I live in Pittsburgh but was in Independence for a special event. My experience at the salon was…read morefine. I had a pedicure and one of the nail technicians helped me find the perfect shade of purple/blue. It had an upcharge of $5 but I decided to splurge and do something new. I also had a set of acrylic nails applied and chose to match them with my pedicure. All was perfect that day (Thursday, 6/25/26) and through the evening. I received compliments on my nails from friends and strangers. However, one nail has popped off each of the 3 days since then. As a general standard, acrylic nails last about 2 weeks and I heard a nail tech relay the same info to another customer. I have not used my hands for anything unusual, in fact, I have not even been doing the typical activities like typing or washing dishes. The way the nails a just popping off randomly can only be related to the poor quality of their application. I have not reached out to the salon yet because they are closed today but will be sharing this review and photos. I am beyond disappointed to have wasted so much money for such questionable product quality.

Also, the massaging chairs here are better than most. Prices are on par with pretty much every other strip mall nail salon. While the polite lady did an OK job on my feet, it was just ... OK. Not bad, but not award-winning. The trimming of my nails was fine. Even the work on the cuticles. Though she used the cheese grater on my feet, as well as a sanding block, I felt like it was just enough, and nothing more. The scrubbing of my calves took her all of 15 seconds. And the color, which I get every summer, wasn't exactly the best paint job I've ever received. She took her time, but I just don't think she was very qualified. My experience could also be due to me going in at noon on a weekday. Still, I would return here.

This location is in the Westlake Mall and it was massive. Perhaps the largest nail salon I have ever been to personally, (I am from California) I sat at a table down the middle near the back. There's a wall of polish, but you will never get near that wall. They will bring you menus with nail colors. I was given two to choose from and one of the two books happened to have a color I was trying to replicate which was perfect, but I think they must have more colors. They just didn't show me others. Definitely busy with lots of people doing Mani/Pedi. I'm not sure about the value. I think it was higher than what I expected to pay for a gel mani and my nails were kind of in a weak state so I felt like they could've prepped my nail bed better for strength before putting on the gel but otherwise, it was exactly what I needed. My thumb nail cracked down the edge into my nail bed a within the week :( Coming from California you always think everything is going to be cheaper outside of California and this perhaps because of the nice location is pricey, it was $43 for a gel Mani. You can decide if that is a value for the quality. They did not offer tea or water. I asked for water but they said, no. This must be the spot for locals as it was busy.
