The manager Mike Holes needs to be trained and reminded by the owners of Glory Days that he is in a business where customer Service is more Important than his need to harass customers placing to go orders and parking in to go parking. If I could give Glory Days a negative rating so they could feel the impact of how the word of mouth of the way their manager on duty Mike Holes treated a regular customer will impact their reviews and pockets. I originally typed a book as I sat at the bar for 15 minutes after this occurred waiting for my to go order. It was in the form of a check in and had character limits. Mike Holes confronted me as I pulled a stool out to sit at the bar and place my order demanding that I move my car out of to go parking. Instead of responding in similar fashion to how this adult reprinting himself as the manager of this location, I simply replied this is a to go order and the bar tender had placed the menu down as this was going on. He didn't care, he was insistent that I move my vehicle. His immediate reason is that we need our to go parking and I've got 2 others parked in to go spaces that I don't know who they are but you're the only one I can identify so I need you to move your car. I moved my car one space to the left which was a regular parking space. When I returned to the bar the bar tender asked me if everything was okay and I asked her the managers name. My order was ready 15 minutes after entering the restaurant. As I was leaving I requested Mike the managers card and the young ladies in take out went to get Mike. He comes over in a huff and tears a piece of paper and writes his name and phone number to that location. I walked out the door and hear one of the take out associates ask Mike what's his problem? Mike Holes responded Oh he's just mad because I made him move his car. I immediately turned right around and confronted the manager Mike Holes on his customer service skills and mistreatment of a regular Customer over a to go parking space being used for a to go order. Mike Holes continued to tell me that although my order was a to go order it was not a call in to go order and it was not the same as a to go order. MAKES NO SENSE and at some point this MANAGER should have stopped talking and thought his words and explanation through but NOT TO BE THE CASE this night! I pressed him on the fact that IF he was so sure that the 2 other cars parked in his to go parking spaces were such an issue why don't you have them towed since clearly they aren't doing takeout. He says I wish I could. I asked him why not? He had no answer. But....Ok you wish you could but you're stressing and alienating a customer because you just happen to see me...the Customer that is at the bar placing a to go order as I've done many times in the past when not dining in. One final comment that I made to Mike regarding a female employee that parked in Customer parking. This female worker was walking around from the take out area and back to the kitchen area and around the restaurant. My reason for pointing this out to the manager Mike since he apparently is also the on duty misguided parking police manager...that surely he must need Customer parking free from employee parking....surely this isn't allowed for employees to park in customer parking. I look down and the female employee is actually sitting on the floor in the take out area while I'm talking to Mike the Manager. He looks down and replies oh she's off... Long read I know and I wish I hadn't stayed there for the to go order with this poor treatment by management but after a 12 hour work day this was the last thing I needed and it could have gone a totally different direction. It will be the last time that I or any member of my family and any friends, neighbors and acquaintances that feel moved by my story of disrespect by this manager Mike Holes and Glory Days on Hull ever visit this establishment and Mike Holes is the reason. read more

My husband of forever loves sports. I prefer reading a foreign film but now and then off we go to Glory Days for a bite, with or without a game. I like Glory Days. The food is definitely good and plentiful. The drinks are quite nice as well. The menu selection is about what is expected from a sports bar but the quality is very good. I enjoy the atmosphere at Glory Days. There are always seniors, like me, families with children, young love is well represented, and the sports guys. Each table has a box that can be turned to the game of particular interest. the tables and seats are always clean, glasses and tableware spotless. Got food is served hot, cold items cold. Glory Days is a fine place to go for a quick meal any time. read more

While staying in the area for business we stopped in one evening for drinks. Sitting at the bar, the bartender was decent and somewhat attentive. They have the typical drink selection we're used to at a typical bar. The burgers coming out looked great, they looked better than the wings. Overall, it's seems like a decent place for a burger and a beer or basic cocktail. read more

It's a sports bar so it gets pretty loud especially when big games are on, but the staff if fairly friendly and the food is pretty good. The crab pretzel was delicious as well as the fish tacos, fish and shrimp, and everything else I've tried there. I will say I'm not a fan of their chocolate sauce that comes with there funnel cake fries, but the funnel cake fries on there own were 10/10. read more

Very bad night tonight!! Glory days has some very good standards as far as barfood. And the food tonight was not so bad the jalapeño cheeseburger I had was very good. My wife got a burger also but was not cooked the way she asked for it at all. Our big problem tonight was the service was awful... The people that sat behind us actually sat down after we did, ordered, and ate their food and left before we ever got our food. Most of this problem boils down to the server not being very good. I would not complain except for the fact they have lots of new servers that are having this very same problem there. Both of our entrées were messed up and had to go back to the kitchen. They also did not seem prepared for the holiday today, they were swamped and people waited for a very long time before they were seated. read more

We usually get the $5 Monday cheeseburger or the $10 Friday fish fry. Service quality varies each time from good to barely adequate. The food is always excellent and in large portions. This isn't fine dinning it is American fare done just right. read more

We sat at the bar- easy and fast access to some beer. Isn't that the purpose of life? Yes! I was disappointed that my area of the bar had dried up sauce on the edge and the bartop was sticky. We shifted down and it was cleaner there. When we got out menus and I went to open mine, it was so sticky that the menu made noises when I opened them. Please please clean the menus throughout the day! The battender was nice, she spoke with us, we joked around a bit. We ordered a half order of nachos. The half order was the perfect size, but for the amount of chips on the plate, I sure only got a handful of toppings to eat then with. Half the chips were left on the plate. They did, however, remember the extra sour cream... points! I ordered fresh veggies and cornbread while my friend had the beef on weck. His looked terribly good and he liked it. The cornbread was, as usual, so good, so sweet, and a lot. We took that home. The veggies were seasoned just right, but I will say the broccoli was over cooked while the carrots were undercooked. Disappointing when something as simple as fresh veggies can't be done correctly. All in all, a good place to go as a back up, service is always spectacular, but not my go-to place. read more

1.5 stars, rounded up. This is your run-of-the-mill American grill type place. I've been to this franchise's location about 3-4 times, and it's been really hit and miss. Except it was never a "hit," really, it was more of a graze and miss. Mini sliders were average, warm chocolate lava cake (with raspberry sauce) was pretty tasty (but when is chocolate and raspberry NOT?). One time, I ordered from the kid's menu and it was probably the best meal I had there. It was the "Bambino's BBQ Ribs," which includes cornbread and a side for $6.99. Tonight, I ordered The Rib and Shrimp Combo ($14.99), and there was almost no meat on the ribs (not really the location's fault, I guess..). When we asked that our included side be cole slaw, our server asked herself if the meal already came with cole slaw or not. But she said it probably didn't (with a big question mark), so we went with cole slaw. Lo and behold, she carried it out and we had TWO sides of cole slaw on the plate! So a side of cole slaw WAS part of the dish, and we'd wasted our chance of getting a different side. Even when she saw this, she said nothing! Didn't offer to change the side or even acknowledge it. What the hell is that? We also ordered the 10-Spice Chicken. I tasted 1. And it was dried thyme, buttloads of it. It was also extremely salty, but I'm assuming that's just inconsistency in the kitchen. I don't think I've ever been this mean in a review :( I know a lot of the staff here, too. I feel bad, but not bad enough to shut up about it. I guess it's just a better place to chill and watch the game, have a beer at the bar and enjoy good company. Food comes second, and it comes a little pricey! Oh, but the cheese fries are good. Go with that, especially w/ a beer (not that I'd know)! In my opinion, the chicken wings are the best. I usually order them "naked" as the sauces are good to put on the sides. Always hot , and crispy, and the blue cheese dressing is home made, with loads of nice chunks of cheese. We always turn to Glory Days when in a casual, and family mood. We enjoyed the massive and multiple tv screens to have dinner as we watched the Olympics opening ceremony. so even if you are not into sports, always something good going on! read more

Fantastic food! I love the burgers, the crab dip & the Cobb salad. The Cobb salad is huge & delicious with bacon ranch dressing. Easily enough to share or make 2 meals from. It has tons of toppings: Bacon, egg, cheese... So good. The crab dip is wonderful & creamy served with warm bread. I am very picky about crab dip and this was one of the best I've had in Midlothian. Ah, good ol' Glory Days. Their menu consists of the usual American fare one might expect from a "sports bar," although its hardly limited in selection. Choices range from from fish tacos to black bean burgers and everything in between. Oh, and let's not forget the cheese fries, which are quite possibly the most delicious I've ever tasted. Something about the ranch sauce served alongside these heavenly spud sticks brings it all together...including what I'm sure will be a snowball of plaque in my major arteries down the road. But hey, so long as they treat me with a healthy dose of cheese fries and an IV full of ranch, I won't complain. Braving the crowds on peek weeknights (which, depending upon the sport in season, could be all of them) is not always a pleasant experience. Enter Curbside to Go, an awesome takeout alternative to dining in! I tend to find that most pickup services from establishments similar to Glory Days (talking about you, Outback) frustrating at best, oftentimes resulting in smaller portions, haphazard container packing resulting in food blends that ought not to be, and cold servings by the time one reaches home. If you share these concerns, I implore you to lay them to rest. Glory Days at Harbourside Center has their Curbside-To-Go option down to a science. You'll be ordered, paid for, and eating in under thirty minutes, assuming you live within the immediate vicinity of Woodlake, Brandermill, Deer Run, etc. All in all, this particular location is a must-try for any person, couple, group, or family in search of a filling, tasty meal. I'm not a sports fan per se, so I can't comment on the experience at game time. However, with a dozen+ screens, two projector systems, an expansive bar area, and loads of beer on tap, I'm going to safely assume that the die-hard football fan won't be disappointed. This has become our go to place in the area. Good food and plenty of variety. Only complaint would be a small parking lot and unpredictable wait staff. We've had super fantastic staff, and sub-par staff. My menu favorite is the Clam Chowder - I order this with a slight up charge as my side. Other favorites include - Cobb Salad (Half portion is more than enough one); Asian Bowl; Burgers, tacos - okay - no one has complained about any of the food... I had the fish and shrimp on a not so good wait staff day, and it took too long to come out and wasn't a fresh as I would have expected. I'll try it again the next time I'm there on a Friday. The first time I ate here (2013) I ordered a crab cake that I later vomited out. The second time I came here with a couple on a double date the area was slammed so we stood by the walls edge near the entrance to the kitchen as we waited for our table - we noticed that more than one kitchen staff were not wearing gloves and cross contaminated multiple surfaces. We decided to skip the wait and try another place. Have not been back since. Thank you Yelp for giving me an opportunity to explain why diners should be weary of this outdated crusty restaurant. Came back with my family (it was their first time, my second). The food was so delicious and filling. The kids menu was reasonably priced and my kids commented on how they loved the food. We had the fried pickles for appetizer; they were spears not pickle chips which were crunchy and gobbled up upon arriving to the table. My husband got the glory burger which was huge! He was impressed with the portion (he had to smash his burger to eat it). I had an order of the glory wings and half a Cobb salad. So delicious and filling. Best part about this visit: the service. Jake was our server and he was on top of everything. We did not have any issues with drinks refills, clearing plates and he was fast and efficient. He clearly takes pride in his work; he was very personable. Overall it was awesome experience to counter the first time I went here. Kudos to the team here. read more

My wife and I were looking for a good and quick Friday evening dinner but boy were we disappointed. Our server quickly brought us a couple of waters to start but things slowed significantly from that point. It took too long for our order to be taken but the alcohol was served in a reasonable amount of time and was the best part of the dinner. We ordered the 12 bone in chicken wings, half teriyaki and have Korean. I could not tell the difference between the two flavors. Additionally the wings appeared to be from a package of rejects. Some were broken, a couple were very large and a few were very small. All tasted greasy and not very flavorful. We also ordered the shrimp tacos. Again, they were lackluster and not very filling. 2 tacos and fries for $10.50, not much else to say. The server was just as lackluster as the food. They appeared to only have 2 other tables at the time but they were not very attentive. With all the other choices of restaurants in the area it will be a while before we will give Glory Days another chance. read more

Always a great time at Glory Days Grill. It was a Friday night so the place was packed. Our party of 5 had about a 30 minute wait which isn't bad at all. We got a nice booth seat and ordered a few drinks and appetizers. I ordered the Sante Fe egg rolls which were great. Eventually our group ordered ribs, burgers and the impossible burger/ some type of veggie burger. Everything turned out great, great time and awesome. Your average sports bar, only slightly more geared towards family dining. I would compare this to a Home team Grill if you have ever been there before. The only exception being Home team Grill has better food. I go there usually because it is one of my Dad's favorite places to go. It takes me forever to find something that I want to eat. I do not think the menu choices are as good as they could be. I am not a big fan of burgers, they kids love it here. I usually get up and leave a restaurant if we have sat at a table for 10 minutes and nobody comes over. I was seconds away from doing so when an unknown youth came over and asked what we would like to drink. No name was given. Drinks returned quickly however and our order was placed. Two regular burgers, fries. Pretty simple. Order came out 30 minutes later. Burger was a preformed frozen patty. Wack. Vegetables were fresh. Bun was a brioche style and pretty good. Fries were adequate. Was not delivered by our server, we were not asked if we wanted any thing else. Server never came by again to see how our food was. We paid and got out of there. The service was wonderful, the food was great, and overall a great place to eat! The place was packed when we got there so we had to eat outside, that was no problem, they had fans running and music playing. Our waiter was nice and came back when we needed him. Some waiters at other restaurants leave to help another table and never come back, but here he helped us without disappearing for more than 15 minutes. The food was definitely not a disappointment with this bar and grill, I got the platter of half fried shrimp and half grilled shrimp, the seasoning on the grilled shrimp was incredible, the fried shrimp could have used something, it just tasted like deep fried shrimp that you could get from the deli at Walmart. read more

Was starving when I got here at about 8:30 on a Saturday night. Really wanted a burger and my companion doesn't eat red meat so it's a little difficult to find a "burger" to fit the bill where we were. Menu promised turkey burger so we decided to give it a shot. Ordered buffalo cauliflower wings for app- they had a great crunch but were super saucy. No turkey burger but they had a veggie one so I got the classic and my companion got the veggie and fries. I have to say my burger was very good. Should have taken a photo at the beginning but I mentioned I was starved right? Anyway, we did order dessert- ice cream slider and a brownie sundae. Already photos of the sliders on this site but the thing was, we only ordered one and it came by itself on a giant plate. It was tasty. Can't say the same for the brownie sundae - brownie just missed the mark. But as I said the burger was very tasty - even if they only serve pickle spears which you have to cut up if you want any on your burger. read more

It was a cool night when we decided to check the place out. I wasn't expecting posh but at least a little comfort. Got in there and it felt like I was in a school diner and it was cold. I didn't eat there I just had a couple beers which were ok. My family ate and they enjoyed their meals. Just another typical sports bar but I have been to better ones. I wouldn't bother going there again as there are other bars around here that are much nicer. Not horrible but not worth above three stars. Waitress was great though and service was quick. read more
