When I walked in I had my pregnant lil heart set on a burger, and they were out. Here is where the unfortunate day could've just gotten worse, but Jess (the waitress working) absolutely did not let that happen. She almost had me crying three different times while I was waiting for to-go order. Were they able to get the exact thing that I wanted, no. But did the way they handled it, made for an incredible experience. I will be going back and often. I got my food within 20 minutes of walking in and placing the order, and honestly, it was some of the best mac & cheese my toddler & I have had in a very long time. If you do go, and you have the chance to get a Smashburger, it is 100% worth it. If you ever get an itch for seafood or soul food, this is THE place to go. read more

We see alot of posts about Stuckey's on social media so we decided to stop in and check them out. The spot is spacious, bright and clean. You do get hit with the smell of fried food when you enter Tables are well spaced. Full bar. Owner and server were both friendly. Menu is posted on facebook daily. Dine in and carry out. Several big screen TVs. Food came out as it was ready vs course. We shared everything so it was fine, if not and dining with friends, it would have been akward Everything was flavorful. We ordered a catfish dinner and 12 large crabs to go. Friendly helpful staff. Catfish dinner (yams and collards sides). earne a thumbs up. The crabs were another story. We paid $85 for seriously overcooked crabs . How many times had these been reheated? The claw meat was leathery and the legs which usually offer small sweet morsels were like rawhide shoelaces. The back from n was ok but dry. While I can't comment the entire menu if you are looking for steamed crabs look elsewhere, maybe Mother shuckers or Just in Time. read more

The only positive thing I can say is that the waitresses were friendly. Things started off oddly when we ordered drinks. They had a cooler in the front with bottled beverages. The lemonade and tea were in individually packaged containers that appeared to be made in-house, but they were completely unmarked--no ingredients, no descriptions, nothing. Oddly enough, the seals didn't appear to be broken. We tried the blueberry lemonade, which was just okay. I ordered the crab cake dinner and was told it came with two sides, so I chose fries and potato salad. My friend ordered the steak and cheese. When the food arrived, it was served in takeout containers. I opened my crab cake and immediately knew something was wrong. It was a strange color I didn't recognize and looked more like a giant doughnut than a crab cake. When I cut into it, the inside looked yellow, almost like mustard. There was very little crab meat, and it was honestly disgusting. My friend's steak and cheese wasn't any better. The meat looked like it had been chewed up and spit back out. It was served on a sesame seed roll, and my friend actually asked if it was mystery meat. I wish I had taken pictures. The potato salad came in a pint-sized container but was gross. The fries were the only somewhat edible item, but they were very dark brown and looked like they had been sitting in old grease. Then came the billing issue. My total initially came to $42 for the crab cake and two sides. After questioning it, I was told I had been charged for three sides by mistake, so $8 was removed. Yes--$8 for a side dish. When I questioned why I was being charged separately for the sides when I had ordered the crab cake dinner, I was told that only the crab cake dinner came with sides, not the sandwich. The problem is that I never ordered a sandwich. There was no bun with my crab cake, and the employee specifically asked which two sides I wanted, leading me to believe I was ordering the dinner. In the end, I paid: $22 for a crab cake "sandwich" (without a bun) $8 for potato salad $4 for fries Total: $36 for one of the worst meals I've ever had. After I paid, the cashier informed me that she had forgotten to charge me for my drink and wanted to add it on. At that point, after spending $36 on an awful meal and feeling like I had already been overcharged, I just stared at her. Thankfully, she decided not to charge me for the drink. My friend paid $19 for the steak and cheese and $3.50 for a drink--also far more than the food was worth. Friendly staff cannot make up for poor food quality, confusing pricing, and an overall terrible dining experience. I would not return - EVER. read more

We ordered crabs, Maryland hot wings, a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. Everything was good. The wings were a highlight, This is my new favorite sauce and they were large juicy and perfectly cooked. The fries were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. The crabs were a bit disappointing in that the meat in the legs was dry but the body meat was good. I guess this used to be a store but now just has food. It has a sparse interior. The waitress was great. The food came out quickly and we always had retails on time. They played Raggae music the entire time. A variety would have been preferable. read more

Walked in on a cheeseburger craving. Saw their pics on the door and thought maybe I'd have some bbq. Walked in and asked for a menu, was told to scan the QR code on the table. It took me to their facebook page. The way he told me to scan the QR code had me scared to ask anymore questions. I asked if I could get a smash burger and fries well done, he said " every smash burger comes well done". I reiterated I wanted my fries well done or crispy This is my 2nd burger from here and will be my last time walking in there.
