Another 12 hours on the road and I was pretty tired but needed some decent food. Something light and quick to eat. I don't normally go to franchise restaurants but it's Sunday evening and a lot of local restaurants are closed. Red Lobster it was! I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I had their coconut shrimp, their roasted brussels sprouts, and a small Caesar salad. It made a great meal. The coconut shrimp was tender and well-done with the wonderful coconut pineapple dip. The brussels sprouts were both crispy and well cooked with a great glaze on top. The Caesar salad was absolutely fresh with nice slices of Parmesan. Not a single hint of anything browning or wilting at all. Their herbed biscuits were perfect. Not dry at all. My waitress was very friendly and helpful and made some nice suggestions for me. I will probably visit a Red Lobster again when I need something quick, fresh and delicious. I've avoided Red Lobster because basically... I'm from Maine. So I get my fresh seafood from local restaurants in Maine. But when I'm traveling out of state this ended up being a great choice. Count me impressed. read more

This particular location in Winchester does a great job with food quality, presentation and preparation. The staff is always very friendly, quick, helpful and kind. Three of us had Sunday lunch & thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Jennifer was our server & she was excellent at providing information & addressing any questions we had about the new menu design & layout, food items, etc. Two of us had Endless Shrimp & cheddar biscuits were delicious as well as the shrimp varieties & fries. Come in for endless shrimp and I was definitely satisfied with the overall experience, the restaurant was very clean and well organized like most red lobster locations, the employees were very nice and polite working real hard to make sure everything was good and kept coming back at my table periodically, I had the garlic shrimp, shrimp on the skewers, broccoli and rice for the sides, the server even offered me more food when I was done with my first plate but I was already full so I had to pass on more shrimps but I definitely plan on coming back to this location while the endless shrimp specials are going on. read more

They don't have heat. Their crew are working with coats, knit hats, gloves. This is very sad. The temperature outside is 20 with wind.

Customer service was excellent: Recently ordered a large family dinner to go. When I got home the cheese sticks were missing. They didn't try pretend, gaslight or deny. The manager apologized and made it right. She did say they tried to catch me as I was pulling away (was hungry). Then a gift card arrived in the mail. Way understaffed, don't book on open table they will cancel your booking and put you at the back of the line. We waited 1:15 min to get seated. Server named Hillary apologized over and over again for the wait and did her best to keep up with the tables. Restaurant ran out of clean silver ware and biscuits. Took my Girlfriend and her son and his wife out for the Shrimp fest and it didn't disappoint. From the minute we walked in and was treated by a wonderful greeter who sat us to a very awesome server who was on point our experience was beyond awesome. The place was very clean and the food was awesome from the butterfly breaded shrimp, coconut shrimp, grilled shrimp secures, shrimp scampi in garlic butter and the sides were delicious too. My girlfriend and I had the broccoli and it was great not as al dente as I liked but not mushy either. Her son and his wife had the fries and they didn't disappoint either. I remember when going to Red Lobster was considered a real family treat, having Seafood away from the ocean was special for us. But as all things declined so has Red Lobster. Being alone for Christmas was bad enough but I thought I would treat myself to a nice meal and got the ultimate feast. The order was placed through Uber Eats. Throwing caution to the wind I got two lobster tails and two orders of shrimp. The lobster tails were cold and salty tasting, the shrimp scampi had a really bad taste to it and even the garden salad came with a dressing that was inedible. Absolutely the worst meal we've had in quite awhile. We both ordered the Endless Shrimp. In the past the shrimp was prepared to perfection, not anymore. They are evidently cooking the shrimp ahead of time and heating it up under the broiler. All were overcooked to the point of being tough. My husband and daughter brought me here for my birthday on Veteran's Day. I had been here twice before and the food was OK. I was tired of all of the other local spots so I decided to give it a shot. Big mistake. Our waiter was nice. He didn't go overboard or really make sure our food was OK, and I only saw him twice through an hour and a half meal. The restaurant was busy but the wait wasn't bad, it was the food. I got the NY Strip and Rock Lobster Tail with asparagus. I was so disappointed I almost spoke to the manager, but didn't want to have to wait any longer. The steak was primarily fat which is weird for that cut, but it was completely flavorless. I asked for medium, I received well done. The asparagus also had no flavor, and the bottoms were left on so a large portion of it wasn't edible. The worst and most disappointing part was the lobster. It had ZERO flavor. My entire plate was below room temperature so that was also disappointing. I have been out to a lot of places, but never been to a place where my entire meal had zero flavor. The meal total was $100 before tip for us three and it was a complete waste. The only thing somewhat decent about the entire experience was decent plating. It surprises me that the quality has went down since we last visited, as it wasn't the best before. We ended up staying a few minutes past close, but that wouldn't have happened if we were seated and taken care of in a timely- order. The reviews on this restaurant are all over the place, some good some horrible. Our experience the 3 times that we have eaten at this establishment have been very positive. This is why they earn a 5 star from us. We dined via carry out. Our picnic had crab legs, lobster tail, steak, green beans biscuits and mashed potatoes. They gave us a healthy portion of everything and the food was very fresh. Came with all the forks spoons and this neat tool for working the meat from the crab and lobster (nice touch). This was a very pleasant dining experience. Once you get past the "sticker shock" of the prices and get the food all is well. I enjoyed the shrimp trio. Wow, I must hey I've ordered wrong. I had this craving for a lobster tail and decided to go to red lobster for lunch. The only a lobster I could see on the menu for lunch was for a petite lobster roll. In this case petite means two hotdog rolls with a dab and I mean a dab of lobster, at least they say it was lobster. Couldn't of been more than 2 ounces of whatever it was. Came with fries which were your usual take out fare. I'll have to say my wife had a salad which was decent and both meals came with biscuits that we're great. Bottom line is a salad and four biscuits for $40. I'm sitting here thinking of all the great places I could have had lunch for $40! read more

This was my first Red Lobster experience, and I can honestly say I wish I had gone sooner! Everyone raves about those biscuits and now I know why. Friggin mouth watering. The atmosphere and decor were relaxed and flexible, I feel like I could go there in a hoodie and jeans, or something dressier and not feel out of place. The service was on point, friendly staff from the time I walked in til I left. The caesar salad was fresh with a very flavorful dressing, and it was big! I ordered some chicken tenders and shrimp scampi, which came with a side of mashed potatoes, and it was all fresh, savory, and delicious. Never made it to the bottom of my iced tea or water before a refill, and our server made sure our table was clear of dirty dishes before our next courses came.
