First time here- as a walk in since I was in a the area and desperate need of an update. I came for a quick gel polish mani and gel toe polish removal. The staff were nice. Very quiet and relaxing. Luckily I had my AirPods to keep me up and entertained. Nice place: plenty of options both gel, regular polish. I would like to come when I have more time to do a full service pedicure. Hopefully soon!

I changed the colors and shape but this is the example I gave and she did even better!

After having a negative experience at the nail place across the street...Gloss & Feathers saved the day! Their prices were fair and transparent, staff was friendly and easy to chat with, and salon was in a convenient location with availability to take a Sunday afternoon walk in after a couple of minute wait. My nails turned out cute and have lasted over 3 weeks with SNS Dip. I liked my gal and she said everyone there does a greatAbsolutely would recommend this spot!

I looked on yelp for a nail salon that would do a fill as a walk in. I am from out of town and needed a fill badly. They took me in and Leann did a great job. Look the look and shape. Salon was nice and clean. Highly recommend!

The little cuts and bruising to my cuticles

I came in Saturday as a surprise; my s/o made an appointment for me. I never get my nails done so I was so excited to have a mani pedi and to be pampered because I never do this kind of stuff for myself. The service was nice and enjoyable, but extremely rough at times. I don't know the technical terms for the tools, but there seemed to be a sandpaper type sponge that the lady used and she rubbed over and over my cuticles on my toes and also on my fingers until the skin was sore and raw. She would squirt some type of acetone over that area mid way and it would sting so bad. The store was extremely busy yesterday and perhaps the lady felt rushed, I really don't know, I was thinking that perhaps this is part of the process and maybe I'm just not used to it (because like I said, I never get my nails done). There seems to be like bruising and cuts where it was hurting during the service. I asked a few of my friends and they said that type of service is definitely not part of the process and to keep an eye on any possible infection on my fingers. I also have a cut on my toe from that sandpaper thing she used but I won't be posting pictures of my feet. Busy or not, every customer deserves to be handled gently and not have a rushed service. The lady doing my nails seemed to be so rushed that she stood up during my hand massage to speak to the next clients that were waiting for a pedi. I was so excited in the moment that I didn't realize until after and actually reflected on the whole experience that this was not how it was supposed to be and for as expensive as this was, I should not having cuts and tenderness near my nails after a service.

Reverse French with small detailed designs of flowers on a few nails and a few nails done solid color as requested.

I took my 16 year old niece here for her Birthday. We loved it! We got mani-pedis. The employees are super nice. My niece had a complicated reverse French Manicure that she wanted and had pictures off the web for it. The nail tech was super gracious and kind and patient in creating the design as best she could on shorter nails. We'll be back!

Not very clean......Towels were wet, cold, and reeked of nail polish remover. When asked for a French tip, the technician didn't know how to properly paint it. He started with the tip before the base making the colors blend into each other. This place charges a $5 shape fee when the shape wasn't changed. read more

I am especially picky when it comes to my nails. Not only are the people especially friendly but Tom pays kind attention to color, shape and overall detail while not trying to up sell me on things that I don't particularly like (although I am open to some suggestions). He also is timely and fun to chat with and my nails last over three weeks despite the fact that I'm a swimmer! read more

I've gone here a couple of times and this is now my favorite nail salon in the area! The staff is really friendly and great at what they do. I got a dip french manicure with almond tips and she perfectly shaped every nail and all of the french tips were completely even. They are also affordable. They do only accept cash though so *BRING CASH* to pay and tip. If you forget like I do every time though, they have an ATM in the salon as well. read more

Getting directions to this place was frustrating already to begin with. I'm only giving a couple of stars because I enjoyed my QT with my daughter and met a gal from the east bay back home- sweet treat. I got a pedicure that included callus removing. The lady did the callus work on my foot for literally 30 seconds, per foot. She then scrubbed my foot after for another 30 seconds after that, then wash. I really wanted to get my foot worked on since it's so dry and rough. NOT TO MENTION, they didn't even use the color gel I chose. Sucks because I ended up asking for a comparison of the ACTUAL color I chose and the one they put on my feet- smh Next time please pay a little more close attention to detail because I know I do. TMI but soon after I left this nail salon, these puppies were still feeling like sandpaper again. The massage was nice but I paid EXTRA for the callus removal. You would think that they would make more effort on the one thing I pointed out mattered to me the most. Currently trying to scrub my own feet in my hotel room so I could feel better about wearing heels tonight. Would NOT recommend the lady who worked on my foot. I cant speak to the rest of the other employees who work here. To the receptionist, Thanks for the effort and customer service. I appreciate you recognizing the mistake made and honoring my request not to finish the rest of my services. At least my daughter was super happy *Update and response to the business owner- I appreciate your response. To correct any misunderstandings, I paid for my pedicure and asked for the lady to STOP and not to do my manicure anymore. I DIDNT pay for the gel polish that I didn't request for AND for the manicure I no longer wanted. I already felt uncomfortable and I didn't want to continue services when I already wasn't happy about. I offered to give a $20 tip on top of my daughters mani/pedi and my pedicure but it wasnt acceptable, so I left whatever cash I had in my wallet. I hope this clears up any confusion. I'm sure this was one service that didn't work out for both parties and I am sure there are plenty other happy and loyal customers out there but this was my experience. read more

Visiting the area for two weeks and needed to get the chipped polish off my toes and fingernails. Came here looking for a nice relaxing manicure and pedicure with sugar scrub and buff to shine-no more paint. Got exactly what I wanted! I don't like cuticle trim and they were happy to oblige me! Very friendly staff. This place does have regulars! I'll be back when I am in the area again and require service! Thank you!! read more

Great nail salon. This was my first visit here. All nail techs were very clean and professional; the ambience was very relaxing. All tools were properly cared for. This is a very nice salon! I started coming here recently because it's close to my new job. The place is clean and cute, and every time I've been here I've been greeted with a great big smile! The girls remember things about my life from one visit to the next. Kelly has done my nails twice and she does a great job! My pedicure was great also. I've always loved coming to this place. I've been going to natural nails even since the previous owners. Just left and honestly felt very uncomfortable and about to cry. Should've left mid way through like I wanted to instead of paying a full 70 bucks for a set I hate. The nail tech couldn't do any of the designs I wanted and kept telling me he was going to do two nails, and telling me what he was going to do with MY nails. I left with plain pink nails and with NO design as he kept telling me no to anything I was showing him (even a basic colored French tip). The guy scolded me for wanting more narrow nails telling me I was in the wrong, even though I'm the paying customer. I didn't even want to bother to tell him I wanted my nails shorter because I was to scared too. I still tipped well and I am getting them fixed tomorrow and probably not coming back. UPDATE I ended up coming back and my nails look great! Just be careful to the nail technician that you see... There are some really good ones that I absolutely love! But as with most nail salons there's though few technicians you steer clear of. Kim and Bee are my favorite! read more

I moved out to Scottadale a few months ago and I've been to at least 3 or 4 nail salons trying to find one that I like and it has been so difficult. Today I thought I would try one before just giving up and not having nails anymore. This place is so amazing! Everyone here is so friendly, staff and clients! Tom gave me exactly what I asked for. It is a little on the pricey side but completely worth it in my opinion. This is officially my nail salon. read more

I just moved here and have been looking for a good salon. I had tried a couple different salons and wasn't pleased with my nails or they would cut my cuticle during a mani. I was getting very frustrated and about ready to give up. I got on yelp to look up a salon. I found Natural Nails & Lashes. They had great reviews! I found that very encouraging. I made an appointment for a gel mani and a pedicure. I had told them I currently had on SNS Dip and wasn't happy with it and just wanted to go back to gal nails again. Annie said they were too thick and that she could do SNS dip and that it wouldn't look like anything I had now. I was hesitant but trusted her. She did an amazing job! My nails look like gel but it's SNS Dip and it isn't anything like what I had. I am so pleased with how my nails turned out I will be coming back again to see Annie! She is truly amazing! read more

I went there to get my nails done before my wedding. The pedicure was good but my manicure was terrible. I had been growing out my nails and I asked for them to be rounded and that I didn't want to lose length. The lady filed them too short and made them almond. I asked for gel French tips and my nails looked lumpy and just awful. I was so disappointed that I cried in my car. I didn't say anything to the manager but I should have. I was just so stressed out and went somewhere else to get them redone. read more

I came here for a gel mani and pedi and was talked into upgrading to SNS. This place looks very nice and clean and the service was impeccable! Unfortunately several of my SNS nails chipped within the first 5 days so I was disappointed, but I went in after the first one chipped and they fixed it for me no questions asked and were very friendly about it! My only 'real' issue was when I ran into a different nail salon for a quick polish change for my toes before my holiday party, she found brown/black marks on my big toes, which I can only imagine is fungus? I feel like if it weren't clean, it wouldn't have had so many customers and maybe my experience was a fluke? My friend that I went with had no issues with her SNS chipping and she didn't get any sort of discoloration or fungus on her toenails. read more

Heard many good things about this salon and decided to try for myself. When I came for my appointment I was told that the person that I had an appointment with was transferred to another location and someone else will do my manicure and pedicure. That someone else turned out to be either an owner or a manager who, by the way he was doing things, has not had much experience. Yes he was polite and kept asking if I was ok and gave me lots of advice about nails. However, he did not cut my nails the way I asked him neither on my hand nor on my toes, he did not clean my cuticle either on my nails or on my toes. To sum up: one of the worst mani pedi I have had in a very very long time. I only stayed as I needed at least something done for an event. Waste of time and money. One star for service, one star for politeness. read more

Kat is absolutely amazing! I came to her after a mishap at another salon and not only was she able to fix my nails, she went above and beyond. She's super fun to chat with and truly skilled at her craft. I always go to her for SNS dip and she nails it every time. I also love their receptionist Bre and all of their nail techs are always happy and kind. 10/10 recommend this salon! Just make sure you only go to the location off Mayo!!!! read more

Basic Gel Mani was high above my expectations, and total was only $30. I went on my 1 hour lunch break. The staff is extremely welcoming. My nails look amazing. The salon has a relaxing vibe. My sister and I have come to gloss & feathers twice now. We visit from Canada and intentionally come back to this salon for the amazing service we receive. We both had a spa pedicure and manicure with Kim & Kay and they took their time to ensure our feet looked and felt amazing. When I arrived, I was turned away because their next appointment was in 15 minutes. What was even more frustrating was that the staff kept pushing me toward sugaring despite admitting it wouldn't effectively remove all my hair. They then suggested I return later when a more experienced technician would be available. So not only was I denied service, but I was also expected to make another trip because the available staff couldn't perform the service I booked. Poor communication, questionable expertise, and absolutely no consideration for customers' time. Definitely not returning!

I am EXTREMELY picky about my nails, especially when it comes to hybrid gel/builder gel because it is SO hard to find someone who actually knows how to do it well, and Vanna absolutely crushed it. I have been going to Gloss and Feathers lounge over year and half. I love working with B, she does an amazing job and every time i go anywhere people complement me on my manicure and pedicure and my color choice! B is very hip and she knows her colors well! I love the entire staff, very professional, kind and friendly. The owner a lovely woman name Michlin she is not only caring and professional, she truly cares for her staff and customers. I recall a time when a customer came in and complained about a service that was clearly no ones fault, but the owner with her grace apologized on behalf of her staff member and offered the customer $20 gift certificate which to my surprise the customer was not happy and wanted more. What was interesting it seemed the customer had an agenda she was keep pushing the owner to a corner hoping she would snap and lose her cool so can ask for more money, but what I loved about the owner not only she didn't lose her cool she remained calm but above all KIND and Respectful! I came here taking into account the rate and reviews which is 4,5. And was really disappointed. I did mani and pedi. Spent over $100. Not counting tips. Did just matt nails and foil for 2fingers. What did i get? 1. Uneven surface. 2. Had to file my nails after coming home, as the shape was different and again uneven 3. By the end of the day the foil and the matt finish pilled off. I am giving 2 stars as the hospitality was good. I did not like how clean was the place. Thought could go there if the nail professionals were good. I was served by the best one as far as i was told. And got this. Now i have such a sharp surface on my nails that cannot play with my newborn or even change the diaper, as i will scratch him. So what i expect from you is to refund my money as i do not want to come for fixing my nails. I would rather take a chance and go to other salon then come back. read more

Whenever I get my nails done here my polish will stay intact for several weeks. Usually, I have a basic manicure but recently I've been trying the gel manicure. I've been extremely happy with the results. It dries quickly underneath the heat lamp and I don't have to wait around for the polish to dry. I also don't have to worry about my nails getting smudged or chipping later. Another thing I would recommend about this place is their facials. You wouldn't think a nail salon would be a good place to get a facial but they'll prove you wrong. They really give you the works with steaming your face, removing black heads and exfoliating for half the price of those fancy spas. read more

I have been going to Kathy (owner) for almost 20 years. I have followed her to many salons. She now is the owner and I cannot say enough great things about her and her work. I started using SNS (Dip) about a year ago and would never go back to acrylic. The one problem I found at other salons was SNS colors were limited. Here they have hundreds of colors to chose from. I and my friend came to this nails shop last week for her birthday. We got the best pedicure ever. The staffs there are so awesome, they r very friendly and do such a good job. My friend even got 20% discount and a CND lotion for her birthday gift (they always have special for every occasion). Another thing that I like about them is they use the liner for every spa tub. I have always had an issue with anything other than acrylic staying on my nails for longer than a few days and my last SNS manicure stayed on for almost 3 weeks without breaking or coming up. Edit to respond to owner: there's no full concept to give. I said what I said and I stand on it just like you are with decisions you made by not making this right. Stop being defensive, argumentative and take responsibility. I'm not the first to complain about nails breaking quickly after a service, look at your google reviews which you have responded in an aggressive way. 3 days. 5 days, a week later it doesn't matter! Most nail salons give you that weak window to reach out for any complaints. I will never step foot in another nail salon because it's a waste of money, time and energy that comes along with piss poor results and customer service. The time you're going back and forth with me you should be using to put more effort into your service! About context about the grow out you're not making any sense. "Grow out" should never be used as an excuse for a horrible manicure job.
