First time here- as a walk in since I was in a the area and desperate need of an update. I came for a quick gel polish mani and gel toe polish removal. The staff were nice. Very quiet and relaxing. Luckily I had my AirPods to keep me up and entertained. Nice place: plenty of options both gel, regular polish. I would like to come when I have more time to do a full service pedicure. Hopefully soon!

I changed the colors and shape but this is the example I gave and she did even better!

After having a negative experience at the nail place across the street...Gloss & Feathers saved the day! Their prices were fair and transparent, staff was friendly and easy to chat with, and salon was in a convenient location with availability to take a Sunday afternoon walk in after a couple of minute wait. My nails turned out cute and have lasted over 3 weeks with SNS Dip. I liked my gal and she said everyone there does a greatAbsolutely would recommend this spot!

I looked on yelp for a nail salon that would do a fill as a walk in. I am from out of town and needed a fill badly. They took me in and Leann did a great job. Look the look and shape. Salon was nice and clean. Highly recommend!

I came in Saturday as a surprise; my s/o made an appointment for me. I never get my nails done so I was so excited to have a mani pedi and to be pampered because I never do this kind of stuff for myself. The service was nice and enjoyable, but extremely rough at times. I don't know the technical terms for the tools, but there seemed to be a sandpaper type sponge that the lady used and she rubbed over and over my cuticles on my toes and also on my fingers until the skin was sore and raw. She would squirt some type of acetone over that area mid way and it would sting so bad. The store was extremely busy yesterday and perhaps the lady felt rushed, I really don't know, I was thinking that perhaps this is part of the process and maybe I'm just not used to it (because like I said, I never get my nails done). There seems to be like bruising and cuts where it was hurting during the service. I asked a few of my friends and they said that type of service is definitely not part of the process and to keep an eye on any possible infection on my fingers. I also have a cut on my toe from that sandpaper thing she used but I won't be posting pictures of my feet. Busy or not, every customer deserves to be handled gently and not have a rushed service. The lady doing my nails seemed to be so rushed that she stood up during my hand massage to speak to the next clients that were waiting for a pedi. I was so excited in the moment that I didn't realize until after and actually reflected on the whole experience that this was not how it was supposed to be and for as expensive as this was, I should not having cuts and tenderness near my nails after a service.

Reverse French with small detailed designs of flowers on a few nails and a few nails done solid color as requested.

I took my 16 year old niece here for her Birthday. We loved it! We got mani-pedis. The employees are super nice. My niece had a complicated reverse French Manicure that she wanted and had pictures off the web for it. The nail tech was super gracious and kind and patient in creating the design as best she could on shorter nails. We'll be back!

This place is okay. I give it 5 stars for friendliness and trying hard, but it's not great - the services are mediocre (the pedicure was pretty good), but the wax wasn't worth it - way too expensive for a half a$$ job, and and even though I had an appointment, I waited 45 minutes to get into it. My advice: Don't set or take appointments if you cannot honor them. read more

I just moved to Scottsdale and needed a new nail salon. After coming to the all knowing Yelp, i found this place and chose it based on the reviews. I made an appointment for a full set but ended up waiting 15-20 mins when i got there (you know how it can be at nail salons). I wasn't in a rush so i didn't mind. The man who i believe to be the owner (i heard him say his name is Tom) apologized for the wait and let me sit in a pedicure chair which was very kind of him. Good customer service is hard to find these days! I was paired with Helen to do my full set and she did not disappoint! I got a full set of pink and white powder. I showed her a pic of what i wanted and her work was almost identical! She was very sweet. It didn't take as long as it normally can and she was extremely thorough. In fact as i was leaving the nail salon another lady asked to see my nails and told Helen she wanted the same! I will definitely be back to see Helen. This was the most pricey full set I've ever had ($75). Pink and white is always more pricey but i was a little aghast when i heard that number! This is Scottsdale however and you get what you pay for! Helen did tell me ahead of time so there were no surprises. I believe a regular full set is $60. They also have an ATM right inside the nail salon for tips with just a 50 cent fee! They appreciate paying and tipping in cash :) read more

My sister's in law were in town for the holiday's so we decided to try a new nail salon based on the reviews and we were not impressed. I got French tips using dip and it was very unevenly placed. Unfortunately, my biggest nuisance was the cut on my thumb. I wouldn't recommend this nail salon. read more

My husband and I came from out of town and thought we would give this place a try! We had two fabulous women who were cheerful and very sweet. They cleaned up our heels the best we have ever had!! The massages were awesome too! The reason for the four stars is that my husband was short changed 15 minutes on his pedicure. It's a Big deal when there is a significant cost difference between 45 and 60 minutes. My advice is, watch the clock. I would come back, but I would be more careful of the time. read more

The service I personally received was great. However their customer service my sister received was terrible. For this reason I am giving 2 stars. My mom and I booked appointments online at 12pm for 2:15. We waited for about 15 minutes to be seen. The lady at the reception said she only had time to see the two of us, my younger sister was with us and wanted acrylics removed and a pedicure. We then went online and booked a 3pm appointment for her on their website. At 3pm my sister went up to check in for her appointment. The receptionist asked when we made the appointment. We explained that we made the appointment when we got here, assuming she meant she didn't have time to see my sister at 2:15pm. She then stated she wouldn't be able to see my sister because they were short staffed. 3 people came in at 3:30pm with online appointments. They were immediately seated and attended to. I asked the receptionist how their 3:30pm online appointment was any different from my sisters 3pm online appointment. She said she couldn't honor my sisters 3pm online appointment because she already told us she didn't have time to see her when we checked in at 2:15pm. I asked how that was any different from making an appointment at home online. She then walked away from me shaking her head. They don't clean or sanitize stations between clients. They pass you from one station to the other several times during your visit. My mom was passed to 3 different stations during her manicure. They all seemed to be scrambling around and were very disorganized. One client next to me was 30 minutes into her appointment and was passed to two different nail technicians. She was very upset that they filed her nails 3 different times. I will not be returning. There are plenty of other nail salons with much better customer service and good quality work. read more

So i have never been here nor will i ever be back! I came in and it was a rush job with multiple asks of if i wanted to upgrade polish even after i explained twice no. Which whatever i could deal with. I wasnt given a price break down or told to wash my hands after all the filing so my nails had items stuck to them when my tech went to paint them and then the paint was bulky in some areas and fading in others and i asked to have it repainted and a 3rd coat being put on was the result... i ended up asking for nail polish remover while they were working on my moms hands and took it off myself and then they still charged me $55?! For what?! I have short rounded nails. I could see being charged $40 but what was the additional !15 for? Ill never go back and im gonna call about the price issue. I recommend not going here because it truly is a waste of time and money. If shape is $5 and length is $5 and a reg full set with reg polish is $40 how does that equal $55? I think the extra $5 that they charged on mine and my moms was to include tip since they knew we wouldn't leave one because of the service read more

UPDATE - 5 stars manager Kathy called and apologized for the service and offered me a refund right away. She was very unhappy to see that's how my nails turned out. She assured me that if I came back in, she'd make sure I was in good hands. Like I said before, she's super sweet and I think I just wasn't in the most experienced hands. ----- Initial review - 3 stars Pretty bummed about my experience at this salon. I read all the great reviews and was excited to make an appointment online - felt like it would be seamless. When I got to the salon for my noon appt,I still had to wait 30 minutes. Once I got in the chair, I felt as if the tech was upset that I didn't upgrade my pedicure for a callus removal and in spite, didn't scrub at all. Turned out looking fine but my hands are rough. The shape isn't what I asked for which I can understand, it's a trendier almond shape but the polish application has bubbles and the sides of my nails still have polish. They just look dehydrated and sloppy. Maybe I got an inexperienced nail tech but they just look..bad. Owner/front desk was very sweet and I can tell a lot of people are loyal to the place but unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

My sister and I came in for mani/pedis. We did not have an appointment but they took us in right away, which was great. They do ask everyone to wash their hands in the back when you enter. When we entered there was a strong odor in the building like someone was cooking, maybe lunch in the back? I'm not sure. We immediately noticed that the establishment was a little dirty, which made us wary of the sanitation practices. We pondered leaving but we're already seated with the water running so had to see it through. I had the pedicure #2 with the callus remover and massage. The service was definitely great. I'm super pleased with the pedicure and the price wasn't bad. Due to lack of cleanliness though, I probably won't return. read more

New to town and found this place through google maps. They had excellent customer service and very friendly. Tom was great at doing my nails. He suggested to remove my previous dip tips that needed a fill and replace with dip on my natural nails. They look awesome! Then I had their Gold pedicure, which was again great. In all my years of getting pedicures, I have never found a massage chair that I liked. But theirs was just amazing. Right now, I'm definitely coming back, even when I get my house on the west side, I'll still be coming back. I'll update this in a month to see if my assessment is still accurate and valid. read more

This salon is great! Everyone is so nice, super friendly, and accommodating. I got my nails done by JD and he is phenomenal! He talks to you the whole time, helps you make any decisions regarding your nails, and can strengthen your thin nails! Great choice for dip powder. I also had Alex for my toes and he was the sweetest! I am super ticklish on my feet and he removed all of my callus. He was also amazing! I got the sns nails ($40) and a pedicure #2 ($35) I didn't know that the pedicure I picked did not include gel so my pedicure ended up being ($47). A bit pricey for me but I haven't had my nails done in awhile and it was still a great job. read more

I've been coming here for about 2 years. I really love the level of service they provide. When I walk in, every one greets me by name. They remember small details of my life, which makes me feel like they value me as a customer. I like that I can have one person do my nails while another does my pedi and can be in and out in an hour. I have yet to have a bad experience here. I recommend to anyone, and feel like I am in good hands, regardless of who is working with me, but I have to give kudos to Lyna and Tom. I was really hesitant to have my lashes done, since my eyes are pretty sensitive. I'm thrilled with the result with Ivy Lee. She's a kind perfectionist. She's meticulous with her application and conscious about your comfort and feedback. The results are amazing. It's great if you want to opt out of wearing makeup, while still having a polished look. The lashes look great with makeup also. I highly recommend Ivy Lee. Kelly does a fantastic job on my nails. She is also meticulous and my nails last for a long time and grow out naturally I do the S and S dipping which is more healthful and durable for the nails. I highly recommend Kelly Vo. I have had a fairly good experience every time at this place. My best one yet was with Ivy though. She took the time to look at the shape of my nails and make them look and feel nicer. She cut them short just like I wanted them and she kept the conversation going the throughout my appointment with her. I liked her work and I'll be back to see her. read more

I got two manicures done here. The first was gel. The manicure itself was okay, but the polish didn't go to the edge of my nails or to my cuticle. So since the polish didn't go all the way to the sides, I left with it already looking slightly grown out. Additionally the gel chipped after less than one week, which has never happened to me before. I got a pedicure in the same appointment that was lovely and still looks amazing (this wasn't even gel!) I went back one week later to get the gel removed and a normal manicure done, since the gel mani already looked grown out and had chipped. I really expect a gel manicure to last longer than one week, but I thought it might've been a fluke. I had a different nail artist but for the second time the polish didn't reach the edges of my nails and the manicure is overall messy. In their defense, appointment was at 6:30, and I realized that they close at 7 when I got there. I appreciate them squeezing me in and I totally get wanting to rush towards the end of the day. I would've been fine with a mistake or two due to the late appointment, but I really just want my entire nails painted. Overall the people are really nice and accommodating, and their acrylics look amazing. Personally after trying a gel and regular manicure here I probably won't be going back for those. I may go back for another pedicure! Pictures attached are the second regular manicure, not the gel. These were taken 15 minutes after the manicure, so my nails have not grown out. read more

I had a hard gel fill with Vicky today. She was very nice but she did not do a very good job. I have been to other places that do a much better job. The clear gel had steaks through it and the polish did not come out shiny, there was polish on my skin that I had to ask her to remove. I will not be coming back. This place is very overpriced! read more

I was running about 10 minutes late for my Saturday morning Brazilian wax appointment and tried calling ahead, but could only reach an automated system. When I arrived, I was turned away because their next appointment was in 15 minutes. What was even more frustrating was that the staff kept pushing me toward sugaring despite admitting it wouldn't effectively remove all my hair. They then suggested I return later when a more experienced technician would be available. So not only was I denied service, but I was also expected to make another trip because the available staff couldn't perform the service I booked. Poor communication, questionable expertise, and absolutely no consideration for customers' time. Definitely not returning!

I am EXTREMELY picky about my nails, especially when it comes to hybrid gel/builder gel because it is SO hard to find someone who actually knows how to do it well, and Vanna absolutely crushed it. Not only is she insanely talented, but she's also just the sweetest human. Warm, welcoming, easy to talk to, and somehow incredibly meticulous while also being super efficient. She paid attention to EVERY detail without the appointment taking 14 business days. She helped me pick colors, gave design suggestions, and totally understood the vibe I wanted. The shape? Perfect. The application? Flawless. My nails look clean, glossy, natural, strong, and expensiveeeee. And honestly, you can immediately tell she genuinely cares about her work. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy. She knows hybrid gel/structured gel so well, and that alone is worth its weight in gold because finding a tech who specializes in it is nearly impossible. I have been going to Gloss and Feathers lounge over year and half. I love working with B, she does an amazing job and every time i go anywhere people complement me on my manicure and pedicure and my color choice! B is very hip and she knows her colors well! I love the entire staff, very professional, kind and friendly. The owner a lovely woman name Michlin she is not only caring and professional, she truly cares for her staff and customers. I recall a time when a customer came in and complained about a service that was clearly no ones fault, but the owner with her grace apologized on behalf of her staff member and offered the customer $20 gift certificate which to my surprise the customer was not happy and wanted more. What was interesting it seemed the customer had an agenda she was keep pushing the owner to a corner hoping she would snap and lose her cool so can ask for more money, but what I loved about the owner not only she didn't lose her cool she remained calm but above all KIND and Respectful! I came here taking into account the rate and reviews which is 4,5. And was really disappointed. I did mani and pedi. Spent over $100. Not counting tips. Did just matt nails and foil for 2fingers. What did i get? 1. Uneven surface. 2. Had to file my nails after coming home, as the shape was different and again uneven 3. By the end of the day the foil and the matt finish pilled off. I am giving 2 stars as the hospitality was good. I did not like how clean was the place. Thought could go there if the nail professionals were good. I was served by the best one as far as i was told. And got this. Now i have such a sharp surface on my nails that cannot play with my newborn or even change the diaper, as i will scratch him. So what i expect from you is to refund my money as i do not want to come for fixing my nails. I would rather take a chance and go to other salon then come back. read more

Whenever I get my nails done here my polish will stay intact for several weeks. Usually, I have a basic manicure but recently I've been trying the gel manicure. I've been extremely happy with the results. It dries quickly underneath the heat lamp and I don't have to wait around for the polish to dry. I also don't have to worry about my nails getting smudged or chipping later. Another thing I would recommend about this place is their facials. You wouldn't think a nail salon would be a good place to get a facial but they'll prove you wrong. They really give you the works with steaming your face, removing black heads and exfoliating for half the price of those fancy spas. read more

I have been going to Kathy (owner) for almost 20 years. I have followed her to many salons. She now is the owner and I cannot say enough great things about her and her work. I started using SNS (Dip) about a year ago and would never go back to acrylic. The one problem I found at other salons was SNS colors were limited. Here they have hundreds of colors to chose from. I come from Goodyear all the way to Scottsdale to get them done. Please give them a try they will not disappoint. read more

I and my friend came to this nails shop last week for her birthday. We got the best pedicure ever. The staffs there are so awesome, they r very friendly and do such a good job. My friend even got 20% discount and a CND lotion for her birthday gift (they always have special for every occasion). Another thing that I like about them is they use the liner for every spa tub. Love this place!! Lisa has been doing my SNS & she does a great job. They are super thin & even. I have always had an issue with anything other than acrylic staying on my nails for longer than a few days and my last SNS manicure stayed on for almost 3 weeks without breaking or coming up. Worst nail salon experience I have ever had. I paid $110 before tip, including a $27 basic…read morepedicure, and this was the final result. The acrylic is extremely thick, uneven, misshapen, and lifting/curving upward. The undersides were left rough and unfinished, and several nails had to be redone multiple times. During the service, the technician burned my fingers with the electric drill while redoing two of the nails--twice--and they still came out looking terrible. I only chose the most basic pedicure because, after seeing how the manicure was going, I did not trust them to do anything more. This workmanship was nowhere near worth $110, and I left with painful fingers and nails that need to be completely removed and redone elsewhere. I would not recommend this salon.

Imagine you going to get your nails done for your birthday and a week later your nails start to…read morelift and another week later they pop/break off. Then you reach out to the owner only to be told that you can't be refunded or have your nails fixed if that's what you're looking for, when you only called to question if this normal or not for your nails to look like they've been done for a month and it's only been a week and some change. Then be told you can come get them fixed but have to pay. I shouldn't have to go out my way to come back to the shop to pay more money because my nails were rushed and not done properly! The owner sky is super rude and I will be disputing the charge with my bank and hopefully I get my money back because I sure enough deserve it. Don't say I didn't try to resolve this matter before escalating because I made three attempts! Do better. All I asked for is for them to be fixed, then a refund because of the combativeness. You left me no choice. The first screenshot is messages I sent on July 11th, just 10 days after I got them done. The other messages are between me and the owner today, July 18th and the pictures I took of the other nails. Horrible! So far 6 nails are trash. Edit to respond to owner: there's no full concept to give. I said what I said and I stand on it just like you are with decisions you made by not making this right. Stop being defensive, argumentative and take responsibility. I'm not the first to complain about nails breaking quickly after a service, look at your google reviews which you have responded in an aggressive way. 3 days. 5 days, a week later it doesn't matter! Most nail salons give you that weak window to reach out for any complaints. I will never step foot in another nail salon because it's a waste of money, time and energy that comes along with piss poor results and customer service. The time you're going back and forth with me you should be using to put more effort into your service! About context about the grow out you're not making any sense. "Grow out" should never be used as an excuse for a horrible manicure job.
