The old owners were cool. But the newer owner who has owned it for a few years now doesn't know how to run a business. One time I went in to purchase DHEA and the lady says that they don't carry it anymore and that it is now illegal in California because it doesn't work. What??? So I walked across the parking lot and purchased my DHEA from CVS. When I told her about it later she changed her story. She said only GNC stopped carrying it. A large part of the time they don't have the product that I want because they have run out. C'mon get it together and stock your shelves. You know what products move quickly by now. read more

I went to the GNC store at Bayhill shopping center to return some items ordered online, and the guy said they will NOT accept any returns unless in store purchase! Alot of supp. stores have high markups. I knew that going in, I ran out of a few of my current supps and didn't want to wait till monday to pick some up at my normal supp store. Walked in asked for what I needed. The main item i came in for normally 40-50 online. was 79.99 tagged as a sale item for 59 which i didnt mind paying for sheer conv. however once scanned it was "mistagged" for 69. They dont "price match" however there is a sign outside that said they did... The other supps i wouldve bought were decent however i was turned off badly by the service I walked out. I typically spend about 200-300 on supps a month. It was just a bad experience at this location read more
