Greg was really informative and expedited the whole FFL process. This is my go to shop whenever I purchase pistols online.

For reference, I use Brad's for transfers almost exclusively, so be aware that my review…read moreencompasses that experience. For my purposes, they're almost perfect. Outside being a jaunt across the bridge which is not so fun in the late afternoon, they're pretty close by, have good transfer fees, as well as friendly, knowledgeable, & responsive staff. I've never had an issue getting FFL info to a shipper, they're good about calling when your items are ready to pick up, and they've never had any issues processing some of my more complex transfers. That's about all I can reasonably ask from a local gun shop. There are some disadvantages; I tend to show up when there's no line, but if there's a line, the building is a bit on the small side so given the current madness caused by our esteemed Gavin-Newsome-Backdoor-Buddy, Supreme Chancellor Inslee, and King County's pet psychos in the legislature, it wouldn't be hard to imagine at some point you could end up with a line out the door, though in fairness, I've yet to actually see this happen. There is a coffee place next door, which might help those who are so inclined as the wait can be a while while everyone's transfers are processed, which seem to average 15-25 minutes per transfer depending on how smooth things go. Related, the parking lot is a bit on the small side, and is what I'll term "free form" for at least one decent sized corner of it, so you may need to park at adjacent businesses if things are really slammed, and I would suggest that smaller cars may be preferred, but I've yet to actually have an issue getting a full size truck parked in the lot at least during the times I've been there.

Very little inventory. Website says they have all these guns. Walk in... nope we can order it…read morethough!! Only go there out of desperation like I did. You'll be disappointed like I was. Then off you go to another store hoping they have it.

These guys are awesome. I had a chance to contact this FFL about a week ago. From the moment I dial…read moreup their number, I had a few FFL-specific questions in mind, and their representative answered thoughtfully, and thoroughly. Even though I hadn't ever walked into their shop, they didn't even know who I was, and I had not bought anything from them at that time... they still treated me with the utmost respect. Because of this awesome interaction, I've been saving up to pick up my dream pistol, and I WILL be ordering through Private Sector Arms. Not just because of their respectful, and knowledgeable service reps... but the fact that they are an authorized dealer for many manufacturers including Magnum Research, and Kimber (if memory serves me right). If they place the order, you can save on an FFL transfer fee as you would occur if you purchase a gun off gunbroker...etc. Also, their added integrity, knowing that they inspect each and every firearm thoroughly when a shipment arrives... rest assured your firearm will come out looking fresh. One of the many benefits of ordering thru a responsible and organized FFL such as Private Sector (and not a big box retailer such as Sportmans lol...yea I bash on Sportsman's a lot)

Somewhat overpriced and not necessarily the most knowledgeable (got bad ammo recommendations), but…read morestill 100x better than Cabela's or even other local small shops. Super easy process, extremely attentive customer service, nice people. Helpful and kind to new potential gun owners and non-judgmental, which is almost impossible to find in a gun shop. It'd be near perfect with a bit more selection. Also, they do make custom Kydex holsters for only $100. After bad experiences at other shops, I will likely only be coming here from now on.

Recently made a gun purchase here. Wasn't impressed with their customer service. About 5-6 people…read morehelped me the first time, which was highly unusual. One guy would be helping then walk away then another would come over. It seems a bit disorganized. Also, I was told someone would call when my background check came back, but based on the reviews, I decided to call and found out I had passed with no notification. I reached out by email to someone about another issue, which I later realized was not an issue and my husband made a mistake, but they were very good at reaching out and trying to rectify the situation, which I appreciated. Bottom line, there needs to be better training for the guys at the gun counter. Most of them are knowledgeable and helpful, but definitely a lot of disorganization with helping of customers and getting/communicating information.

If you want to experience a pistol for purchase then this store SUCKS! They have trigger locks and…read morewon't remove them so a potential customer can't check the finger placement or test the trigger - both critical to a well fitting firearm. Store clerk said they can't remove the trigger locks, but I visited two competitive firearm stores and they not only didn't have trigger locks, they encouraged dry firing. Their self-imposed "safety" rules makes them just a displayer of firearms and who needs that?
