Mom's upon entering is a very clean organized store. I did see some unique items such as peanut butter churning machine, etc. The staff was sprinkled throughout the store, stocking and restocking. The pricing is a bit higher however expected for a more organic supermarket. They do have sale items and a store card isn't needed. The checkout flow is smooth and the associates are courteous and efficient. The pricing was a bit too high for me for every day grocery shopping however I will return for certain items, it was a pleasant experience.

What I love about Jasmine's Smoothie World is that it is conveniently located in White Marsh Mall…read moreand is only a five minute walk from my part-time job in that same mall. On my breaks I love to run over and get a lemon smoothie and add vanilla protein. I pay about $4, which is a better price than the $6 I would pay for a smaller protein shake at Bally's. I only give them three stars because I have tried to get this lemon smoothie with vanilla protein two times before the employees would actually let me have it. Yes, I said "let me". The first time, the man working the counter told me that the lemon does not mix well with the vanilla and suggested I try something else. I gave in and let him talk me into a strawberry smoothie. I went again a couple weeks later and the woman behind the counter also told me that vanilla and lemon would not be a good combination. The next time I went and again asked for a lemon smoothie with vanilla protein, that same man that was there the first time told me again that it would not taste good and tried to persuade me to try something else. I told him that I would really like to have vanilla with lemon and I will pay for it even if I didn't like it. He gave in and made me the shake I had been craving for so long! I made him try it. We both loved it. SUCCESS! (If you are wondering, it tastes like key lime. So if you like key lime, I suggest this combination. You have to insist that this is really what you want.) Now when I walk up to the stand, they know what I want ;)

While I can appreciate that this is a chain and there should be some consistency across the board, I do feel this location consistently gets it right when it comes to the flavor mixes. I've had ones at other stands where there's not enough flavor or worse yet too much powder (eek!) But I always get the perfect blend here. Plus, I have yet to have tapioca pearls here that are still crunchy in the middle. So two thumbs up from me!

Within a few weeks/month the quality changed, chicken wasn't cooked or cut the same, it was now massive hunks, not nice slices (is that a huge deal, no but it was one thing among many) the seasoning/saucing became inconsistent sometimes being barely enough to even taste it, some weeks you would have more rice, other weeks you would have less, I'm ordering for portions to be controlled and protein/carb/fat balance to be controlled, so if its inconsistent it matters. A few times I got the wrong flavors/items completely, it was all over the place.

There were three other registers that weren't open I would have thought on a day where it was so packed that they would have opened all five. As soon as I got up to the register they opened up the other three and I'm thinking why did they wait so long. Aside from having to wait in line so long to check out, it was easy to find what I needed here even though I've never been to this Aldi location before. I was passing through on my way somewhere else and stopped to pick up the necessary groceries. I love the selection and found what I needed pretty easily. I also found things I didn't need but wanted and it made for an easy shopping trip. I would likely come back here again if I were in the area. Highly recommend with the exception of the lengthy wait time to check out.
