Exceptionally caring service, beautifully curated offerings, pleasant layout. Our favorite market.

I love Oceana market for the wide choice of organic produce and hot food table . Disappointed though . We've been buying Newmans own lime aid and lemon aid in cardboard milk like cartons . They moved the juice fridge in the remodel and now they only offer lemon and lime aid in plastic containers. We hate plastic !. Please bring Newmans back . read more

Why isn't this market FIVE STARS?!?!?? Context. I have lived in Pacifica all of my life; even graduated from Oceana. NEVER, in my 58 years, have I been here. Well, that ended today. You would have sworn someone just bought me an Aston Martin. I was that excited by this place. It's like Lunardi's or Whole Foods. I got the chili...I CAN'T WAIT TIL TOMORROW TO GO GET SOME MORE!!! Then the beets It's clean, veggies/fruits are fresh. Even though it's Lunardi's adjacent, you're not paying Lunardi prices. I am NEVER setting foot in the two raggedy ass Safeways (Fairmont & Pacific Manor) . They NEVER stock up, and fruit look like they were picked up off of the road. And kudos to the young man that made my sandwich. He was slow as shit. So much so, I literally shopped, finished, and he was still making my sandwich But, he was polite & personable. read more

This used to be my go to store that I loved ... then in the past two years they have systematically failed in their deli, failed in their bakery, failed in their buffet, failed in their produce, and I just don't think they can take much more failure. The two bright spots are the supplement section and a new floral shop... which rent space from Oceana and are not actually part of the store. So the only remaining good parts of the store are the ones that are not managed by whoever manages Oceana read more

Excellent natural grocery store, especially for their local beer selections! I also like their deli sandwiches, all more to order. If there is a custom request, the folks behind the counter do their best to accommodate. The hot deli is nice when looking for something ready and convenient. But really, the star for me is the deli sandwiches! read more

I was so impressed by this immaculate and inviting market on my first visit a few weeks ago that I planned this past weekend's errands around it so that I could return as soon as possible. On this second trip I made sure to go up and down each aisle so that I could ooh and aah at all the fun, interesting, and tempting things. They carry an impressive array of imported items in various spots around the store, as well as a great selection of plant-based products. There are over three aisles of pet supplies, and an adjacent area with gifts, party supplies, and pretty things for the home. You could easily pull together a fabulous hostess (or any) gift in a single stop. The primary reason for my return visit, though, was the produce. Everything is so fresh and beautiful and displayed with obvious care. Although the store as a whole could potentially be a bit too pricey for my weekly big shopping, there are certain things that are actually less expensive here than at Safeway. One example right now would be their perfectly sweet, dark cherries, which are dollars less per pound than Safeway's. However, if I need canned beans and paper products, Safeway will be the more economical option. I foresee Oceana forming a triad with Trader Joe's and Safeway to cover all my shopping needs, with Oceana being the first stop for that perfect produce. read more

Oceana Market is a great neighborhood grocery store with incredibly fresh food and a surprisingly impressive selection. Their beer, wine, and liquor section is one of the best around, and the cheese department is fantastic- there's always someone knowledgeable working there who can make solid recommendations. The produce is consistently fresh and delicious, and the hot bar and deli offer a lot of great options. We often grab the chicken parm and reheat it at home- it's always a win. That said, the prices here are definitely on the higher side. Because of that, we try not to do full grocery hauls and stick to specific items we know are worth it. The store itself is well-organized, always stocked, and easy to navigate. Customer service is consistently good, and the overall shopping experience feels clean and well-managed. If you're looking for quality and don't mind paying a premium, Oceana Market delivers. read more

Oceana Market is a fantastic locally owned grocery store not only do they have great organic produce and goods, they also carry local favorites like Small Batch Jam Co and Rosalind Bakery. Miguel the store manager is also very responsive to feedback and considers carrying new products that customers recommend. read more

An interesting and super posh store, where I could find a small bag of authentic imported Swedish fish in Elderberry flavor for $7.99, but also get a breakfast burrito and reasonably priced can of cold Diet Coke ($1.29). Bought all three, plus gluten-free Hobnobs imported from Ireland (8 biscuits for $8.99, oof, but bought 'em) and a slice of pumpkin bread for $5.79! So the prices are high, but the selection is so unique and fun. Plus you can buy normal food like a can of soup or a box of cereal. Some staff said hi, others didn't really indicate that they saw me or engaged when I said 'hello' and 'thank you' but overall the vibe was pleasant. Clean, organized. Smelled nice, except for the overpowering scents coming from the area of the store that was selling scented things, whoosh. read more

What an absolutely gorgeous store! I loved Oceana Market so much, I visited twice in my short Pacifica vacation. Compare this place to a Whole Foods or a Sprouts- but somehow better? They have a hot bar, a beautiful deli, delicious house made desserts, and absolutely insane beer selection, and so much more. The deli workers, stockers, and cashiers were all incredibly friendly and helpful. My favorite purchases from here included some gourmet cheeses from their large fresh cheese selection, the scrumptious cakes and pastries including the Carrot Cake Bar, and a wonderful sour barrel aged beer. I would certainly be broke if I lived too close to this store, not to say the prices are high, they're just right on most items, but there is so much selection! If you're in Pacifica, ditch the Safeway and the Grocery Outlet or any other market, spend a bit extra and enjoy the quality experience you get here at Oceana market! read more

Our local market. Excellent quality and always upgrading. The owner Vasu has contributed much to the community as well.

Nice store when you get good customer service. You will need to ask the right person, otherwise you might get ignored when they're chatting with each other (at the deli). They see you and they might make you wait or ignore you. Otherwise, great store produce, etc. read more

I like so many things about Oceana Market. It is a great place to shop for pet food, vegetables, fruit, meat etc. We frequently order sandwiches from the deli to take home. The market has prepared hot and cold food that looks delicious. It is easy to find and plenty of parking is available. read more

Some things that really stood out to me here were the deli counter. Seriously one of the nicest deli counters I've seen. So many options including both the typical cuts of beef, chicken and seafood and more specialty items like rabbit, venison, and veal. As my cheese consumption has been a bit out of control lately I had to forgo the cheese counter, but there was a wide selection there, as well as free samples. The wine section is also very solid. It was well organized and I was pleasantly surprised to see some varieties of wine that I'm usually hard pressed to find in typical super markets. Staff members were quite helpful and knowledgeable, at the deli, wine, and health sections. (Yes, I'm needy) All in all a very solid shopping experience. In the end I left with everything I needed and many things I didn't. So honestly a win win. read more

I've shopped here once. It seems like the best grocery store in the area. I'll shop here whenever I can.

Oceana Market has the best cashier in the world. His name is Fernando, and he validates every single customer he comes into contact with. Seriously. It's like Fernando's agenda is to make people feel good about themselves. Are you excited about something? Fernando will match your excitement. Are you feeling down? Fernando will lift your spirits. This cashier loves people, and his constant good vibes really set the tone at Oceana Market. read more

It's giving Whole Foods pre-Amazon buy-out vibes! There's a markup, but comes with the aesthetic. Cute gift section and beauty section for last minute gifts for coastal granola friends. Cheese and desserts selection are yummy. Lots of interesting little niche brands like fluoride free, lead free kids toothpaste (lookup lead toothpaste study by leadfreemama), and random chips. I don't do my regular shopping here but come when I need a specialty item or gift. Grateful little ole Pacifica has a market with such personality. read more

Cute grocery store, probably one of my favorites! The aisles are well stocked, had an abundance of celiac-safe food products. Produce is fresh and of great quality too! A staff member heard me comment on their selection of chips, and even offered to take note of which ones I liked so they could stock it for next time! Conveniently near the beach, so please make sure to stop here next time you come for snacks, preparing your dinner, or wanting to give your eyes a treat! read more

Friendly staff, wonderful assortment of regular and gluten-free salads. Pete's Coffee inside is an added value bonus!

New favorite sandwich spot! Fresh and delicious. Also this market is super cute and has a lot of cool things in here. Definitely going back

I love this place. Especially the sandwiches with house turkey, and the house made hot beef/venison jerky. If I had one request, it would be to have more whole wheat pasta options, not that they don't have more than most places already. read more

This is a nice little neighborhood market that feels like a small Whole Foods. They stock some specialty items and harder to find items that you don't usually find at your average Safeway. Yes, the prices are higher than Safeway. However this market is not much different from Whole Foods; Oceana offers many similar unique and high quality items you'd find at Whole Foods. The staff is the difference here. They're more friendly here than the ones at Whole Foods. The bakery department is my favorite. This is where I come to pick up Palo Alto Baking Company tarts. There's a nice wine and cheese selection, too. Stop by here when you're building your charcuterie board. Parking is never a problem at this location. read more

Pacifica's best market. I prefer to shop local and Oceana Market is always a solid choice. Excellent produce. Excellent deli and butcher and frozen food selection. I get my ROsalind bakery bread here. Wide variety for dairy items (cheese selection is amazing). Excellent GF options and international food items ( i can get my favorite english tea here) and I enjoy their wine recommendations. And, of course, Fernando (cashier) is a positive force of nature! read more

Clean, neat, organized store in Pacifica. The store is very close to the beach so you can grab some premade food and take it with you to picnic. it's giving Whole Foods vibe at a smaller scale. You can also find other items for your home or local products that you can gift. read more

This market was pretty cool, they had a lot of unique items Ive been looking for. We cane here to visit my wife's cousins and they found onion-free salsa because I have an allium allergy. I bought every one I could find. The market building itself was a bit weird, there was no sign and i had no idea it was a market if not for our cousins m. Still they had a nice wine selection, lots of cool cheese, crumpets which were locally made, and of course the salsa. Will come again when in area. read more

Road trippin' with my two favorite allies Fully loaded we got snacks and supplies ---Red Hot Chili Peppers Work hard, play hard. Went to Santa Cruz today with a friend. Coming home we stopped at the Oceana Market to re-fuel. They had no hummus for sandwiches which was a bummer and no tofu and no tempeh for sandwiches. So basically only vegan sandwich option was avocado, mustard or veggies which would have been boring. I opted to get some items from the cold bar. Dolma, Vegan Kale Waldorf salad, and tasty tofu farfalle aka pasta, tofu, veggies, and peanut butter. All in all was quite alright and perhaps better than a sandwich. Good option for food on the road in the area. read more

First just let me say that I am still so thankful to have this awesome market in our coastal community. I'm wondering what is going on with the hot table . The menu has been recently changed but the table rarely matches the menu. One example. Menu states that Turkey, gravy , and mashed potatoes available on Sundays ( no more stuffing , SAD ). We planned on having it for Sunday night dinner so drove over there only to find that said items were not on the table . Staff had no clue why and in fact didn't know that said items were supposed to be offered. Hope that they can pull it together please . On a happier note , compostable produce bags are back . HOORAY ! read more

Just don't get their mayo-based salads. Shrimp salad was so over-salted, and the sesame noodle salad was over-seasoned and soggy when I got it at noon. Both were about half mayonnaise, really lousy. I wouldn't have given them any of my money if I realized they're selling veal. I don't support that. read more

Oceana Market is the best local grocery store and I am so thankful for them existing and serving our community. They have an INCREDIBLE meat and cheese department, great liquor and beer selection, and a super friendly welcoming staff. Really recommend their tri-tips - they have been incredible especially the Blackened Tri Tip. :) read more

The hot bar has had the worse decline. For some reason, I can not determine, the quality and choice is gone. That's not to say it can't have good day now and then if you are lucky. I suspect someone else is in charge of the choices and prep. I can't take it anymore. I have written management over the last year. But the are still failing and I don't like saying this. I still love the store overall, but the food bar has lost it's appeal and quality. One more thing, they make an in house breakfast sausage that use to be good, but someone has a heavy hand on the salt. It ruined the sausge. read more

Wow! Great produce and meat here. This is the kind of store that has everything from dog food to food containers. It's the kind of store that I can spend some time in. Think Standard Five & Ten meets Bi-Rite. There are marinated meats in the counter. There is a great selection of meats, prepared foods, desserts. The only thing I have to gripe about is that it's far, but if I'm in the area...the greatest thing about this store is that there's a Pete's Coffee read more
