I am a regular at Drybar Birmingham and I've been going there consistently for about 4 to 5 years…read more I do, however, stop into this location in Ann Arbor a few times a year as well. This location is much larger than the one in Birmingham. As far as hair goes, it can be very hit or miss. I've had amazing blowout that have lasted days and I've had other blowout that it doesn't even look like I did anything to my hair. The customer service has always been absolutely amazing and the shop manager has always try to make everything right. If you are here for a photo shoot for an important event, I would recommend requesting a senior stylist. Overall, I'm fairly happy with another Drybar location in the area! The managers at both Drybar locations and the district manager have always been amazing.

I don't trust many people with mine because it's taken me a long time to grow it out and take care of it, but he was the first person to cut it after two years of no trims, and I've been coming back every three months ever since. My hair has never felt better. I also brought my mom once, she wanted a short haircut, but Cameron made a better recommendation based on her face shape, and it turned out amazing. She left feeling so confident and beautiful! I've also been doing the strengthening treatment with my cuts, and it's made my hair noticeably healthier and shinier. This time around, I came in for a trim and a Keratin Express treatment, and the results were wowwwww. With all the rain lately, I usually get a ton of frizz, but this treatment actually works and is totally worth the hype. I also picked up a few products Cameron recommended including a mousse, an anti‑frizz serum, and a thermic treatment. Full disclosure: I'm a Kérastase lover and have been using the brand for years, but I didn't know about these specific treatments. Now I'm obsessed. My hair feels so smooth, glowy, and healthy. If you're picky about who touches your hair, Cameron is your guy. I couldn't be happier with the results every single visit!!!!

I was fortunate enough to have Mady Rupp, she matched my color perfectly, and was willing to give me a braided up do (it's 100 degrees today). She listens and she knows hair. She gets you in fast and out fast. She doesn't try to sell you lots of product. How great is that? She cuts your hair dry, spraying a little water on it when she needs to, but you know it looks when she's done with it - is the way YOU can make it look, too. Whew. Found my new favorite hair place. Thanks, Vicki.

I also recently lost my old stylist and needed to find a new one. I went to Jennifer for a cut and balayage. When I arrived, there was another client who she was finishing up with. She had it timed perfectly so I never felt like I was waiting for her to finish something with the other person. I felt like she was very attentive to my comfort, checking on me to move foil around and out of my face. She is very easy to talk to, but also is comfortable with silence. I didn't feel like I had to keep chatting unless I wanted to. I really appreciated this quality as some stylists just make me feel exhausted when I leave from all the talking. She uses high quality products and her salon has a clean and modern design. I was actually comfortable at the sink when she washed my hair. Pretty much every salon sink I have ever used has given me a sore neck. I was and still am very happy with my hair. I seriously felt amazing when I walked out with the styling she did. The color looks perfect. The cut was exactly what I wanted. I also was impressed with her speed and accuracy. She seems to seriously know her craft. I highly recommend, and will definitely go back.

Trying to schedule a second cut has been a nightmare. They cancelled my first appointment because of a plumbing issue. Totally understandable. I rescheduled the next week. Cancelled again. This time, I only got the call 10 min before my appointment. No voicemail or email left before that. Super frustrating. I'm a full time student and also working about 30 hours/week outside of class. It's not easy for me to schedule a hair cut and every time I do, it's something I look forward to all week. Feels like I'm Charlie Brown and they're Lucy with the football.
