I ordered the double bmc smash burger and it came out hot and delicious! I loved the grilled onions on the burger and thought they have a fantastic sauce on the burgers. When getting a smash burger you have to get a double too! Now the one disappointing aspect was I ordered the fries and they definitely left a little to be desired as I wish you got some more with an order. Typically you can share a fry but this one was a little too small to share. I definitely will be back again soon as I want to try to the spicy smash burger and I hope it delivers as well as the bmc smash burger did! This is by far one of the better smash burger spots in broward so give it a try, it's worth the drive even if you aren't in Oakland park! Especially for the fact that parking in the area is free!

Best Burger Spot in Broward County -- PERIOD!…read more I've been coming to North South Grill in Pembroke Pines since 2021, and I'm honestly surprised I haven't written a review sooner. Guys, hands down, this is the BEST burger spot in Broward County -- PERIOD! This is a husband-and-wife-owned restaurant, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into this place. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and the service always makes you feel welcome. If you're in the mood for a smash burger, steak sub, chicken sandwich, or chicken tenders, this is the place to go. Everything I've tried has been excellent, and after coming here for years, they continue to deliver. I love supporting local, family-owned businesses, especially when the owners take this much pride in what they do. North South Grill is a Pembroke Pines gem and absolutely worth checking out. Highly recommended! *1000000 if I can

The hostess told us a few different options of where to sit from and we took a booth. The server was very on top of everything and came over quickly, got our drinks and told us of different drink orders that were happening at that time. I decided to get a zombie and it was amazing! The flavors were mixed perfectly and it was a nice pour! I decided to get the prime rib sandwich with fries as a side and omg it was heavenly. The meat was cooked perfectly and the ciabatta bread it was served on was fresh and soft! The cheese was melted perfectly and the meat was seasoned great as well! The fries were so hot and seasoned with something that was out of this world! The place has some nice decorations but overall is just a sports bar at the end of the day. It was super clean but I do wish the air was a little colder because it started to get warm by the time I was finished with my meal.

I also liked the seating at the booth - they were not square booths, but rather round "embracing" booths, so we were warmly greeted and we got a Lunch Menu! There were some cool options to be had a t a much reduced price- for lunch! My partner wanted a burger. Well he got the juiciest burger, and the fries were to die for! I picked from the lunch menu the pork with mojo and rice and beans and let me say my dish was very savory and good! Not the Cuban style Mojo I was expecting, more of a Caribbean-Jamaica flavor to it, but very delicious nonetheless. We ate with much gusto to our hearts desire... and eventually had to get a doggy bag because even my lunch portion was bough to take some back home for later. Great place, service and ambiance. Yesterday I had a fried fish sandwich with crispy sweet potato fries and my husband had salmon in Romesco sauce on a bed of haricot vert and finished with bits of fennel on top. From the happy hour menu (3 p.m. - 6 p.m.), one of our friends had tempura shrimp, one had steak on skewers, and another had large shrimp in a beautiful sauce on toasted bread. We had chips and guacamole and shrimp dishes on the table and they were scraped clean! The food was so good that no one took leftovers because we ate everything! The chairs and bench seats are super comfy so if you're like our group, you're going to want to stay for a while. We kept moving around to talk with others in our group because it was like being in someone's house. The bartender and server were excellent. Nicole, our bartender, made a coffee martini that was better than what my friend expected. She realized that other bars served it wrong! I ordered Don Julio 1942 and they had it. My husband loved his pinot noir and another friend loved her fresh strawberry and mint drink so much that she ordered another! The head on my friend's beer was proper and that was nice. Everyone loved the drinks. Our server, Timiya was stealth. She took orders and even took pics for us with such quietness that the energy at our table was unbroken. As the person who suggested Burton's, I loved that I didn't have to worry about anything. Stephen Fithian, the manager, is really focused on making sure everything is smooth. Nothing gets past him, and judging from the professionalism of the servers and runners, that focus is on every level. Everyone at our table got the right drinks/food. We were welcome to enjoy ourselves - the server let us sit for a couple of hours before presenting the bills. I could not ask for anything more. We had such a great time that, while in the restaurant, my friends asked me to arrange another happy hour at Burtons. Will do!

This comes with two sides- French fries and Cole slaw which I switched for a Caesar salad. I was disappointed I only got two tenders lol and the chicken had too much batter, but the entire entree was a big portion! Our server was great and the music playing set the mood for a fun ambiance. The aged cheese was a nice touch, the bun was fresh and the aïoli stood out, so much so, that that's what I remembered most about the burger (its aioli taste), but not much else from a "seasoned" taste standpoint. In other words, the above was all the burger was about (no lettuce, ketchup, pickles, etc), which is no shade to BurgerFi, because that exactly what's listed on the menu for this particular burger (it's not listed as being "dressed"). I'd rate the burger a 6/10 for what it is, and a 8/10 if dressed with bbq sauce (which is what I did at-home). The sweet potato fries were delicious and well seasoned, and the Oreo shake was also great and well-blended.
