Let me start off by saying your Woodland crew, all of them are exceptional and outstanding, there are no improvements needed. There are no "stupid questions" and they make you feel like they are your best friend and your part of the crew, from an enthusiastic greeting as you walk in the door, to another as you enter the show room. I cannot say enough. AYour selection is impeccable and vast as well. Now for ownership, that is another thing. The biggest beef and I am not the only one as I have heard from other customers as well. What is with the $5.00 atm fee? This is an absolute slap in the face to your customers, and I can only equate it to corporate greed. Your employees work so hard to make each shop into a "local neighborhood shop" and in seconds you kinda put a damper on that. Maybe I am missing something, and I do know there are fees at the bank involved. But let's do the math. First off, you do have expenses as all business does but the profity margin at dispensaries is already high. The price point you set is to remain profitable. The beef, is at 5$ per swipe, at a modest 100 transactions per day is approx 15 k pure profit. So that encourages cash only as your bank machine has fees as well. Let us talk about encouraging cash............hmmmmmm. I love getting "cash" as well. I get that. But your adding 5$ per trans is really soaking your clients. With almost everything being cashless or cashless encouraged it almost feels like a trap. You have gone so far even as to switch out to a new debit system and "forgot" to put the 5$ per transaction fee notice back on the customer terminal so if the employee forgets to mention it you don't even know about it. Now I have heard other businesses charging this heavy fee but instead of being greedy they put it into their employees. Retirement funds, medical and health coverage or yearly bonuses etc. I know you have reward programs etc. and are a great business. I def may have it all wrong, but I have heard people really complain and with so many other dispensaries around, a switch is easy. I love your shop but this just leaves a bad taste. Like I said I am mostly uninformed and maybe totally wrong but with everything being so expensive do we really need such a high fee. The 1% give to the community is a start too. If I could rate negative stars, I WOULD! I ordered online knowing it will save me some time. I've ordered online before, I would go to the pick up window and was in & out. This time, I was made to wait in line to check in. Then after the long wait to check in, I was asked to move over to the pick up window and she'll be right over to get my order. But the girl just started helping the next person in line. WTF! She was not finished helping me! I will never shop at Embarc locations again. I recently purchased a Stizzly battery which was defective. This has happened before because Embarc pushes cheap merchandise. The manager remarked that it was only $30 what do you expect. I expect it to work. Anyway I returned defective battery and got second Stizzly battery. Took it home and charged it. Doesn't work. Went back to Embarc for third time in less than 24 hour. Now if I was healthy it wouldn't be a problem but I am sick and it takes a lot for me to go out. I accidentally dropped a Stizzly pod on counter and the manager freaked out. She yelled at me to pick it up. I told her no you get it. She said sir you're starting to make me uncomfortable and I said this is the third time coming here for defective merchandise and I am sick. The manager could care less of how sick I am. She said sir you can never come here again and no refund. Cops were called and 5 cop cars showed up. 5 cops had to waste their time because of a thick skulled manager who was on a power trip. The manager refused to give the cop the money and I lost my money to Embarc. I won't be going back to Embarc and I was a good customer spending $400 a month. $4800 a year I save not going to Shitbarc again. *Attention Manager* I live literally a block away from this dispensary and come here often. The staff is usually great, and I've become pretty familiar with a few of them over time. There's one employee in particular I want to recognize. Michelle, she is always incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and full of positive energy. She consistently makes the experience better and always tries to find the best deals. Today, she helped me with my order and got genuinely excited about the deal she was able to give me. It was such good vibes and felt like she truly cared. Unfortunately, something happened that really bothered me. A heavier set male employee with green hair reacted to her excitement in a way that felt very rude and unnecessary. He startled her and spoke to her harshly, and it was enough to visibly bring her to tears in front of me and another customer. As someone standing there watching this happen, it was uncomfortable and honestly upsetting. She was simply being kind and enthusiastic, which is something that should be appreciated, not shut down. I'm sharing this because I genuinely enjoy coming here, and I think she is a huge asset to your team. It hurt to see someone who consistently brings such good energy treated that way. I hope management can look into this and ensure that staff feel respected and supported, especially employees who clearly care about customers and the experience they create. Love this spot!! Honestly don't understand the rating as it's a super chill location across the board. The staff are really friendly from security to the budtenders and everyone behind the counter is very knowledgeable. The prices are great and the new member discounts were amazing. I think people may just be salty about the parking lot being small lol but I've literally never had a problem with it. This place has a shady set up when it comes to pricing. They charge 40% over the asking price for the flower. When I sought clarification on the taxes, the bud tenders got passive-aggressive and tried to dismiss me from the building and brought in security. Traditional pre roll $12 but after taxes $16.50 ? Major problem is that the tenders will not explain the fees or update the accurate price on the flower. Guarantee this place will close earlier than expected. Bud tenders stated "it's not my problem". Unprofessional service on (07-23-2025) in the afternoon. Similar to every dispensary removing 1 gram options on flower, every dispensary has adjusted their menus to reflect prices after tax.
