Placed a to go order and and when I got home the whole order was messed up. The lady that took our order for it right. The kitchen messed it up. I ordered two impossible burgers one with just cheese and the other was a mushroom Swiss burger that had a beef burger instead of impossible I was unable to eat it. I would like to know what you will do about it. Getting a refund would be nice. Also I would like to let you know it ruined my sons birthday. The kitchen should be more carful. I've only visited this location a couple times but each time (months between visits) the service has been abnormally slow. All aspects, order taking, service, kitchen times, etc were longer than expected even though they weren't very busy. The food is what you would expect from the chain. Nothing to write home about but certainly not greasy spoon. The price points are very high for the area and when compared to local competitors. The menu is huge, good variety, ever changing specials, a good beer list, and many cocktails to choose from. I would return again in hopes of a more time efficient experience. read more

Hey there on my way back from my first vacation in over 10 years. Yes I was addicted to my job silly me. My son went to college in Shepherds town WV and this was our favorite place. So on my way back from Tennessee my GF and I pulled over in WV for the evening. I went back to Glory Days and boy I was not disappointed. You walk in and its nothing but Televisions and sports, they even have small TV's at certain booths. Of course you have to order their wings that come in different flavors of your choice. I had Teriyaki, garlic and bbq. The wings are larger then what we get here in Mercer County and the taste was amazing. I ordered a burger and my GF ordered a salad. Overall experience was average. Heard some great things about this place so decided to stop by and switch it up. The place was extremely crowded which indicated a great location. We waited, tops, 20 minutes to seat down. They had Happy Hour, domestic at $3.99. The menu was filled with a great variety of selections from appetizers, salads, tacos, wings and entrees from burgers to ribs. I chose the prime burger! At first appearance, I was not happy, it seemed very small and completely overshadowed by melted cheese. Subsequently, biting into the burger changed my perspective. The small burger was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection at medium. The sweet potato fries were good but not enough. Ultimately, this place is a great sports bar. They have these great speakers at each table that allows you to tune into any of the numbered TVs for listening; however, the environment is so loud, cranking that knob to the loudest setting did very little to the amplifying speaker. I can't say I was upset with that as people were simply enjoying their Happy Hour. The waitress was kind and attentive to us. **Updating my previous review from 3 stars to 5 stars.** Since COVID started about a year ago we have taken advantage of their curbside service as well as going back inside once WV opened back up. Everything's is clean, masks are required, and I've seen them sanitizing between customers. Everything has been exceptional throughout the entire COVID process. We don't go here very often because I still think the prices are a bit on the high side, however the food is always great and the people are amazing. We went for lunch on Saturday and sat at the bar to watch some college basketball. The game I was interested in was being shown on a smaller side tv but they changed it over to the large tv behind the bar to accommodate where I was sitting. Our bartender was quick to ask if we needed a refill, and our appetizers (the new shrimp appetizer skillets - HIGHLY RECOMMEND) came out quick. We were having such a good time watching games, chatting with the other customers, having a few cold ones, and eating good food that we stayed for the late afternoon games, too! Their menu is extensive, with something to suit everyone's tastes/diets, and they're always adding something new. My husband has had the meatloaf sandwich twice and said it was phenomenal. The ambiance is usually screaming, ill-behaved children running rampant through the restaurant while the parents are oblivious and drunk. I also work in hospitality so I'm surprised at how someone like Julie (bartender) works w the public. She was extremely rude to our group. Then the situation escalated. She was extremely unprofessional and actually bickered with a customer. Two others said they couldn't believe how rude she was. The only bonus was the other bartender made up for it by actually being nice and professional. When in town visiting family I would actually steer clear of this place just because I'm floored by how unprofessional this woman was. I had the salad and fried cauliflower and I must say it was delicious. The appetizer and my salad was fresh. I asked for no bacon on my salad and they honored my wishes. I didn't taste any bacon on my salad. I highly recommend the fried cauliflower. My friend ate most of it.. I got the garlic buffalo on them it was spicy, but good. You get to choose any sauces you want. It comes on the cauliflower. The appetizer comes with celery and carrots. Waitress was friendly as well. read more

I'm so disappointed! As someone with celiac disease I am limited to where I can go to eat. Glory Days has been my GF go to for years! It was one of the few places that I could go that had separate fryers for French fries and offered a plethora of options. They recently changed there menu & are no longer celiac safe. The only true GF option they have is their bun but if it's contaminated by the kitchen than it's pointless. If you've got celiac disease, stay away. read more

This is really the only pub/bar I'll go to in the Charles Town/Ranson area. They always have several good beers on tap, and the food is usually very good. Service is what you'd expect from a chain like this, but if you sit at the bar, you'll get faster service. Arrived about 415 walk in, it's not very busy. Good, so we sit down at least 10 minutes. Go by before we get in a drirecorder. You're breaking up with me. I know this is a good thing. We wanted to soup and salad but I ask him if it is all remain in the salad. I said I don't want it if it is, I will order something else. He said he will check he comes back with 2 salads Mine was all romaine with 3 leaves of spinach. Covered with tomato, cucumber and about a quarter pound of cheese. Then we get the soup at best, a little over room temperature. Then we get the check It had 2 drinks, 2 soup and salad, and a extra bowl of soup that we did not order. Everything took forever to get done. It was a simple soup and salad. Almost impossible to screw up, and yet they managed to. If Yelp had negative stars, they would have gotten 5. After near 35 minutes of waiting they served the guy next to us, who I should add showed up 15 minutes after we sat down. We didn't order anything that should have spent more than 7 minutes in the deep fryer, but for some reason it's now been 40 minutes of waiting. We have been here a few times.....have had burgers, salads, sandwiches and the last visit had the Friday Fish Dinner. The fish was 'deeply' fried....and all you could taste was oil. We are staying a few miles away and this time we did Order to Go. I loved how the girl asked prior to my order if there were any allergies. That's awesome. I was not happy that the fish, fries and onion rings were soggy by the time we returned (which was about 10 minutes, tops) I think it's due to the Styrofoam container and I think it would be great if they started using the Boxes that most places have went to. If we go back.....we will only eat inside. So far all staff have been GREAT! read more

I stopped in to this location while in town on training and I was pleasantly surprised. I needed somewhere to watch the Charger's game, and this place had a tv with the game on. I loved the speaker system, which allowed me to listen to my game in peace. I really enjoyed the food. Everything came out hot, like from from the fryer/oven. They also had a very respectable beer selection. The service was also very attentive. I came two sundays in a row, sadly i have forgotten the name of my servers. But both were great. I am not a fan of sports bar dining, but this place is an exception for its genre. We've had scores of meals from this place for years now and they are always good. Sandwiches, burgers, mains, and appetizers always live up to expectations. Seasoning is great. Salads are fresh. Seasonal menu items are always appetizing. Crab cakes go easy on filler / high on crab. Their cole slaw is remarkably delicious (weird right? but you know what I mean). Love their chowdah! read more
