My man and I were in town for a wedding and needed to grab dinner. Glory Days was recommended so we headed there. Tons of parking, very easy to find, and no wait, so we were immediately seated. We told the waiter we were from out of town and upon finding out that it was our first Glory Days experience, we were brought a free appetizer sampler so we could try everything (the wings and the mac and cheese bites were awesome!). For our meals, I had the Smothered chicken which was fantastic! Tons of food, very well seasoned and cooked. My man had the chicken tenders and the nachos. He really enjoyed everything, especially the tenders. Great experience, would definitely recommend!

When we first arrived, we were told there would be a five minute wait so we sat and stood around for about five minutes, which was no issue and we had asked for an outside table and we were quickly seated outside however, that's when the fun began. We were there, five minutes, then 10, then 15, then 20, and soon after the 20 minute mark one of the servers that walked by us several times noticed us because my wife was staring at her and she stopped and asked if had been helped, to which we answered no we have not. I stated we've been here over 20 minutes so she said let me get your beverages. So she went and got us our Arnold Palmer drinks, dropped them off but did not return for an additional 10 minutes totaling about 30 minutes before anybody took our order. The ironic aspect of the entire situation was that there were many servers and buss personnel coming in and out from the restaurant to the patio. No one looked our way, they all looked away from us with separate agendas requiring their linear focus on their tasks so no one stopped to ask if we had been served. During all of this, I called the main number to the restaurant to ask for a manager, and was told by the hostess that the managers were too busy to come to the phone and she asked if they could call me back, so I gave her my number, but I never received a return call. So, I went on Facebook to track down customer service to ask them what's going on and if somebody could come out to the patio to talk with us and take care of our dinner. At the 30 minute mark, the manager did come out and it was the same exact time that the owner had called to tell me that she had just left the store and I said oh that's OK. The managers out here now so we can get this resolved. However, the owner was really nice and turned around and came back after a very busy day and apologized, and took care of us bringing us silverware and straws and told us she was going to comp our meals and then we could have dessert too, which was very nice and gracious. However, as soon as the manager left, as well as the owner we were at the mercy of our server who was completely overwhelmed, forgetting my refill 3 times and then never coming back with the ketchup for the dinner. We felt bad for the server and left her a good tip, but clearly she needs some guidance and some support to learn how to handle a situation involving poor timing and customer service turning it into a positive outcome for both parties. The atmosphere was nice. The place was pretty clean and when we were sat outside, the patio had three other table tops with customers and the interior seating was probably at 80% capacity with a good many people sitting in around the bar area. We knew this because the server was continuing to go in front of the door by the patio, taking care of the customers inside at the table near the window window, but did not come through to ask us if we needed anything hence the leaving off the ketchup and taking three trips before we were able to get a refill on my beverage. Again, the server was very nice. She just needed somebody to give her support and back up to help her deal with all of her tables, missing our table and taking care of everybody's needs. As you can see from the pictures, the patio is not that busy but kudos to the kitchen for turning out really a nice pretzel appetizer as well as salsa and chips with a refill of salsa. She then promptly returned several minutes later with my all-American burger and my wife's buffalo chicken sandwich. With all this occurring we decided not to book the Father's Day special dinner as we figured the place would be bogged down with a full seating, compared to today's moderate business. The server returned and we chatted. She had the bill in her hand which she carried away, but first asking us if we'd like to go beverages, never once asking if we'd like the dessert offered by the owner. My wife and I were thinking of making this our Wednesday dinner spot, but after all this we decided it would be best if we look elsewhere. We appreciate the meal comp, but as soon as management left it went back to what we experienced before they arrived at our table.

Came here because they have so many TVs I was hoping to watch the inauguration on at least one of them. Politics aside, it is a historic event. Samuel B refused to allow this to be shown on any TV at all. After the meal he backtracked saying it would be possible on only some TVs. I guess I'm supposed to come back in four years and try again? Disgraceful!

QC on to-go food is lacking. We ordered fish bake orders that were supposed to come with tartar sauce (not there). Caesar salad received with no salad dressing. Butter packets included with hot food container and they all leaked out. Luckily we were able to create our own tartar sauce at home. The fish bake was tasty and baked potato was well cooked and I used butter from home. Topper was getting the pit of an avocado in my guacamole.

I've been to Glory Days a handful of times. This past time I went I decided to order the BBQ Chicken Bowl which was delicious. The sweet taste of the chicken mixed with a bit of spice from the sauce that comes on top was great. It was pretty filling even though the portion on the plate looked a bit small. The table also ordered some appetizers: the mild boneless wings and the shrimp knockout. I really recommend the shrimp knockout. There were some drink mess ups at first but the waiter was very accommodating and was quick to fix. Good service overall.

The service here is always top notch. Servers are polite, attentive and almost always on top of refills and checking in. Food always comes out fresh which has been an issue at some of the other area Glory Days. read more

Went to lunch here today. My daughter took me to lunch with the kids. We were seated right away. Given specialty menus but never told menus were at end of tables. There hamburgers and boneless wings came out fine. Unfortunately my meal had lots of problems I had to ask for sauce. Then I noticed onions were missing. When I finally got servers attention she curtly said I'll have them cook some. Off she went. I had to wait ten minutes by then everyone else was finished with their lunch. No refills on drinks till she brought check. Took sandwich home so my family didn't have to wait on me. Sorry to have been a bother Glory Days Coleslaw was good read more

Came here after hiking Harper's Ferry just in time for the Skins game! We were seated at the bar area and the atmosphere was a lot fun. There are a lot of TVs surrounding your table with personal speakers for each table so you can tune into any TV you want to watch. We ordered burgers and some grilled boneless chicken bites in attempt to be a little healthy and all turned out to be really good. Service was excellent even though it was a very busy football Sunday. read more

Where to start. I have gotten take away/curbside twice now and I think this time was the icing on the cake. Got a wrap and it was so full of stuff that it puts other restaurants to shame when it comes to wraps/burritos. It wasn't so full that all the insides fell out but it was full enough that there wasn't left over tortilla. And it was so good and very filling. I was only able to make it through my wrap, barely, and didn't touch the fries or side salad. The other 2 people in my party got the same wrap and then one got the Triple Play and he said his only complaint was not enough shrimp. He really enjoyed that but loved the ribs and chicken too. And we didn't wait long before she brought us our food out to our car. And the food was still hot which is what you want. The last time we got strawberry lemonade (we didn't get it this time) and that was really good and our only complaint with that was there wasn't enough. That't the problem when you get take out or curbside is there are no refills on drinks but that's fine. So I would definitely recommend them. Can't speak on service when dining inside as we have never dined inside due to COIVD19 but pickup is quick. read more

This location is open til midnight, so came back for drinks and bar food. I ordered the Crab/Cheese/Pretzel which was AWESOME!! Crab was great and you could taste it, not the fake stuff. The pretzel and cheese was enough to eat the entire plate. Excellent!! read more

Here we are again at our favorite Ranson restaurant. We had the Philadelphia Cheesesteak egg rolls. Yum! Sauce delicious! I had the fish fry. Two large pieces of fish, coleslaw, fries. All was delicious! My husband had chili with cornbread and clam chowder. All delicious! The best was Chloe, our waitress. What an efficient, polite young lady! Oh, and a free dessert for my birthday. Worth signing up for. Peach Cobbler to die for. Got to speak to the Manager and she is also delightful! read more

I really enjoy going to this restaurant when I want to watch football, hockey or baseball games. I've made a couple of friends there including some of the staff. I thought I was going to feel awkward being there by myself, but everyone in there were so friendly and the food was delicious! I highly recommend it if you want to stop by to eat something delicious and different. Their menus and the beer on tap change with the seasons, I think that's impressive. I'm glad I found a friendly place to hang out since I'm new to the area. read more

I'm giving a 4 star review today based on a combination of visits. Usually I have a great experience and service is great. Service was great today and I have no complaints about that. I normally order a margarita with dinner. They make their own sour mix and the margaritas here are normally the best around. I don't know if it's because it's St. Paddys day and they were busy, but two margaritas and an Irish coffee were ordered and all 3 drinks weren't worth ordering at all. read more

Dinner tonight at Glory Days was a very good experience. We met some friends from my former workplace, before retiring to the southwest, for an enjoyable meal and good fellowship. I had the flatiron steak which was cooked perfectly along with two good sides. My wife had a southwest BBQ chicken salad which was also very good. We will return when back in the area. read more

I was between a 2 and a 3 star but decided to go for 3 based on the fact that they do have a large menu and it includes the impossible burger which is really great. I'm not saying I would NEVER come back here, but it would never be my choice. Service is just fine. If you only want to come for a few drinks and watch the game then this place will get the job done but the food is just awful. We started with the buffalo dip (one of our favorites) and we couldn't believe how badly someone could butcher this simple dish. Tasted like microwaved, canned chicken with some buffalo sauce drizzled on top. My fiance went back another time with some friends and got sick afterward. I would stick to drinks here. read more

We've been here about 3 times in the last 3-4 months for lunch. It has a laidback vibe and we never feel rushed or ignored when we come here. The servers have always been friendly. Each time we've visited, we're asked if it's our first time dining there. The first time, they explained the menus, told us any daily specials, and told us how the speaker box at each table works (which allows us to tune into the sound of any of the TVs around). I haven't been here for a game yet but think it would be a great place to hang out and watch an NFL game (or any sports, really). The times after our first visit, we've received a "thanks for coming back and dining with us again." The food is delicious and average price for a sports bar. They have weekday specials including Wing Wednesday ($ .60 for boneless and $ .80 for original) and a half rack of ribs for $10.99. We really liked the Hellfire Burger, Oktoberfest Platter, Pub Chips, Buffalo Chicken Dip, and Santa Fe Egg Rolls. read more

This was my second visit to a Glory Days (first time at this location). It was "Wings Night" (discounted wings), so I got the wings. They have a very wide variety of wing options... a bit too wide of a variety for me to want to choose completely on my own, so our server made some very helpful recommendations. The atmosphere was great. Lots of TVs, with a sports emphasis, which is great... but it wasn't intrusive enough to make a non-sports fan reluctant to dine there. read more

Awful. Waited for 10min for a waiter. Finally went to talk to the hostess. Looked annoyed that I asked to be served and explained that no one was assigned to the patio. Maybe that is something you should have mentioned when I asked to be seated at the patio. And yes, after I made the request, waited for another 5 min and no one showed up. Came to finally use our Christmas gift cards on Monday burger night. Fast service and friendly waitress. Downside was 3 of the 5 of us ordered the same burgers but with different toppings. Food runner was not aware of which was which. Mozzarella sticks also are basic frozen I could get from the store, but the onion rings were great. One of our party stated burger was a little overly seasoned. All in all not a bad experience and would come back again. For being packed, we were all pleased with the service. read more

I've been coming here for years and I always ask for extra condiments, especially on Wednesday wing nights, and have never had an issues until now. The manager on duty tonight, Alison, informed our server we could not have any extra condiments with our food after we asked for extra while ordering. Glory Days-Why do Eskimos like seal blubber? cause it's all they got. Ok so in civilization I wouldn't come here. That's not say it's bad. What glory days is is a decent regional franchise sports bar. All in all it's pretty well run. It's night and day from say Buffalo Wild Wing and actively managed unlike the aforementioned poultry amputators. It is possible to have a decent meal here. There is bar food but unlike say Applebee's, who's menu I can only assume was authored by a 13-year old obese Canadian, there is adult food here. The hamburger is pretty good. The wings are good and there are many choices sauce. I always specify crispy. On rare occasion I've gotten flaccid skin wings. The beer selection follows the corporate trends in craft brewing. Counting 7 crafts 4 BMC (bud,Miller,coors). I'm being generous and counting blue moon and Sam Adams as craft. If you just hit lottery you can get a mixed drink. They have wine but minimal offerings. Service is good. I would probably give it 3 stars if it weren't for the manager Jason. He's on top of things. I'm certainly grading it on the West Virginia curve. There's a million TV's all the sports packages. Don't go during Steeler games unless you want too meet the worst sports fan in America Super Steeler Fan #1 who grew up in Charles Town and who has never seen a Steeler game in person. Now if your one of those people enjoy each other. The crowd is typical of Ranson: Jockey spawn, New Jersey ex-pats, stressed out DC commuters, bandwagon steeler fans, people who ask for nachos hold the onions/tomatoes/lettuce. read more

This location honestly reminds me of Cheers, or a local dive bar. It might be a chain but the employees really make the place feel like home. I went with a friend who frequently eats there knew his drink order and how to fix his salad. The food is not bad and great service, clean and friendly. read more

I have a very special story to share about this place! I was there today Sunday 12/7/14 with my wife and kids, we had a wonderful expierience. My daughter who is a very picky eater(she's 6) had a very special request she wanted filled. With that being said our server went back and got the chef! Nick I believe was his name, nick payed close attention to my 6 year olds every need he even went out of his way to make her a fun and whacky desert to go with her meal! She said after meeting Nick today she even has aspirations of being a chef! I wanted to say thank you to Nick and the rest of the staff at glory days! I had seen this place online and liked the looks of it, so put it on our "need to try it" list. Our friend ordered the burger with egg and fries, and crab mac n cheese, and a blueberry tea. It was over $26. Burger was on dry side, fries were nothing special and crab Mac and cheese was dry. I had chili, small regular mac n cheese and ordered appetizers- crab dip with pretzel and fried pickles. Chili was cold, regular mac and cheese was good, pickles were good but it was served with tartar sauce as a dip, crab dip was tasty but it was poured over the pretzel and the pretzel was really chewy- maybe microwaved? My husband had 12 wings with some type of Korean sauce and he ate 4 and stopped, he said they were dry. Our bill was over $60. Food was a good concept, but poorly executed in general. Our waitress was amazing though, and we really enjoyed having her wait on our table. To sum it up, food ranged from decent to blah and we won't be returning. read more

My wife and I had a great experience. The server constantly checked on us to make sure everything was ok. The service was very friendly. I had the turkey burger and my wife had the prime cheese burger w/out bun. The boneless wings appetizer were great but their hottest sauce could be kicked up a couple more notches. Ate lunch and food was fine. I picked up my glass of tea and moved it to the other side of the table as we were leaving and the light hit my glass and I noticed there was dried up lipstick on the glass rim. And I was not from me I was using a straw and I don't wear lipstick. I mentioned it to the wait staff before I left they apologized it wasn't their fault. Good food and service. We enjoy the the atmosphere and patrons however, it is pretty irritating that they broadcast CNN (propaganda) on the TV right beside the main big screen over the bar. Most people would agree positioning CNN broadcast in the main viewing location say's volumes about ownership and management. read more

I'm glad they brought back their rueben sandwich, really good. Love the crabcake. The coleslaw, much better after we add salt and pepper. Question?? Why turn off Fox News off at the front entrance to add a baseball game, which our whole table acknowledged, not one person we could see was even watching, leaving CNN running in the back all night? I wondered if it was fresh or not the bottom was rather soggy. I think it's full of flour or starch and mostly a heavy cream or something, there was very little cheese flavor and nothing else really no vanilla or amaretto or any of the usual flavors.

We got seated around 7:15 tonight. There were five of us who wanted to enjoy wing night. We ordered an appetizer, wings, and a burger. Our appetizer came out around 7:30, I had to get up and ask our waitress to refill our drinks, our wings didn't come out until around 8:15. By this time we had already talked to a female manager who immediately had a stand off attitude. Once we receive our meal the wings and fries were cold. So we asked for the manager again who offered us more fries. By this time it was 8:30, we were over eating and just wanted to leave but she kept talking and insisting we get more fries (with an attitude). It wasn't that we wanted more food the problem was that it took so long to get our food and then it was below mediocre quality. She's kept talking making excuses and we asked for a number to corporate. At this time another manger comes out that's a males and offers to take the appetizer off and fries off the ticket (which we didn't each due to quality) and didn't understand the fact that we had almost been there for two hours. Let's just say the managers were not accomidating, service was terrible, and the food was just as bad. I do not reccomend this restaurant, as well I will not be returning. read more

First things first none of the cooks are wearing a mask , I'm sitting at the bar none of the bartenders have a mask properly on either. Ordered the knock out shrimp they were pretty good , though the sauce was not coated nicely on the shrimp , i had more than a couple plain fried shrimp. - the wings are the only reason i come here . I'm leaving one star because during the middle of a pandemic you'd think a corporate establishment would have some sort of standard when it comes to wearing a mask. 0n a recent visit to Harpers Ferry, my husband and I decided to stop at Glory Days for dinner. We enjoyed our entire meal. Our waitress Janet was extremely pleasant and very efficient. The manager, Justin Allen came by our table several times to make sure we were completely satisfied with our meal and service..The food came out in a reasonable time prepared the way we wanted it.
