Dipped at Bay Street Emeryville, right in the shopping center and easy to walk past but worth stopping for. Milk chocolate almond caramel apple was the move, fresh apple, caramel that doesn't pull the whole thing apart when you bite it, and they'll cut it for you which honestly should be standard everywhere. Chocolate covered strawberries are well made, not the waxy supermarket version, actual chocolate with real fruit inside. Dubai chocolate bar was on the menu too which is a nice touch. Staff is friendly and will let you look around without hovering. Good spot to duck into after shopping or before a movie, grab something sweet and be on your way read more

Customer service 10/10 she was very sweet and patient with me and my indecisive self changing my mind about the variety of cheesecakes I wanted, also provided insight with which flavor she enjoyed the most. We purchased : Guava cheesecake 9/10 Strawberry cheesecake 9/10 Cookie butter cheesecake 10/10 flavor on point, so creamy and delicious Dubai cheesecake 10/10 I love that the kataifi is crunchy still and it has the perfect layers of chocolate and kataifi - this would isn't edible with a spoon lol, you haven't to bite into it due to how hard the chocolate in the center is Cookie butter brownie 1000/10 omg to die for, so so delicious I highly recommend ! Sometimes this combination can be overwhelming with the heavy chocolate and cookie butter but this was suuuch a PERFECT balance, not too sweet, just perfect! I loved everything in my visit today and spent $38 for a 6 pack of cheesecakes , the brownie , and 1 water bottle Be sure to stop by on your next visit to Bay St! read more

If you're stopping by, the apples are definitely the highlight, just make sure to ask them to slice it for you. It makes the whole experience way easier (and honestly more enjoyable). I tried the s'mores one not really knowing what to expect, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise. The marshmallow had this light, fluffy texture that paired really nicely with the cookie crumble on top, it gave it just the right mix of soft and crunchy. One thing to keep in mind, these are best enjoyed fresh. Once you take them home and stick them in the fridge, the toppings can start to harden and the overall texture isn't quite the same. So if you can, dig in right away. The spot itself is easy to miss, it's tucked into a little nook along Bay Street, right across from Jars. Definitely worth seeking out if you're in the area. read more

**** Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookie **** Here for the *viral* trend in Korea? We went to Bay street on a whim so why not? Sadly, this rendition is not worth going out of your way for. At least to me. The Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookie is only available Friday-Sunday and is $7.75 each. Good crispy-creamy texture (toasted kataifi and pistachio cream) but no stretchy pull, nor chewy bite...the marshmallow exterior was like dry, stale playdough. The cocoa powder was not bitter enough so it was hella sweet compared to the ones from Korean bakeries. Their candied apples looked great tho and ideal gift of nostalgia for your loved ones! read more

I love caramel apples and I can't find many places that sell them. I finally got to stop by dipped while I was doing some shopping at Bay Street. I ordered the milk chocolate almond apple and they were nice enough to cut it for me. I also got the peppermint white chocolate rice krispy. The apple was $11 and rice Kristy was $4.25. With tip I paid about $17 something. Will definitely be coming back. read more

I made my way into Dipped 10 minutes before closing on a late Saturday night. No wait but when walking by earlier it was definitely busy! Dipped is such a fun and delicious spot for anyone with a sweet tooth! I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake dipped apple and it was incredible the perfect mix of creamy, fruity, and crunchy. The customer service was excellent! the staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome. As far as the ambiance it was clean with bold red walls and a playful mural. The space feels clean, modern, and inviting. I'll definitely be coming back to try more flavors! read more

Why not try a box of assorted dipped Oreos and assorted cheesecake cups? The matcha dipped Oreo. It was creamy and subtle and the color was very pretty. I'm glad they dipped it with enough chocolate-to-cookie ratio. The strawberry cheesecake was soft and perfection in a 3-bite size. read more

I love this little treat spot! I think it's the perfect grab-and-go place when you want something sweet after shopping or before a movie. I got the s'mores caramel apple and I really enjoyed it! I thought the marshmallow was a little bitter, but the overall s'mote flavor was very good with the milk chocolate & graham cracker. The staff member was very kind and cut up my apple for me! I recommend if you have a sweet tooth. read more

Loved my apple and cheesecake! That said, we did drop one of our apple outside the store, went in to ask if they could give us a new one and was told store policy only allows you to get a new one if you drop it inside the store. We were bummed out but understood! Employees were super kind and friendly! So I guess if you drop an apple make sure it's inside lol read more

This is a small shop with delicious dipped strawberries and caramel apples. The people working here are helpful and knowledgeable.

We love stopping at Dipped for a sweet treat! Their caramel apples are always fresh, tasty, and perfectly made. The staff is polite and friendly, which makes each visit easy and enjoyable. It's become a fun stop for my kids on the way home -- they get excited every time. Great local dessert spot if you're in the Bay Street area! read more

If you need a little treat on Bay Street - Dipped is definitely the way to go! I went a few times while staying nearby on a work trip and tried the "viral strawberries" and some cheesecake bites. The strawberries were delicious - fresh, sweet and cute. I watched another customer order them and then asked for half of the chocolate, only because it was an overwhelming amount! The chocolate begins to harden immediately, but it was such a tasty, indulgent treat. The cheesecake bites were fine - but I will try their chocolate covered rice krispy or a caramel apple next time! read more

This place is small and simple, plenty of treats available in the display case on a late Saturday afternoon. They were sold out of strawberry cups and trays, but they still had various dipped flavors of large strawberries (milk chocolate, cookies n cream, fruity cereal, and strawberry shortcake)... I kept it simple with the milk chocolate dip, and was not disappointed, it tasted fresh and made with quality and care (the chocolate shell didn't fall apart easily like some other cheaper versions of dipped strawberries). We also tried the chocolate covered pretzels (milk chocolate, milk chocolate toffee, and dark chocolate), the toffee and dark chocolate preferred. Service was patient, helpful, and instant, two workers behind the counter ready to help. We enjoyed our goodies at the bay break dining terrace seating upstairs while enjoying live music at Bay Street Emeryville. A bit pricey, but a good experience overall at Dipped. read more

When I saw that there was a store that offered dipped goods, I knew I had to try it out. The store is nestled amongst other stores in Bay Street. I ended up getting the cookies & cream cheesecake bite ($4), the dubai chocolate cheesecake bite ($6), and a cookies & cream dipped oreo ($3.25). The strawberries also looked good but I was already super full after lunch. I think all 3 treats were good but my favorite was the cookies & cream cheesecake bite (I am biased though since it's my favorite). I thought the dubai chocolate cheesecake bite was tasty, though I never tried the actual chocolate. The cookies & cream dipped oreo is probably the sweetest treat out of the 3, even for myself with the sweet tooth. However, it was expected, especially since all 3 are rich. The coating isn't too thick though. Definitely a treat yourself type of shop but there is likely something for everyone who is a sweets lover! read more

The service was wonderful and the food is delicious along with many options to choose from.

I definitely enjoyed my dipped strawberries. They were not too sweet, just right! They were delicious! I guess the best I've had. I'd definitely be back if they weren't so expensive. $14 for 6 dipped strawberries is more than I'd like to pay, like damn! Who made these princess Diana? Haha They had other goodies like dipped Oreos, dipped marshmallows, & mini cheesecake bites. If things were cheaper I would've tried almost everything. Anyways the customer service was great and the place is small, there were no tables to sit at, just in & out type of transaction. The end. read more

My 1st visit to Dipped & was enticed bc I saw the Candy Apple signage. There was a lot of other items like cheesecakes, dipped & decorated Oreo cookies that looked too beautiful to eat. My heart was leaning towards the Peanut covered Candy Apple so I brought that home to enjoy. My first bite was a nice crunchy peanut layer but there was no sweetness to the apple & it was a little smaller than what I've bought at other places. Thanks Dipped for the fond memories I have of eating a Candy Apple. read more

I've now been to this newly opened dipped location on Bay St. twice. It is conveniently located near one of the entrances to the apartments just above the Bay St. shopping area so I pass it very frequently. Parking in the area can be tricky - if you're lucky, you may find a spot on Bay St ; meters are $3/hour. Alternatively, you can park in the Bay St. garage, prices vary depending on length of stay but for reference 3 hours is $4.50. There are free electric vehicle chargers randomly throughout the garage as well. The employees at Dipped are nice and helpful. The dipped fruit looks yummy and is decorated/presented well. I got the same exact thing on both trips but the price seems to been slightly different the second time around (perhaps they increased price by - small amount?). Each trip I got two chocolate covered strawberries and a milk chocolate carmel apple with almonds. The staff will happily slice your apple for you but beware that the container won't close entirely due to the stick in the apple. Unfortunately on the second trip the strawberries were a bit mushy. The apples were good each time but did brown immediately upon being cut; tasted great tho. I would definitely return but likely just for the apples. read more

I got two apples with caramel only two strawberry cheesecake bites and a marshmallow stick rolled in fruity pebbles for $21. Caramel was great! I'm sad I couldn't get the classic caramel with nuts. Service was quick and friendly. I was offered the option to cut the apple. Cute little store on the main strip with parking on either side. There are some free 15 min spots if you go down and enter the parking garage. read more

Nice dessert place in Emeryville. They have chocolate covered strawberries, caramel apples, marshmallows, pretzels and more. It's a smaller place, so nowhere to really sit inside and eat. I haven't been to bay street in a while, and noticed this new Dipped place. I got suckered into all the delicious looking goodies in the window. The store is very minimal - everything is ordered on an ipad, so you don't really have any interactions with the people working there except for picking up your stuff. I ordered a s'mores caramel apple. I would have went HAM on this store if everything wasn't so expensive! The apple was already $10+ ... a plain caramel apple being like $8.95? At least it was delicious :) Next time when I'm feeling like ba$$in out, I'll try their other menu items. read more

What a fun place!!! You have to try the dipped strawberries here. They are large strawberries. Sometimes the larger ones can be flavorless, but they pick out good ones here that have lots of flavor. We got the traditional strawberries dipped in chocolate. The chocolate is dark in color but they put a little white heart in some white trim color. So classy. The strawberries also come in fruity cereal, strawberry shortcake, cookies n cream, and you can mix-and-match. As a kid I used to get caramel apples at the fair. They were simply apples dipped in caramel. Here they have the same product, except so much fancier. They all sorts of color and trim. read more

Me and my wife had their Dubai cheesecake and Dubai strawberry cup. They were def both good don't get me wrong but $16 for a small cup of strawberries is a little too high in my opinion compared to the other places I've had.
