    More grime.

I haven't even gotten my meal yet and I'm writing the review. The baseboards and the ceiling tiles have not been cleaned since the last moon landing. No wonder Dick is Crabby. This place is pretty slow for a Monday, you would think the service would be better, you'd be thinking wrong. Now onto the food. The signature seaman sauce is mustard and mayo, very unimaginative. The cream of crab soup has been on the pot a little too long, it was too thick, that says to me that water has evaporated out of it. Two small pieces of fish, for $21 I didn't even get fries, that was an extra five dollar charge. It's my understanding that this place is under new ownership and it shows because getting grilled onions on my sandwich was an extra dollar or tomato was an extra dollar any toppings outside of what is in the menu is a dollar. The first thing that comes to mind is that if you need to purge of tapeworm, this is the place to do it. It's a tourist trap and they don't know any better. The location in Delaware city was much better and had a better view, but has now been renamed "Dolly Spankers" under the same owners, so have to call that into question now

Hey friends! I was visiting a coastal town, so I wanted FRESH seafood, duh LOL. This place was close to my hotel and highly rated so I decided to check it out. Crabby Dick's is a casual spot that offer a variety of seafood entrees with a sprinkle of other traditional American entrees. I went for the fried shrimp entree($9.95). It came with about 5 decent sized shrimp and a good amount of fries. Everything was delicious! The shrimp was fresh and perfectly golden. Fries were frozen but still delicious. -Customer service was great. -There's a bar area as well as booths/ tables for dine- in. -Restaurant was clean and well stocked. -Parking is free and ample. -Great for causal dinners or watching sports. Not great for special occasions, imo. -Average pricing. Hope you enjoy! With love, The Picky Pescatarian

This place has been around forever and has always just been ok. The food, the service, the drinks are all very much 3-star worthy. The inside is dark and feels more like a dive bar than a restaurant. Not horrible but not option number one

Jenni's been here many times but today was my first time. We stopped for lunch and were the only customers in the place until another table was sat in the bar area. I selected the fish n chips and that's what Jenni said she usually gets so that's what we both had. The fish was large and tasted great. The fries had an interesting and delicious seasoning. The coleslaw didn't look very good but was unexpectedly tasty. Peter, the bartender, waited on us and was super friendly and checked on us regularly. We were unaware of any specials until after we finished our meals and Peter told us about them. I asked if they were posted somewhere and he said he forgot to mention today's special and was sorry. The specials weren't posted because we looked (and so did Peter) as we left. I liked my meal but would have gotten the crabcake and two sides had I known it was on special today. Also, the server who was helping the other table had an extremely loud voice and seemed to be screaming at his customers (who were, admittedly, older) but it was distracting since the restaurant was, otherwise, empty.

Stopped here for a quick dinner while at a baseball tournament with my boys. This was across the street from the hotel so it was easy to get to. Walking in you're met with a little shop with different types of merchandise that you could buy in reference to restaurant , they had shirts, hats, cups stuff like that. The shirts were actually kind of funny, They had some sexual innuendos but nothing too crazy just good funny humor. The guy at the desk that took our name was polite and friendly. We waited about 20 minutes, maybe and were seated, we were greeted by our waiter who was a very friendly individual. I ordered the crab bisque soup which was honestly the highlight of the meal, I highly recommend it. I also ordered the shrimp and chips which wasn't bad , they were large shrimp and coated nicely just didn't have tons of flavor. My wife ordered the flounder and she said she wasn't impressed with it but she's also not a big seafood eater and the boys enjoyed their burgers they got. The bathrooms are set up a little differently than what I've seen before. All the bathrooms are actually individual rooms. There's not one large bathroom with a bunch of stalls and urinals. They're one individual bathroom for each person so I guess if you like privacy when you go to the bathroom while out and about, this is your place. Overall the place wasn't too bad, the price was OK but not great but we did enjoy our time there and maybe some of the other items on the menu are a lot better than what we got.

Ask the Community - Crabby Dick’s

Is their outside seating covered? I want to take my wife there tonight but it's been raining on and off all day.

As you face the restaurant, it APPEARS that they may have outdoor dining. But I don't know. Give them a call.

They texted us and the text provided a wait list showing what place we were in the queue, and much was pretty nice. For the appetizer, we got the Crab Spinach Dip, which was odd in and of itself because the menu says it has artichokes but doesn't mention spinach. It came with chips and was very tasty. I must admit I was a little disappointed in the portion. The bowl of dip was not full and while the chips did cover the amount of dip, it wasn't very much. For dinner, I got the Fish & Chips, Fries and Cole Slaw. It wasn't bad. Not the best I've ever had, but not bad. I'd probably try something else next time. My wife got the Crab Imperial, which was very good. She also got a Bloody Mary to go with her meal. My son got the Big Shrimp with Saffron rice and broccoli, which was very good. Our friend got the Big Chicken with what looked like pureed Yams. He thought it was decent. The highlight was the dessert, which was the Double Chocolate Cake and a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. We really enjoyed it. Our wait staff did a decent job as well. We will definitely be back.

The Ahi tuna on a fried wanton, mango, cucumber, avocado, seaweed salad, with siracha for the kick! The tuna was fresh and tender on the fried wanton was delicious. The calamari was not the best. It was mostly batter. I barely tasted the squid.each piece was small and For our main entrees we ordered the following: Crab cake dinner came with asparagus and rice. The crab cakes were big with no fillers. The rice was not fully cooked, there was still some crunch when you ate it. So we had it replaced with mash potatoes. And that was so good. Fish and chips: for the price, the 3 pieces of fish were very disappointing! There were barely any fish for the 3 pieces. It was mostly hallow in the batter. Check out my pictures. But the fries were good. Imperial flounder: three from our group ordered this. The portion was big! The flounder was soft and tender, added the stuffed crab was even better! My only issue with this was there was barely any seasoning! Which was fine in this case because we had people with high blood pressure. We had to add a little salt and pepper for some taste. Seared salmon - dinner special. My daughter had it cooked medium, but it came out a little more than medium. There was no raw pink in the middle. The salmon was good, but it came out bland with no searing. This was good too for my daughter since we don't want her to get use to eating salty food. Overall, this place is decent.
