After doing some homework on yelp I decided to give this salon a try and I'm glad I did. They have a decent selection of gel manicure colors and I think the prices are very reasonable. On Monday and Thursday's angel mani is only $23 ($30 other days). They also have a mani/pedi deal but I only saw the sign on my way out so I didn't get a good look. They did a great job on my nails and when I spaced and came without my wallet they let me run back to my house (less than 5 mins away) to grab it without any hassle. I'll absolutely be coming here again. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because when I was sitting to soak off my previous gel manicure I thought the nail tech left me sitting way longer than necessary. read more

I am not normally one to write a bad review but here goes. I have been there twice now, after it being recommended to be by my co-workers. I went in with a OPI gel manicure that needed to be removed. I informed the manicurist of what I needed, who just smiled and started working. I turned to realize she started drilling the gel manicure off, no soak in acetone or anything. Me having this removed for the first time, didn't know any better (I do now! after going to other salons) I informed her on more then one occasion she was drilling too deep into my nailbed. She again just smiled, IE not understanding what I was saying. (I am Spanish and I am not hating but, learn to speak some English ...saying ouch and pulling your hand away should be universal) and to add insult to injury, she was slow as all hell. I left feeling very unhappy with my visit and in turn had a few nailbeds that were dark red. I actually feared having an infection in my pinkynail, since it was so hot to the touch. Like an a$$- yes I am putting that on here. I went back after my nails healed. (Its' literally five blocks from my job so call me a glutton for punishment.) I had a different manicurist this time. It took an hour and a half for a manicure and that was only with one coat. I will never go back! read more

This place is okay but they haven't really mastered the art of taking the same amount of time/gauging how long things will take because they take appointments even if they come in late and ultimately it pushes everyone back. My friends had to wait an hour+ for their pedicures but they never even got around to their gel manis since no one was free. read more

Great spot. Quick, easy, and relaxing. The pedicure staff are so devoted in making sure you're comfortable and enjoying yourself. So respectful and one can observe they enjoy what they do. I hate to leave bad reviews but this just wasn't a good experience. I made an appointment ahead of time and went in for a pedicure and a new set of acrylic nails. The girl who did my pedicure didn't say a word to me! She would push my foot and then would look at me to show she needed the next foot. On top of that, she was shaking throughout the whole process as though she was nervous. After this, waited a HALF HOUR for my manicure. As I waited I noticed all the technicians hopping between guests and making people wait in between steps. I've never seen a nail salon like this before. I showed my nail tech the picture of what I wanted and it turned out horribly. I almost wrote a bad review then but wanted to give them a chance so I went in for a redo and the second girl took 2 HOURS to apply my nails and they may be worse than the first set . $80 later, this wasn't worth it in the slightest bit. I never write reviews but I had to give a warning to anyone who is thinking about trying this place. I went in for a mani pedi for a wedding and walked out with an infection Not only did the girl hurt me but when I asked for a French manicure she looked at me like I had 5 heads. She had to ask someone else what it was. (I even showed her a picture). When she did my mani, she literally painted the skin color of the French and did not do the white lines. Maybe if it wasn't for a special occasion I wouldn't have been so irritated. Like I said I don't normally write reviews especially in situations as I explained, but what really is bothering me is that I now have infections on 3 toes from the tools she used. While scrubbing the bottom of my feet you could clearly tell that the tool was not cleaned properly because I could see white from the previous customer. Save your money and go else where. I went for a basic pedicure. The girl who did my toes did a very good job. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel she was trying to cut to low / deep. That was remedied by telling her not to. The other reason I am giving 4 stars (instead of 5) is because twice I felt like she was lifting my nail bed (and it hurt a little). Overall she did a good job because she removed A LOT of dead skin & an ingrown nail. My toes look so fresh (and clean) and they don't hurt. I love the pedicures here! Just the regular basic pedicure session involves hot stone massage, and they also do a wrap thing for the heels which makes it super soft. The very nice lady who did my pedicure even threw in a neck and shoulder massage while I was waiting for the nails to dry. I absolutely love this place. This is one of the best places to get a pedicure from. The ladies are excellent at massaging and exfoliating your legs and feet. The basic pedicure includes hot stones, and a deep tissue massage on your legs. Communication was nil since girl did not speak English. My toe was cut and bled when being clipped. No cuticle oil was used when pushing back cuticles. Stones were not hot, barely warm. Passed this place on one of my walks & decided to call for appt for next day. Went in today & was immediately greeted warmly by owner. Salon is now under new ownership. Best pedicure in town. The basic pedicure includes hot stones. The place was redone this past summer and looks very chic. The staff was friendly and passive. I went to them after having acrylic on my nails for a very long time and my nails being weak and tender. They were very soft on my nails but still gave me a great manicure. This place was very weak. I've been to a lot of mani pedi places all over the city and north jersey. They're all pretty standard with varying degrees of attitude. The people here were nice enough. The pedicure was ok. Short, but ok. I couldn't Even feel the massage, and it set a new low for bad massages. I wouldn't even write a review on those points alone. The thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was when I went to pay they charged me for a 30min massage when I only got 20. I went in at 6:22 and walked out at 6:41. In actuality it was probably less than 20 minutes, but I would have been fine with paying for 20. When I brought this to their attention they pretended they didn't understand me. And then Insisted it was 30. Am I a little bit of a disgruntled customer? Yes. But still, as small as this is it is still scamming and stealing in my opinion. read more

I've never written a complaint before, but this is my first one. I decided to try a new nail salon today and let me say I WILL NEVER GO BACK! First off, it shouldn't take over 2 hours for an acrylic fill in and a pedicure, got there at 2:10, took me at 2:35 and didn't leave till 4:45...and why??? Because the girl was SLOW as hell and I don't think she knew what she was doing..it also helps that she didn't speak much English. After the lady was done with my nails, she says that she had to take her lunch and she will be back in 5 minutes, which led to 15 minutes!!! It's now almost 2 hours later and my nails are starting to bubble..that doesn't happen with acrylic. So stay away from this place and on top of that, the place is dirty!! Whoever said best pedicure in town must not know what a good pedicure is. The girl who did my nails didn't even acknowledge me and would tap instead of speaking to change which feet to switch. She literally rubbed me for 10 seconds on each leg and foot. The main thing I look for in a pedicure is the massage and she lacked it. Didn't even rub my shoulders at the end like all salons do. We ( me and my BFF) used to go here every 2 weeks, it was great for about 3 times,about 6 weeks, then it started becoming longer and longer to get our nails done, the straw that broke the camels back was, fill in,mani pedi and pedicure was 4 F**king hours. 4 hours, they then told us they had customers with appt. and we told them we were the ones who made the appts., they kept grabbing walkins and working on them. I like the salon. They are clean. I saw the pedicurist clean the tub before I placed my feet in it. I saw the ataff take instruments out of the ovens before using them on me, and I didn't see them reuse any towels during the pedicure. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Ladies can get a pedi and mani for $20 on Mondays, and you get a hot stone treatment with your pedicure. I remember once in the winter they included paraffin in their pedicures as a bonus. I love this Salon. They have everything I need in one place, nails, wax, massage, facials...and the prices are great too! Item for item, some things may be a few pennies more, but well worth it. The girls are good at what they do, friendly and helpful and the owner is always there to please you. They take a personal interest in your needs, whether it's simply finding a nail color you like or helping you to prepare for an event.
