They undertook a job to replace a polycarbonate roof on my conservatory with a Superlite Tiled Roof…read moreon the 14th Feb this year. They removed my 23ft x 14ft roof on Tuesday 15th in the height of Storm Dudley in the gales and heavy rain, leaving my conservatory vulnerable to the horrendous weather. My laminate floor had been covered but no amount of covering could have protected it from the rain which was falling. I returned home at 3pm that day and my kitchen was flooded (I have an archway from my conservatory to my kitchen) so I knew my floor would have been compromised. On Wednesday 16th I asked the lads to lift the protective covering to check my floor, they did reluctantly, and as I knew my flooring was flooded. It had been flooded for 24 hours so I knew it would be ruined. I insisted they take all protective coveting up so as my floor could dry. The week just went from bad to worse, by Friday, Storm Eunice arrived and as I had no leading on the roof water flooded in again. The lads arrived at 8 and tried to stop the leaking. The gales became so bad for them, they left the job at 2pm and travelled back to Milton Keynes. Over the weekend I assessed the water damage. My floor was ruined, a newly plaster wall had cracked in a jigsaw pattern due to getting soaked, and some internal cladding had been damaged when my original roofing had been removed, obviously as the lads had been rushing in the horrendous weather. Monday arrived and I pointed out all the damage which was relayed to John Cox, the projects manager, who sent me a pompous, arrogant email in return. Stating that much of the damage may have been there prior to his lads starting the job and he basically accepted no responsibility to any of the damage. He did though, begrudgingly replace the cladding and the plasterer sorted out the wall. Meanwhile the lads continued with the roof, fitted my guttering and downpipes, breaking an outside drainpipe - by this point I didn't even bother to mention it! I darent! It was everything they touched they damaged, I was at my wits end!! On Friday last week, they finally finished - 2 weeks after they started the job, 2 weeks of hell for me! John Cox came over for the clean up. I approached him regarding my ruined flooring - tried to reach a compromise as to what to do, but he states it has to go to his insurers. I'm left with laminate curling up at the ends, a danger to my 3 dogs paws as they're running in and out. I don't know how wet it is underneath and it's only chipboard underneath, it could be wet, the floor needs to come up, but I have to wait. I've heard nothing. I may be upside down for months all because of a pompous, arrogant individual who knew those 2 storms were coming week commencing the 14th, didn't cancel my job and move it on a week. He's not once apologised to me for all the damage it caused, just said to me that they take roofs off in rain all the time!! This company screamed professionality to me, that's why I chose them, but I wish, in hindsight I'd never heard of them. I've lost weight and I lost sleep because of them, and the nightmare isn't over yet. I still have got a ruined floor - a floor that had only been down 18 months!!

Installation was OK. A couple of pieces were damaged during installation but replaced…read more Aftersales is a NIGHTMARE! Not much is covered by warranty or guarantee. This includes hinges and locks. Took 9 months to get a hinge changed. A lot of chasing with phone calls and emails unanswered but invoice came almost immediately!!!! They will then phone you up to 4 times a day to pay the invoice......... For the aftersales, we would not recommend.
