This is by far the best place to go for spray tanning. I've gone to Golden Girl for awhile now and still continue to go because of the great customer service and convenience of it. It's such a great deal in comparison to other places and lasts significantly longer than the other spray tans I've done. I got it done a week and a half ago and still look tan! Also, it was raining the day I got it done and got water on my arm so it left a weird water mark, but they were so sweet to fix it for me the next day after I noticed! Talk about awesome customer service! read more

AMAZING! I love Golden Girl. I used them first for a Wedding that I was in as a Bridesmaid. It was great, Jenn knows what she is doing and totally fit my coloring to the tan and made it look so natural. I also threw a tanning party and all my friends loved it as well and we will continue to use Golden Girl! You can't beat the price and the service. LOVE LOVE LOVE them- Never has disappointed! read more

I have been going to Amie for a few years now to have her cut, color, style, give me any tips about my hair. Every time I get my hair done I love it more than the last cut, which I thought was the best! She always matches my colors to my skin tone and eye color. She makes sure to give me plenty of tips on how to brush my hair out and style it correctly. I have reffered many of my friends to her because she does such a great job! read more

This place is amazing! Jenn did such a great job! I'm extremely pale and I was afraid I would look too dark or orange! My tan was the best I have ever had! I looked like I had a nice glow - just what I was looking for. No funny lines on my hands and feet - no smell - no orange look and the way the tan faded was perfect! Exactly what I was looking for! The fading for me is usually when I start to look orange or have weird marks - not this time!! I will only tan with Golden Girl Chicago! So happy to have found them! read more

I used Golden Girl for my recent wedding. I had never had a spray tan before and was a bit nervous about it. I didn't want to look unnatural on my wedding day! I tried it one time before my wedding to make sure that I liked it. Jenn made me extremely comfortable and did a fantastic job! I immediately made an appointment for my wedding. I can't tell you how many compliments I got. When I told people that I had a spray tan they were shocked. I looked completely natural and positively glowing if I say so myself :) It really helped me feel beautiful on my wedding day and I have already recommended it to others! Thanks Jenn! read more

Brittany did an amazing job! I will be back and recommend her and this salon to anyone needing a blowout!!

Everyone here is very nice - and the dog is adorable. The tans were great. 4 stars only bc my no chips chipped within a week (both times that I went). Other than that I would go again! read more

Jenn & her team are amazing! I look forward to my appointments here as everyone is always so friendly. I've gotten my spray tans, eyebrows, and blowouts all done here and they consistently do a fantastic job. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment and the salon is super cute. Love this place and would highly recommend! read more

I had a crown braid done by Katie and it was fantastic! I was in an evening wedding and my hair held up all day/night and I received so many compliments! Can't wait to go back! read more

Brittany did a blow out for me last Friday, and it was perfect. I wanted my hair to look good for a work head shot, and needed to make sure my hair was a mixture of professional yet well-styled. Brittany listened and gave me just that. I definitely recommend her! read more

Friendly staff. Easy location on the third floor of the building. Jenn is easy going, and makes you feel comfortable. Satisfied with my results from my airbrush tan, and I will be back. read more

I have been getting tans from Jenn at Glowout since 2012. She literally lights up a room and makes you feel amazing the minute you walk in for an appointment. I am not going to lie, I have tried SEVERAL other tanning salons throughout the city off and on with mixed results. However, I always come back to Glowout. The tanning formula and airbrush technique are far superior than other places I have tried. My tans are always perfect. Not too dark, no streaks, and no orange hands or feet. I came here to get a spray tan before my wedding, and it was PERFECT. Even my husband goes to Jenn for tans when we head for vacation! In fact, we both have appointments next week before heading to Mexico. If you are a spray tan aficionado like myself, you already know Glowout and Jenn are the best. If not, I highly recommend you give it a try. The sunny atmosphere of the salon will make you feel like a million bucks on the way in, and your gorgeous tan will keep that feeling going all week! read more

I love coming here for spray tans! Jenn is great. Very friendly and you never feel awkward standing in your birthday suit I live across the street and stop by for a spray tan before an event or wedding! Will be back. read more

This salon is gorgeous inside there's no doubt about that and it invites the calming feminine ambience you want in a salon. I came here for NYE after several recommendations for the best blow out in Chicago. I had a reservation at a specific start and end time. I planned my entire evening around that time a lot. I arrived 5 minutes early so I wouldn't be rushed. I told the nice woman at the front I was attending a wedding hence the hairstyle requested. I didn't know if I should sit or go back as no one told me when I would be taken back. I waited for 25 minutes before my stylist came to get me and I was so flustered. I wanted an updo and only had 35 minutes at this point to get out of the salon. I wish someone would have told me they were running behind so I could manage my time. I was so rushed I didn't have a moment to look at my hair and ask the stylist to tweak a few things. The stylist did do her best to move quickly and get me out ASAP. Pieces were coming undone before I even got home. Poor communication, poor time management and it felt disrespectful to sit and wait for an appointment on NYE. read more

I came here as an out of towner to get a blowout and makeup application for a Saturday night wedding. From making the appointment to walking out the door this is one of the best experiences I've ever had at a salon. The girls were friendly and hysterical. I laughed almost the entire two hours I was there. The space is trendy with great music and awesome decorations. Very warm and cozy, almost makes you feel like you're getting ready at a friends place. Not to mention that my hair and makeup looked flawless. They were very open to any suggestions I had and even touched up my hair after my makeup since we had to put it up and it fell a little flat. I got compliments all nights and they were still looking great hours later. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for making me feel fabulous! read more

there is a reason this place has 5 stars on yelp! i had a great experience with jenn today getting a spray tan. she made me feel totally at ease and was easy to talk to. i'm still waiting to shower but i can tell the color she selected is perfect. this lady knows her stuff!! if you're looking for the perfect tan - go see jenn! read more

I loved everything about this place! The decor is so chic yet comfortable...I wish my apartment could look just like it. The employees are genuine and really aim to make your experience wonderful. And my nail tech did a fabulous job on mani/pedi. I will definitely be back for a blowout and spray tan read more

Glowout is the only place I will go for a spray tan ever again (after numerous botched tries at other places...always leaving looking like an Oompa Loompa! Ugh). Ask for Katie- she has tanned me several times (both original and express) and each time I end up with a perfect golden color that looks super natural. She is very detail oriented, especially in small areas other people forget (in between fingers, feet, etc) and is so friendly and welcoming. 5 stars for the entire salon as well..the vibe is so cute you can't help but love it. read more

Becky did such an amazing job on my spray tan! Super cute place - I'll be back at the end of month!!

Loved! The salon was so cute and clean. It's always a little bit awkward to be mostly naked in front of a stranger, but the experience was very comfortable. I felt they did a great job explaining all the do's and don'ts of the spray tan and left feeling very happy about the experience. I would definitely go back and try the other services too. read more

If you appreciate a Zen spirit as well as a safe glow for your temple, you should go here. Period.

I wish I lived here so I could go back over and over again! I was in from out of town and needed a spray tan for an event. I found them from reading reviews and I am so happy I trusted what I read! I highly recommend it! Adorable staff and set up inside! Very pleased with my tan by Jen as well! Zero smell from it which is a huge plus!!! read more

A friend recommended Golden Girl to me and I had to stop in after seeing her tan. Jenn makes a spray tan look really good - I loved how quick and natural the results were. I miss the California sun when I'm in Chicago and I refuse to use tanning booths - the easy answer would be a spray tan but without the potential for looking completely orange. As long as I'm in Chicago, I'll be a regular for sure. read more

Big fan of Golden Girl Chicago! Jenn is really professional and gives you before and after tips to keep your tan looking great as long as possible! It looks very natural! Jenn handles the typical spray tan problem areas (hands, feet, elbows etc) very well, taking extra care to make sure you don't get weird dark spots or streaks anywhere! I've been twice and I'm sure I'll keep coming back! read more

I had been doing lots of research for the best and safest spray tan in Chicago, to prep for my upcoming wedding. After reading lots of reviews, I decided on Golden Girl Chicago. I was NOT disappointed! From the minute I walked in, Jenn made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Great music was playing and it was super easy-going in the salon. She even made me feel totally normal while getting a spray tan and chatting away...half naked! Any girl that can chat you up, make you feel like she knows what she's doing (which she definitely does), is super sweet, and make it all easy peasy while getting a slightly chilly spray tan is a pro in my book. I was super pasty white going into the appointment, and she did an amazing job of keeping it natural and glowing for my skin type. It's now the day after, and I love it! Jenn even said she'd work with me to figure out the timing for my wedding spray tan and does special appointments for brides. I love that she can go to your location for only a bit extra money too. Sooooo nice when it's crazy hectic before a wedding. I highly recommend Golden Girl Chicago! read more

Megan did my first custom spray tan and did a wonderful job! She was very thorough and made sure it was a nice even application. I would highly recommend visiting Jenn & Meg at the cutest salon ever conveniently located in the West Loop for all your beauty needs. (They have a blow out bar and nail spa too!) read more

I've gone to Golden Girl, now GlowOut, three times and in each case, I had great results. I've worked with both Lola and Jennifer, and I can't say enough good things about the service or final result. I'm looking forward to trying the blow out service and would recommend GlowOut/Golden Girl to anyone. This is the place to go for a golden look that looks beautiful and natural! Oh! And love the space itself...chic and comfortable. : ) read more

I had a wonderful experience at glowout! I'm very fair skinned and needed to wear a blush colored bridesmaid dress for my brother's wedding. Jen did an amazing job making my spray tan look natural. My boyfriend, friends, and family were all impressed. She even squeezed me in to touch up my legs when I accidentally got my leg wet while the tan was drying. I will definitely be back. read more

I went to Glowout months before my September wedding hoping to find a spray tan that would help me glow in my bright white dress, but still look natural. I ended up getting several tans for events leading up to the big day and each one looked fantastic. I've tanned with both Jenn and Lola - both were stellar - and recently received a great blowout from Jackie. I cannot recommend Jenn and her team enthusiastically enough! read more

This place is incredible! The tan comes out natural looking and fades slowly. Make sure to follow the prep instructions for best results. Jenn is absolutely delightful and so talented. The space is great and would be a fun place to host a girl party! read more

Got a blowout here with Diana and loved it. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and was quick and efficient. At the end she gave me the option to leave it as is or add more curl to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be going back here. read more

I've been going to Glowout for the last few months and absolutely love the people and the tan. I've tried several places in the city and this place is by far the best. Also, Jenn and Megan are so sweet! read more

Impeccable customer service. Jen went out of her way when the salon wasn't even open to do a test patch on my leg to ensure the hyper-pigmented areas of my skin didn't soak up to much of the color. I was so happy with the results I'm going to go back for my wedding. read more

I got a beautiful blowout from Brittany yesterday! Such a cute place and I cannot wait to come back!

Jen and Amy are amazing! Not only does my tan look completely natural, but no one can believe it when I tell my friends that it is a spray tan! It is so much fun to have them at my house too- they are like friends you've had your whole life! read more

Ladies! Golden Girl Chicago is must. If you have never had an organic spray tan, you don't know what you are missing out on! Please don't think of it as one of those booths that you stand in and then come out orange. Jen will make your skin glow, with a natural looking tan. A golden girl spray tan gives you that extra luster that makes your skin look amazing. You skin looks it has just been airbrushed with a magic wand! Amie is my hairstylist, who is extremly talented. I have been both ends of the spectrum: Jessica Simpson blonde and Sophia Vegra brunette. Amie knows eveything about hair color and more. She did my hair for my wedding day which amazingly glamorous! Check out their website for photos of my hair:) read more

Golden Girl Chicago is as good as it gets when it comes to airbrush tans! Jenn provided me with the most flawless airbrush tan that looked as natural as could be for my October 2012 wedding! Jenn makes the whole process fun with her awesome personality and hilarious stories! For anyone looking for the BEST sun-kissed look, Golden Girl Chicago is where you want to go! read more

I went to Golden Girl for my very first spray tan a few years ago for a wedding, and have been back for all my tanning needs for the various events leading up to my own wedding - including a tan for my wedding weekend. As a pretty natural girl, I was at first a little frightened of looking orange or fake - but Jen and Amie are both terrific and really do customize the tan for each person. I have never left Golden Girl feeling 'too tan' and every time I went, including my wedding weekend, many people commented on how amazing my skin looked, not realizing it was likely due to the very light, very natural spray tan. I also brought Amie into my bridal suite to my hair as well as various family members'. Amie completely worked with me, and we had multiple trials. She listened to my feedback and ended up with a look that was truly perfect, natural and very 'me'. My whole family adored her positive personality. She even touched up my sister's hair (done elsewhere) for free. Her prices are fair, her skills are top-notch and she really was a pleasure to have around us during the morning of my wedding. I honestly cannot recommend Golden Girl, and Amie's hair services enough! read more

I have so much love for this place after visiting for a blow-out. Props to Golden Girl for its super friendly staff (including an adorable dog), iPad magazine subscriptions galore, delicious lattes, great value, and glam hair-styling. read more

Had a great experience with both Jenn and Lola. My sister and I needed last minute spray tans for a wedding (our normal airbrush lady cancelled last minute). Jenn squeezed us both in within 30 minutes, and our tans look great! We will definitely be returning! read more
