We booked a Saturday 11:00 am candle making private party in our Airbnb and bought some tiny bites, and setup our mimosa bar! I also bought some flowers, and played some romantic French cafe music .... it was the perfect setting. Ciarra was a wonderful teacher ... very patient! She came early and set everything up for our candle making party. I have done some candle making before with the birthday girl actually, knew a little already but learned so much from Ciarra. It was so fun smelling all the different fragrances and learning how to blend them, and learning about adding colors / blending colors... Besides being so knowledgable, she is so patient and sweet! All of our candles turned out perfectly and we all bickered as to who had the better candle lol... Even my boyfriend who tried to get out of it at first, admitted he had a good time. What happens is there's a lot of people in this area that have second homes here and they routinely refurnish them and then put all of last year's furniture on consignment which results in barely used furniture going for 70-80-90 percent off. Consignors are now required to submit photos online in advance and wait for a minimum of 48 hours for approval. We weren't aware of this change and were told at the front desk to take our item back home and photograph it despite it already being in the store. After pushing back, front desk staff did finally confirm with someone else that they aren't accepting chandeliers at this time, which was the information we ultimately needed. Still the process felt unnecessarily rigid and was poorly communicated. Since this is Misty's new normal, consignors should plan accordingly.

I was shocked at the price so Kirk showed me other products. I still preferred the Stressless designs and quality. Now I'm going to do my living room floor plan and experiment with module pieces to see what I can come up with. I'm sure at that point I'll have even more questions. I highly recommend Kirk Sandland and Scandinavian Designs.
