Updated review because I have even more to say about Annie and Balance Lab Aesthetics!…read more I recently had my PRX Plus treatments done with Annie for my melasma, and I am already so happy with the results I'm seeing. My skin is looking brighter, more even, and healthier, and I'm really excited to see how much more improvement I'll see as I continue through my treatments. One of the biggest reasons I trust Annie completely with my face is her honesty. She will never recommend something just because she can. She listens to what I want, looks at my skin, and gives me her honest opinion about what she thinks will actually benefit me. I really appreciate that about her. Annie just knows her craft. She is incredibly knowledgeable, meticulous, and has such a good eye for what will look natural and beautiful. I always feel like I'm in the hands of someone who genuinely understands what she's doing. And beyond her expertise, I genuinely love Annie as a person. She is so kind, welcoming, and makes every appointment feel comfortable. She has helped me feel better about my skin and more confident in myself, and that means so much to me. I completely trust her with my face, and I'm so happy with the results I'm already seeing. I can't wait to see the final results of my PRX Plus journey!

Annie explained everything to me beforehand and answered all my questions. She also customized my XERF treatment so I felt comfortable during the procedure. I saw AMAZING snatched and lifted immediate result, but it will go down and then gradually come back over the next several months as collagen is being rebuilt. Annie specializes in not just aesthetics, but also taking care of the body holistically. She recommended to drink a lot of water after and to get the Perfect Amino supplements as well to help my body get the best results while it is stimulating collagen for the next few months. I really appreciated all her expertise and felt well taken care of. PRO TIP: Do Onda Pro with your XERF treatment for extra snatching because you will already be numb! Thank you Annie and Rhami for a great experience!!

I've been coming to Mirako Spa for facials for years and have probably been here 10 times now. I…read moreoriginally found them through Groupon (great value around $70), but lately I've been booking directly with the spa even though it's around $90, and honestly I think it's worth it. It feels like they use even nicer products when booking direct, which I've really noticed in the results. The facility is always very clean and relaxing, the products feel high quality, and the facial massage is amazing -- one of my favorite parts. Service has consistently been great every visit, and I always leave feeling refreshed. Overall, a wonderful experience every time and definitely a place I keep coming back to.

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.

That's when I knew she'd be my girl. I do the same my house, no outside shoes in the house. She provided clear instructions on changing into the facial gown. Her bed was really comfy. I fell asleep after the extractions I believe. Oura ring says I slept for 1 hour 15 min. The duration of treatment was from 1:35-3:20 about an hour and 40 min after changing. Her massage techniques were phenomenal. One of a kind. My skin is super sensitive and during facial as she was understanding what my skin habits are, she gave me education not to exfoliate daily as I normally do. I booked the Signature Hydrafacial since it was my first time getting any type of hydrafacial. Barbara and Maxine were really nice and really explained everything. I also added the Dermaplane after the initial consultation. Atmosphere was very relaxing. The entire experience was just application of products and using tools on my face.

This was extremely easy and convenient. Somehow my appointment was going to overlap with another guests but Linda called me right away to notify me of the scheduling issue. We were able to push my appointment back an hour and accommodate the Collagen Hydrogel Magician Treatment (2 hours). Upon walking into the space, Linda greeted me immediately. She was finishing up the client prior to me. There are multiple rooms and she had my room prepped and ready for me. This is one of these experiences in which you should not judge the process, but the results. The results ARE AMAZING! I went in with very dry and red skin. I walked out with baby skin that was just about near perfection. The treatment came with a lot of massaging which I was pleasantly surprised with. If you want results this is the place. I already plan to book another session next week and try the full body massage.

I wanted to get a nice facial and decided to go with this place…read more Online booking was easy which included your selection of staff member. I chose Linda. 6/20/26 I arrived 10 mins before my appointment time at 1pm and saw another client waiting in the second chair in the lobby area. No one at the front desk. After 5 minutes or so, a lady came out to inform us to give them a few minutes while they set up. I missed the later front end of the the dialogue but pretty much I was going with Kara and the other lady was going with Linda. I clarified I has chosen Linda. Without saying she double booked, she assured me Kara was very good at the magician facial. Linda was actually the lady who informed me of this. This visit did not start out very well since I have PTSD when it comes to establishments that double book. Well, I am already here so I thought I'd give it a try. Kara was nice and skilled at what she does. She was thorough and provided me with a fantastic facial. This is definitely the first time in a long time, that my face got this much dancing fingers attention. I am pretty sure I twilighted into a little snooze somewhere in my 2+ hour facial. My face felt very smooth and plump after my treatment. She even applied sunscreen before I headed out which I am thankful for. Things that could be improved: 1) Please be courteous and avoid double booking clients. I specifically asked for Linda due to all the raving reviews. I was lucky that Kara was also very good but it did not start on a positive note. 2) Explaining what is going to happen before it happens. She did not dismiss it entirely but there were a lot of quiet, gapey moments where my mind would wonder what is going on. There is nothing worse than having your eyes covered with a tiny wet cloth while all sorts of sounds of devices are occurring in your surroundings. After I paid, Linda also provided me with a discount card for my future visit which was also nice. Even though I was moved by the package deals, I am not entirely sure I am a routine facial type of gal. Despite of the small hiccups in my experience today, I would still recommend this place for a facial. Kara has magic hands. I greatly enjoyed my fancy facial by her.

My body responds well to it, and until recently, I trusted the providers there--especially Lori--without hesitation. A few months ago, they suggested I try a newer product called Letybo, which was described as being mixed with saline and supposedly more effective. Because I had built trust with them over the years, I agreed to give it a chance. Within a few weeks, it became clear that Letybo was not as strong for me and did not give me the results I've always had with Dysport. I expressed my concerns at that time, but they seemed brushed off. When I scheduled my most recent appointment about three weeks ago, I was very clear with Savannah on the phone that I only wanted Dysport, as it has consistently worked best for me. She said she would note this in my chart. On the day of the appointment, Savannah took my before photos, and I again asked her to confirm that I was receiving Dysport. She told me yes and said she would confirm with Lori. Lori then came in and performed the treatment. I left believing I had received Dysport. Three weeks later, after being unhappy with the results once again, I called the office to ask exactly what product had been used. That's when I was told it was Letybo, not Dysport. I am extremely disappointed. I was clear about my concerns, clear about my request, and clear about what I consented to. Yet I was given a product I explicitly asked not to receive. Even more troubling, it was presented in a way that led me to believe I was getting Dysport, which felt misleading and dismissive of my concerns. After three years of trust, this experience felt unprofessional and careless--especially in a medical aesthetics setting where transparency and patient consent are essential. I expected to be listened to and respected as a long-term patient, and unfortunately, that did not happen here.
