I kept sneaking back to grab more from my fridge all day long. I also had the spinach pie (with the long Greek name I never spell correctly) and it was good. It had a bit more of a sour flavor to it than I'm used to (lemon juice used somewhere?), but the phyllo dough was crispy, and there was an abundance of spinach, and the piece was huge. No complaints. I must say I am soooooo happy that I have finally found organic natural nail polish. At Mom's! I have a medical condition that prevents me from using traditional nail polish and I could only find natural ones online, until today! What a relief I can actually buy nail polish here and they had a good selection of colors. Also, I recently had a massage and noticed the essential oils used were Mom's brand. I excitedly bought rosemary and lavender oils today for a very reasonable price. Usually, oils are expensive, but two standard size bottles here cost me under $20, plus they have quite a few coconut oils to use as a base. Great store for finding organic and more plant-based foods and health products, nice employees and easy parking.

As he did so, he pulled one and gave it to the gentlemen (white) and then pulled another and saw me and did not give me one. Im not one that take much or is moved by race activity, but this moved me in such a way. I merely walked up waited to get a cart but this white gentleman did not give me the same courtesy/customer friendly service as he provided to the white male. Then looked at me like I was an issue and walked away back into the store. I then got a cart and proceeded into the store to get the couple items on my list. I checked out and noticed that a bag is $.20. I would not had gotten a bag for the couple of items if the $.20 fee was posted. I did utilize the Amazon return kiosk this visit which was without frustration or wait. Easy and I was out in about 3 minutes total. I shopped the lowered level, looking to purchase the cut watermelon, in which Ive found to be great from Whole Foods. However, today they only had 2 very tiny cutlets of watermelon (not even a quarter of a whole watermelon) for $3 each. I did find that they had whole watermelons for $6.99 on sale and I grabbed one. With this being Memorial Day weekend, but a nasty rainy day, it was very quiet and calming shopping and checking out experience. Parking is free if you make a purchase, as a validation slip to use at exit to the garage will be provided. If you have patience for the entering and exiting of the garage, you will find this store to be a great choice. Happy shopping.

The owners Meaghan and Shane opened this in 2022 on York road and it's just a delightful experience. I don't make it out here very often but it's a great place to eat food they feels good and to support a local business. The prices aren't cheap but it's worth it for the quality. My favorite is the super chicken (I always order this) and for a drink the house paw paw soda it's made with the native fruit paw paw (do research on this it's amazing) that they make into a vinegary shrub with soda water. It's so yummy. The quality shines here as well as the light airy high ceiling interior and the plants. This is a must visit and honestly a little slept on. We discovered their kombucha at a farmers market in Washington, DC and liked it enough to make another trip from NYC to Baltimore, so we could try all the flavors. They are serving "real" kombucha - complete with all-natural effervescence - and every flavor truly impressed us. They range from superfood-forward classics like ginger and turmeric to fun seasonals like smoked pineapple to mind-blowing botanical mashups like hibiscus/mint/linden flower. They described them as "guzzleable," and let's just say we guzzled! They have an equally impressive lineup of house fermented veggies that are all unique. We loved the extra spicy kimchi and the green tomato ferment. Their food menu is a colorful and creative celebration of all their homemade and locally sourced fermented and other food items. There were plenty of vegan options. We loved the Hex Powerhouse sandwich (packed with veggies!!) and the mushroom kimchi sandwich, both served on their homemade focaccia. We really loved the food and drinks and the great service from Hunter who walked us through the menu, kept our glasses full, and even let us try some off-menu ferments. We can't wait to come back!
