After pricing & weighing out the options between Palm Beach Tan & here, I settled on this. It has way more options for a better price. They have sun beds/ spray tanning & skin wellness. Current staff is severely lacking, no one appears to know anything, beds are NEVER clean or ready and today one employee was so RUDE, I almost ended my subscription on the spot. It was the 2nd time I have ever stepped into a tanning salon. The two employees at the front desk were very friendly. The one who attended me was very patient with me, answering all of my questions. She was very knowledgeable and recommended a session. The salon itself is very clean and well kept. The aroma was very nice as well. Poor customer service the last 3 days all around! Thinking of canceling. Even the customer service department was useless.

I've been a customer of glo for over 2 years but anytime there is an issue, the location can't do anything to help me. I'm always told to call customer service and if the phone is ever answered, the process to get help is frustrating. After being double charged, I was told at my location that my account could not be found, even under inactive customers. For a month now, I have been going back and forth with customer service trying to get a refund since I couldn't even use the store credit I had been charged for. After canceling my account, I was charged in the middle of the month for the full price membership. Now I'm back trying to get refunded for this charge. Messy messy processes in this company, and scary financial issues. I loved using glo, but I would not recommend it to anyone now. read more

I just moved to the area and needed a new tanning spot! I'm excited to have found glo, i did research online and knew I wanted a nice place and close to home. I went in for the first service and got hooked. I wasn't expecting what I got! I love the location and the employees. Im big on helpful anf respectful. I go to places like this to enjoy myself so I jumped at the option of bringing a friend to the free spa day! She signed up as well, now we can spa together ! I like how many options of beds and spa services their are. I look forward to staying with glo for a long time. read more

My only complaint is that they require you bring your own eyewear and won't put you in a bed without you showing your eyewear to them. As if we aren't all grown adults with our own autonomy. If you don't have your own, they'll require that you purchase a pair of goggles for $8. It's a stupid money grab. Typically, it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but you'd think for an $80/ month membership they would have eyewear for members to use during their tanning sessions. Heck, eyewear use is included in a cheap $30/month membership at Palm Beach. If any other salon had the beauty angel/red light bed, I'd be going somewhere else. read more

This place is so amazing! I stepped foot in there for the first time today because of the open house they have going on this weekend. You walk in and it's so much bigger than it looks like from the outside! Kept very clean and a nice relaxing spa- like environment. And I've got to say, the staff here are amazing and super sweet, very personable! Not just trying to sell you the highest priced items. I currently go to Palm Beach Tan, but will be cancelling my membership there because they gave me a full one year membership for free here with no enrollment fees or anything! So yeah, I'm already hooked! And they have many more upgrade options and spa options that PBT just doesn't offer. read more

Previously known as Mega Tan, I've been coming to Glo for about two years now. For about $70 a month, I get unlimited bed and spray tans, as well as 8 monthly spa services that have recently been added to the renovated store. There is a hot yoga booth, sauna, a cocoon that makes you sweat with dry heat and has exercise bands to work out your arms while you sweat, a skin moisturizing pod, photo-facials and more. I absolutely love this place and my spa services. They have tons of different sun beds to choose from and wonderful selections of sprays - tones, scents etc. The girls who work there are always so friendly and knowledgeable about products and are always willing to show their customers how everything works. The store is always very clean and has a zen ambiance. I will never tan anywhere other than Glo! I love everything about it! read more

They are patient and kind towards questions if you are new to the services they offer as well. Their pricing is fair and transparent. My favorite place with favorite girls! They will always take care of you, make you smile, and give you all the info you could ever need. I always feel so pampered and relaxed when I come here. The ladies who work here really care about providing a luxurious experience for their clients. I like to give myself at least an hour so I can enjoy the tanning bed, spray tan, and at least one of their spa rooms. Talk to the sales rep about the deals they are running. The last lotion purchase I made came with free upgrades to the more powerful luxury beds and a spa service. Since I typically go to the Arlington locations because they are closer to me, I like to travel to the Bedford location every now and then because they have the mystic tanning booth I love. Let's just say don't judge a book by its cover. The outside location may look a bit sketch.. don't worry.. this place is CRAZY fancy inside!! Beautiful, clean, and prestige condition. Very helpful staff, and they have so many tanning bed options, as well as 2 mystic spray tan booths AND a Versa. It's worth my drive from GP and I love feeling like royalty walking in. These ladies are UNBELIEVABLE! I was just in town for the day and wanted a spray tan - called & was quickly told the price ($30) for a 1 time spray tan. I called Planet Sun prior, and they went on for 5 minutes about their packages and 10 month commitment memberships, even though I told her I was from out of state and just wanted a one day spray tan.. 5 days since the spray tan & I am still a BRONZED GODDESS. My experience at this location was very frustrating. I purchased a Groupon for tanning and when I went to redeem it I could not. The woman I spoke with seemed disappointed as soon as the word groupon came out of my mouth. She looked up my name and asked if I had had a previous account at another location. I said maybe Arlington. The account was 5 years old with a bill of $70. I guess somehow I had forgot. I immediately offered to pay the bill. She said she couldn't help me. I then suggested that I call the location and pay over the phone. She said I could but that still she wouldn't be able to help me since I wasn't a first time client. I was polite, left and went home. I reviewed my Groupon once again at home and it said nothing about being a first time user. My Groupon is now expired. Because of her lack of customer service skills my money and time were wasted and I didn't pay the outstanding bill. Wish I would have gotten her name. I'm very disappointed. read more

I love love love Glo!! The salon in Bedford is amazing, and the employees are all super sweet and they really make me feel relaxed and at home. I recently moved a bit further away, but I will continue to make the drive out to Bedford to this location because I enjoy it so much! The prices are great and they run lots of specials. The quality of the beds are top notch, and they're always clean and the bulbs are always new. If you're looking for a new tanning salon, I really wouldn't look elsewhere. read more

This place was the worse place I've ever been to one of the ladies was up front was so rude and push she wouldn't take my groupon because she said it was for first time customers only but the details said it was for customers who were not active for a while year she then sold me their cheapest package without telling me I could only sign up if I stayed on for 3 months. Plus this place just looks like trash and it's super small and their other amenities if you can call it that like their saunas and not up to temp don't waste your time or money on this place it's so not worth it read more

the front desk girl was such a snot to me! i used to work in a tanning salon and i just moved here and was feeling a little blue so i just wanted to get a little extra boost, but just once because i'll probably be being outside a lot anyway. i walked in and said i just wanted a single session, in a bed with the most UV and the front desk girl said "you know that's not going to do a single thing for you, right?" she didn't even ask me what i was tanning for or if i had tanned before... and she was seriously so rude about it. obviously doesn't care about customers. so upset, probably won't be coming back. i just moved here and was looking for somewhere to tan once in a while,.. guess it won't be here! read more

I have been coming here for going on 7 years now when it was "Mega Tan" and now "Glo Sun spa" and I absolutely LOVE IT here. They always try to up sell which they are supposed to do but when you decline they accept. They never are pushy. I never feel pressured to buy anything (which usually makes me want to buy something). They recently upgraded to having all the spa treatments. My favorite is the "red light" and now they have a hot yoga. They have everything there. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. And they try to remember everyone's name. I know that can be hard but every time I walk in most of the employees already know my name and what I want to do. I recently moved about 20 min away from the nearest location and I still continue to drive there because I can't seem to part ways with them. Their prices are pretty good compared to all the other tanning salons and you definitely get more for your money with all the upgrades. Out of all the 7 years of coming here I really have no complaints. Great place! read more
