had these in Florida!! read more

Visited Express after a work assignment. They offered a sample of the cream of crab which was delectable. I got it, the salmon, mac and green bean platter and it too was amazing. Great staff. Great food and the perfect motivation to visit the Salisbury location. That also did NOT disappoint. The ambiance was amazing and consistent with my initial experience. My husband and i ordered the crab cake platters this afternoon. I had mine with fries and coleslaw, and he had his with mac & cheese and green beans. We were both disappointed with the crab cakes. We felt they were over seasoned, small in size, and not much lump meat for the price. We saw them on Delmarva Life, and the crabcakea looked awesome, but the ones we received were much smaller and didn't look the same. I doubt that we will return. Stopped at Jo Jo's express for a cup of the best cream of crab soup and ended up with another great cup of soup and to our surprise the best cheesesteak as well. Location was clean, team was polite and food and service was outstanding! Definitely the place to go when in the area! read more
