Really great find for a 395 road-trip meal! Should have taken pictures before snarfing it down I got 2 tacos adobadas with all the fixings and all 3 salsas. I parked across the street in the shade (there was plenty of street parking). There was a nice little outdoor seating area but I ate in my car because of the air conditioning (it was close to 100 degrees out....) Didn't realize until later that they do have indoor seating inside the old gas station! That would have been cool to check out. The meat in the tacos was delicious, with really fresh tasting cilantro and great corn tortillas and salsas (though next time I will ask if they have anything hotter as I like it extra spicy). Service was fast and friendly and it was only $6 before tip. Perfect and satisfying lunch for a long trip up or down the 395. You do have to pay through Venmo or Zelle if you don't have cash but that is quite straightforward as long as you have one of the apps. Will definitely stop here again on my next trip up from LA, would love to try other things on the menu. When driving to Mammoth the 14 and 395 can feel like a food desert, if only occasionally dotted with a fast food joint. But if you can time it right, please do stop at Glenn's! Friendly service, and the food was outstanding. We had a bean and cheese burrito, chipotle quesadilla, and carnitas burrito. Funny thing is, the five dollar bean and cheese burrito was smokin! Purrrr! Get that cheap eat! The carnitas were perfect, slightly crispy and juicy. And the quesadilla was pure yum, the best of all we ate! I would definitely recommend, they had some breakfast options but I opted for a chicken bowl which was delicious. The bowl had rice, beans ( Martha informed me she uses no oils just smashes the beans--as I was looking for a healthier option) lettuce, chicken and drizzled sour cream. Very happy with this stop. Asked for the red and guacamole salsa, they had great flavor but could be considered over powering and doesn't give you a good taste of the meat itself. The adobada and chicken was okay, the asada was delicious as was the chorizo. The mulita was perfectly crunchy! All the tacos had a good helping of meat as well. Stopped by Glenn's on our drive down 395 and in desperate need of a lunch break. I certainly was not expecting to stumble across the best quesadilla I've ever had! This is not hyperbole. The quesadilla was wildly flavorful and was so thin and portable. Nothing was oozing out of the sides and I was able to eat the whole thing without the need of a napkin. Everything was flavored and chopped perfectly and I still can't believe how thin and delicious this thing was. I don't mKe the trip up 395 a lot but this will definitely be the stop I look forward to most next time I do. read more

It's a traditional food truck in front of what was a gas station at some point but don't let looks deceive you! They were on point with their carne asada (we bought 4 burritos) and their salsas were great please don't lower the heat!! Ok, so how many times do you find yourself driving straight through Independence, rushing to get to Bishop in time for lunch? Or home for that matter? Next time, instead of driving through, stop at Glenn's taco truck! You will not be disappointed. The street taco's at $2.50 each are worth it. The beans taste like they've been cooking all day (and probably have been). I would have given them five stars, but I don't want you to think this is a bogus review. I stopped there just tonight because I left my lunch at home and knew I wouldn't make it to Bishop without passing out from hunger. I went for one pork and one beef street taco with a side of beans. The spice and flavor scream at you and before I knew it, I ate them both (well, I left behind one of the shells). The cook in that truck knows just what she is doing - she was able to make some of the little meaty pieces crunchy! This poor town has been hit hard by COVID closures, so give them a few dollars and chow down on these wonderfully tasty tacos! read more

Driving from Bishop back to OC (about a 3.5 hour drive) stopped for some tacos .. ended up getting mulitas (double tortilla with cheese and choice of meat). At 3 dollars they were great! I stopped at Glenn's today and ordered an Asada Burrito. The young boy taking my order was very polite. I asked him if he could have it made spicy and responded yes. After about 5 minutes my order was ready and I headed down the road. I expect a lot more from a $9 burrito. 1st off it wasn't spicy, actually it had zero spice. The only items inside this burrito was pinto beans, rice and a very small amount of Asada. That's it and nothing else. The first half was overpowered by the beans and the second half overpowered by rice. This is the only item I've ordered from Glenn's so I can't speak for the rest of the menu. The take away for their burritos is you will pay for a $9 burrito filled with fillers. Got to be one of the worst burritos I've had. read more
