Recently I've gotten back into going here and I'm so glad I did. The staff is always very friendly. It's a small bakery but with a very good selection. I've gotten a few too good to go boxes from here within the last couple of months and they are extremely generous with the portions they give for those boxes. The first time they gave me a large box full of pastries, a box with four large cupcakes and two loaves of semolina. Went again last night and recieved a box with 8 large cannolis and a large apple crumb pie. The parking lot is very small and in front of the store, so if they're busy you may not be able to find a spot as there are definitely less than 10 parking spots.

The bakery hasn't changed at all in over 50 years, just as I remember it! There's still the incredible smell of baked goods as you walk through the door! I ordered the Chocolate Bobka and a Black and White cookie, which was a must for me! They still make the best Black and White cookies! I was not happy at all to hear they no longer make their Chocolate Eclairs! Back in the day, walking home from HS, I would always pass Walls and I would buy an Eclair to eat on the way home! They were filled to the brim with delicious custard and the dough that held the custard with the chocolate strip on top was over the top amazing! The Chocolate Bobka was a little dry but still very good! Together with a glass of milk it was a great treat that brought back lots of memories! I'm planning a repeat visit next month, the Apple Strudel and Rugalach I remember being delicious so that's what I'll be getting when I return. I hope the owner is there, I'd really like him to reconsider bringing back the eclairs!! If you're in the area, try to visit Walls! Zomick's is in a small kosher supermarket. I find that the prices in general are a bit overpriced especially for a kosher supermarket. The cakes where delicious even know they where expensive. The parking can be a bit of a challenge. The customer service was fine. The woman behind counter was friendly and helpful.

I want to express my extreme disappointment at discovering that you are selling a markedly reduced size sample of the "challah-15oz" bread product by an estimated 30%-40% while the price is the same or more. The manipulation and lack of transparency concerning the SIZE is a huge turn-off. If you must produce this product at a reduced size, I would rather that you raise the price somewhat without reducing the size and or offer a choice of size. I will vote with my wallet unless and until Zomick's demonstrates some sensitivity in this area. Also, your feedback function on your website is not working using Firefox and/or Chrome browsers.

I did some shopping in a few other stores in the area and then left. More than two hours later I got a phone reply that they were out. Clearly. Must be a business landline. What I was told from one of the other merchants is that they take orders and do very nice specialty cakes. They also have their own agenda of when they are there and not. So for other bakery needs go to the bakery down the block at Riesterer"s. I did. I can not say how good Sunflower bakery foods are.
