One of the best dessert I had ever eaten in my life...straight up! We went to 14th St Market to get some! It's insane how I've never been into pudding but this blew me away...so good! I wish I can eat this everyday! It's based in Oakland! I'm from San Jose. I wish I can eat it more often! Will be getting more soon hopefully! Super good! The crunch part is sweet and crunchy. The pudding is banana and beyond good. So good.

This banana pudding is the best I've ever had and I'm going to go ahead and say it's one of the best desserts I've had also. I love how the owner put his own twist and truly made it his own. The crumble, the texture, the layers of banana, cookies, and pudding... Just wow... I ended up devouring mine. Not only is the product amazing, but the owner is very down to earth and kind. Check G'nana Puddin out, you will not be disappointed! I'm ordering for the holidays to show my family that this banana pudding IS IT!

One of my favorite desserts ever. G'nana Pudding is a pop up that does banana pudding. I'm usually not a fan of pudding, but banana pudding is so unique. It's pudding with crust. The presentation is just beautiful. There is a crust layered on top. There is pudding below that. In the pudding itself, there are also crust and bread-like pieces. There is also banana. The overall taste is sweet, but not overpowering. The quality is superb. This dessert is next level. Contact G'Nana Pudding on Instagram/DM. The guy that runs it also drops it off at Smokin Woods BBQ or 14th Street Market in Oakland.

Im not a big pudding person but a friend told me about Gnana so I decided to reach out and try it myself. I talked to Greg and he was very responsive and set up a time to meet me for a drop off in Oakland . I am blown away this pudding is so delicious!! When I looked at it I thought it would be okay but after I tasted it omg best pudding I've had! I'll def get it again.

Best Banana Pudding I have ever had. I have ordered a few more times and all my family members also loved it. Highly recommend it.

We planned to get a burger or Philly cheesesteak sandwich but $19 is way too expensive! It is impossible to have a conversation because the acoustics are terrible. Menu is quite extensive, filled with homey family friendly diner foods and their ice cream sundaes are wonderful. You can choose from all their flavors and customize your own or select from their signature sundaes and milk shakes. As for milkshakes, you can ask for with or without whip cream and either way, it's with any flavor of your choosing. So we had mocha royal, our fav! Definitely did not disappoint! Yum! Both crab and tuna sandwiches are prepared in SF sourdough breads. We loved how the buttered sour dough bread slices were grilled to bring out the best in the fillings. Crunchy toasty exterior but chewy with fillings of either crab or tuna - these sandwiches are just the right size and ... ah to die for! Service was friendly and as attentive as expected mid-day. The ambiance is that of retro feel-good cheerful lemon yellow grandma vibe, but it's got that pop groovy feel as well. Sundaes&milkshakes&grilled sandwiches&fries!! It's a decadent reward, meetups or birthday celebrations or just because... we deserve this kind of Americana diner experience from time to time. It's a delightful place worth coming back to !

Friendly, helpful service. The person ahead of me ordered a double scoop and it looked so good I wanted my own, but knew I had to wait until later. Anyway, the scoops were quite large and the customer looked quite happy. I tried the two limited edition flavors. Ube and a Sri-nidadian Coco Cocoa, an upgraded version of a similar flavor they have had before. Well, the new and improved version of the Coco (coconut) Cocoa is DELICIOUS! Luckily on my return after dinner there was enough to make a pint! Whew! The shop is small so no dining inside, but there's some seating outside. I planned ahead and had my cooler and ice pack ready to take my pint home!

I just visited their Oakland location, which is a cute, clean, and cozy spot right on the corner. It is an absolute paradise because everything here is 100% vegan, from the ice cream to the baked goods, so you can order entirely stress free. We were helped super fast by a really nice worker who let my friend and I try a couple of samples. I ended up getting the Caramel Almond Crunch paired with a brownie to make a custom brownie à la mode, and it was absolutely divine. The brownie wasn't overly sweet, which I loved, and it paired beautifully with the smoky sweetness and nuttiness of the ice cream. Every single bite was bursting with flavor. I also tried the Lemon Crème for the first time off my friend's order, and it completely blew me away. I'm usually not a fan of lemon ice cream, but this one takes the cake; the lemon isn't overpowering at all, but rather perfectly infused with a vanilla flavor. It tastes exactly like a balanced mix of vanilla and lemon ice cream, giving major lemon shortcake vibes. If you want a clean, indulgent, and incredibly delicious plant based treat, this place is it.

Jamie W and I decided to pay a visit after our gym workout because we figured we could reward ourselves for breaking a sweat. Arriving in the last hour before closing, we were happily anticipatory that their display case was still well stocked. It was no surprise how gorgeous it was. We had seen the Instagram photos of the visually striking, trompe l'oeil "fruit" pastries (Photo 6). They were indeed mini-works of art with thin, white-chocolate shells that easily crack open to reveal appropriately sweet fillings. We limited ourselves to four items because we didn't want to get carried away...literally. Besides, they weren't cheap. Our priciest item was the $14.50 Peanut shaped like a giant peanut shell and filled with a light peanut butter mousse. There was also a strawberry gelee and a crisp peanut butter wafer that helped reflect the intended PBJ concept. It was just a bit sweet for me. The second item, the $12 Coconut, was my favorite. It was designed to look like a perfectly cracked open coconut with the outer hull made of textured milk chocolate and the "meat" made of white chocolate (Photo 7). The macapuno entremet core reflected co-owner Monique Feybasse's Filipino background. It consisted of coconut whipped cream mousse freckled with macapuno and coconut shavings, and a chocolate coconut sponge cake. The entirety was a true tropical experience. The $8.50 Pistachio Eclair was the most straightforward of the quartet with a golden pate-a-choux shell, pistachio pastry cream with a matcha-like powder, and chopped pistachios (Photo 10). The basic approach taken was enhanced by the quality of the execution. The $4.50 Madeleine was a comparative bargain and quite a treat, providing a soft-crumbed sponge cake covered in a pistachio coating shaped like a seashell (Photo 9). Monique and her husband Paul clearly know what they're doing, having extensive experience in Michelin-starred restaurants like the acclaimed Geranium in Copenhagen. On Sunday afternoon, there was a constant stream of customers, many of them regulars who knew exactly what to order. FOOD - 4 stars...craftsmanship and execution are aces, some satisfy more than others, also a bit pricey AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...crowded so hard to tell beyond the striking displays SERVICE - 4 stars...nice though necessarily transactional TOTAL - 4 stars...definitely an eyeful even more than a mouthful RELATED - Exploring Oakland? Came in on a Sunday night with a big group. The employee would forget which flavors we wanted and rudely asked for all of us (who already got our ice cream) to leave the space as it was getting too crowded. Fair ask, yes. The way it was delivered? Just rudely said with a bad tone too. I also got charged for my ice cream when one of my friends had already paid for mine in front of me. I went to have it reversed, and he was saying how my friend paid for 6 singles and I got a junior size then there was nothing to be reversed. If anything we paid twice and for the wrong size. I get that it may have been confusing especially with big groups and long lines but it could have been handled more professionally.
