I also recently lost my old stylist and needed to find a new one. I went to Jennifer for a cut and balayage. When I arrived, there was another client who she was finishing up with. She had it timed perfectly so I never felt like I was waiting for her to finish something with the other person. I felt like she was very attentive to my comfort, checking on me to move foil around and out of my face. She is very easy to talk to, but also is comfortable with silence. I didn't feel like I had to keep chatting unless I wanted to. I really appreciated this quality as some stylists just make me feel exhausted when I leave from all the talking. She uses high quality products and her salon has a clean and modern design. I was actually comfortable at the sink when she washed my hair. Pretty much every salon sink I have ever used has given me a sore neck. I was and still am very happy with my hair. I seriously felt amazing when I walked out with the styling she did. I don't trust many people with mine because it's taken me a long time to grow it out and take care of it, but he was the first person to cut it after two years of no trims, and I've been coming back every three months ever since. My hair has never felt better. I also brought my mom once, she wanted a short haircut, but Cameron made a better recommendation based on her face shape, and it turned out amazing. She left feeling so confident and beautiful! I've also been doing the strengthening treatment with my cuts, and it's made my hair noticeably healthier and shinier. This time around, I came in for a trim and a Keratin Express treatment, and the results were wowwwww. With all the rain lately, I usually get a ton of frizz, but this treatment actually works and is totally worth the hype. I also picked up a few products Cameron recommended including a mousse, an anti‑frizz serum, and a thermic treatment. When she told me she was "going solo" I decided to follow her to her new studio because she always gives me a great cut (I have long, thick wavy red hair which can be a challenge) and blow-out. Angellena is very personable, friendly, and focussed on making her customer happy - I'm always pleased when she lets me know she will change or fix any styling she's done post-cut because she means it! Her studio at Sola is MUCH better than "that last place she was at." It's comfortable and she has a good selection of products to buy, and accepts credit cards using SquareSpace. I can't stress enough the compliments I get on my hair after Angellena has styled it - she says I have mermaid hair but if it wasn't for her I'd have sea witch hair (yes, that's a Little Mermaid reference)!
