This location is much larger than the one in Birmingham. As far as hair goes, it can be very hit or miss. I've had amazing blowout that have lasted days and I've had other blowout that it doesn't even look like I did anything to my hair. The customer service has always been absolutely amazing and the shop manager has always try to make everything right. If you are here for a photo shoot for an important event, I would recommend requesting a senior stylist. Overall, I'm fairly happy with another Drybar location in the area! The managers at both Drybar locations and the district manager have always been amazing.

I don't trust many people with mine because it's taken me a long time to grow it out and take care of it, but he was the first person to cut it after two years of no trims, and I've been coming back every three months ever since. My hair has never felt better. I also brought my mom once, she wanted a short haircut, but Cameron made a better recommendation based on her face shape, and it turned out amazing. She left feeling so confident and beautiful! I've also been doing the strengthening treatment with my cuts, and it's made my hair noticeably healthier and shinier. This time around, I came in for a trim and a Keratin Express treatment, and the results were wowwwww. With all the rain lately, I usually get a ton of frizz, but this treatment actually works and is totally worth the hype. I also picked up a few products Cameron recommended including a mousse, an anti‑frizz serum, and a thermic treatment. Full disclosure: I'm a Kérastase lover and have been using the brand for years, but I didn't know about these specific treatments. Now I'm obsessed. My hair feels so smooth, glowy, and healthy. Trying to schedule a second cut has been a nightmare. They cancelled my first appointment because of a plumbing issue. Totally understandable. I rescheduled the next week. Cancelled again. This time, I only got the call 10 min before my appointment. No voicemail or email left before that. Super frustrating. I'm a full time student and also working about 30 hours/week outside of class. It's not easy for me to schedule a hair cut and every time I do, it's something I look forward to all week. Feels like I'm Charlie Brown and they're Lucy with the football. It's just not gonna happen. Guess I'll try somewhere else next week.

When she told me she was "going solo" I decided to follow her to her new studio because she always gives me a great cut (I have long, thick wavy red hair which can be a challenge) and blow-out. Angellena is very personable, friendly, and focussed on making her customer happy - I'm always pleased when she lets me know she will change or fix any styling she's done post-cut because she means it! Her studio at Sola is MUCH better than "that last place she was at." It's comfortable and she has a good selection of products to buy, and accepts credit cards using SquareSpace. I can't stress enough the compliments I get on my hair after Angellena has styled it - she says I have mermaid hair but if it wasn't for her I'd have sea witch hair (yes, that's a Little Mermaid reference)!
