One of the best dessert I had ever eaten in my life...straight up! We went to 14th St Market to get some! It's insane how I've never been into pudding but this blew me away...so good! I wish I can eat this everyday! It's based in Oakland! I'm from San Jose. I wish I can eat it more often! Will be getting more soon hopefully! Super good! The crunch part is sweet and crunchy. The pudding is banana and beyond good. So good.

This banana pudding is the best I've ever had and I'm going to go ahead and say it's one of the best desserts I've had also. I love how the owner put his own twist and truly made it his own. The crumble, the texture, the layers of banana, cookies, and pudding... Just wow... I ended up devouring mine. Not only is the product amazing, but the owner is very down to earth and kind. Check G'nana Puddin out, you will not be disappointed! I'm ordering for the holidays to show my family that this banana pudding IS IT!

One of my favorite desserts ever. G'nana Pudding is a pop up that does banana pudding. I'm usually not a fan of pudding, but banana pudding is so unique. It's pudding with crust. The presentation is just beautiful. There is a crust layered on top. There is pudding below that. In the pudding itself, there are also crust and bread-like pieces. There is also banana. The overall taste is sweet, but not overpowering. The quality is superb. This dessert is next level. Contact G'Nana Pudding on Instagram/DM. The guy that runs it also drops it off at Smokin Woods BBQ or 14th Street Market in Oakland.

Im not a big pudding person but a friend told me about Gnana so I decided to reach out and try it myself. I talked to Greg and he was very responsive and set up a time to meet me for a drop off in Oakland . I am blown away this pudding is so delicious!! When I looked at it I thought it would be okay but after I tasted it omg best pudding I've had! I'll def get it again.

Best Banana Pudding I have ever had. I have ordered a few more times and all my family members also loved it. Highly recommend it.

But, my boss orders us food from Fenton's via Doordash to be delivered to our Oakland office from time to time. Last several times in a row, it's been pretty dang bad, (the potato chips always taste fishy!) but today (8/5/26) it was literally garbage. We had 2 egg salad sandwiches and a jalapeno burger, plus two milkshakes. The egg salad sandwiches had to be straight up tossed out. Just not edible. The egg salad was sooo watery, it was like a soup. Just dripping and running down out of the bread. Also, a HEAVY mustard taste, overpowering everything else. The burger had a piece of something (literally) translucent on it, apparently their idea of a slice of cheese? And the accompanying fries were COLD. The toasted almond milkshake was so runny it was like a flavored water. Not at all a creamy consistency, I don't even think they made it with milk, it seemed to be just a tiny bit of ice cream, some water and a lot of ice cubes (still visible in the shake). Just nasty. The other milkshake seemed ok. Of course, with the order being from DoorDash, it's near-impossible to get any real support, so it's just basically a total loss. I don't know if Fenton's just doesn't GAF, since they're always busy anyways, OR if they need to pay their employees more in order to attract the sort of person who's capable of being trained to care to do things correctly, but it's just really a bummer that such a neat, fun, old legacy business is allowing itself to disappoint customers and turn into a big mess like this. Sad.

The beef rib had me the most excited. Unfortunately it was the biggest disappointment. I paid $60 for it and it had no meat at all. It was all fat. Honestly why even serve that to a customer. When i saw it on their social media posts I was expecting a meaty beef rib. For something that is pricey they should have atleast asked me if I wanted that specific cut. For that I will have to give them 3 stars.

The eclectic menu is just one expression of Ben's passion for this place. It has the things he loves to make and share, and new items come up all the time, as he experiments with new items. I can't touch all of them but I can tell you that the Big Three don't miss. Get yourself a brisket sandwich (on the pillowy challah roll) with a latke on the side (served with *both* sour cream and apple sauce) and a cheesecake for dessert (def start with the ube flavored one). Each one is well executed, but more important than any flavor is the care that goes into them. You sense that Ben wanted to get the crisp on the latkes just so, before sharing them with the town. The space itself is a big part of the joy as well. If you had your own shop, what would you paint on the walls? Murals of anime characters cover the place, and there is a pull-down screen for karaoke nights. Because there are some passionate customers too! Really an amazing chef and restaurant. We are lucky to have them serving up whatever comes to mind next.

It's small and clean inside 5/5, and the staff was patient & informative, plus they heated up my sandwich, which I didn't ask for but it was nice 5/5. Now onto the pastries.. the coconut was so thick, light, and creamy and surprisingly backed with flavor 4.8/5, the mango was phenomenal! The fruit inside was so fresh, and well cooked, and the cream inside was a light addition 4.9/5, the pistachio (even though I was crazy excited about it) was just okay. The pistachio flavor was strong enough, but I just felt it could've been better executed when you're offering options like mango and coconut, 3/5. The apple fritter style pastries was definitely my favorite out of them all. The outside was so buttery and flakey, and the apple filling wasn't overly sweet with a slight tart hint that really put it over the top for me, absolute perfection 4.9/5. The Calamansi Jasmine tea was a delightful little addition to my eats. It was more jasmine flavored than anything, but that's also one of my favorite tea flavors so I may be biased, but either way 4.5/5. Overall, I rate this place a 4.6/5!

Great location under the new modern apartment complexes and across from Flour and Water. Free street parking if you can snag one! The rest of the display had their beautiful uniquely shaped fruit and veggie shaped desserts - I'll have to try one next time.
