I would not hesitate to recommend for a project small to large. We had a very small project, which was emotionally a very large project to us. We had recently had our 1957 kitchen cabinets refinished to some expense. I, of course, dropped one of the drawers, splitting the wood. I was bereft. I called Kevin and immediately could tell I was in good hands.. He fixed the drawer perfectly and very promptly, over the holidays nonetheless. Would highly recommend.

My most major concern was the very small standard closet that you would find in hotel rooms. it would be my primary closet for my clothing along with other items. I was moving from a walk-in closet that I had had for 20 years.and was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use this closet effectively. There were also very old lighting fixtures that needed to be taken down and new ones hung. At the end of the project that was done in a timely fashion he was able to give me a closet that was able to fit all of my clothing minus some extra large coats. He also hung really beautiful closet doors with frosted glass that added a very sophisticated touch to it. i'm still not exactly sure how I got all of it in there but I'm sure it had to do with some genius organizers that he built into the closet along with extra pole space. Amazing! The lighting fixtures were also done perfectly and overall, I am very pleased with his work. The one thing that you can count on when you buy a old vintage place like this is that all of the work that needs to be done will probably run into difficulties because of the outdated nature of many things as well as increased cost in time. he handled these roadblock quite effectively and professionally without breaking my bank for sure. i will absolutely use eric again.

This is a review for ONLY my first impression phone call with Mike Goldman (owner) that I had…read moretoday; I will update if we decide to move forward with his company. I sent a written request for a quote through Yelp to several general contractors for a lot of work we will be doing on a new home in PS. His assistant proactively called me and connected me to Mike on the phone, so I did not have to reach out myself. Most other companies wrote back, "Yeah, I can do the work. Call me." eh. Nothing really wrong with that, but if I wanted to call, I would have and if you want the business...make it happen. I respect that they reached out to me, making it easier on me. What I appreciated from today's call is: *his VERY down to earth demeanor; I could see getting along with Mike very easily. *Mike took close to thirty minutes of his time to talk me through his style, and giving me specific ideas he would suggest for the remodel just based off the pictures from the property listing I sent. Awesome and appreciated. This gives me a chance to see how his mind works and if we would be a good match for such a large job. This got his foot in the door and made me decide to get a rough quote from him, which I am only doing with three total companies. *He stressed two things that he specifically addresses which are a notorious problem in this industry - (1) he is value conscious, suggesting alternatives to what you want to do so YOU can choose what you want to spend and where you may want to save....AND (2) he stays to the budget you give him probably more than his customers do. These are invaluable things to consider as he is promising to be done when says he will and on budget. HUGE. His work has been on TV shows and has many jobs being done simultaneously - all due to word of mouth, no real advertising. Other thing to note is he doesn't do pools, but will refer you to a few people that are good that he has worked with before. I am getting three total quotes, including from Mike, and ...so far, I am impressed.

I am in a service business and I am very critical about customer service... so, here goes... These guys DELIVER! My wife decided it was time to update our living room beginning with upgrading the empty nook space with built-in cabinets and shelves. She found these guys and I am so glad she did. They are a father & son who have started a business together. Gotta love that! The did EVERYTHING they promised. Everything was done when they said it would be. The price was exactly what they promised. The work was clean. They took my wife's ideas and her Pinterest collage and created EXACTLY what we were looking for - even when we didn't know. When they thought our idea would look bad, they told us...and offered a solution. When we were not quite sure what we wanted for a particular thing, they brainstormed with us. When we made changes in the middle of the project, they not only rolled with it, but suggested how the changes could be even better. The best part, though, was this: I watched them work. I watched them measure and measure and measure again until each element was perfect. While they worked quickly, they were not in any hurry. It seemed more important to be good than be fast. The last thing I will say is this: They were just good people. It's hard to find anymore; a service business with integrity. These guys are the real deal!!

I found Kenny when I was looking for a mounting specialist in the Palm Springs area, and I honestly…read morecouldn't be happier with the work he did in my home. I had several projects that needed to be done, including two that made me particularly nervous. One involved mounting a TV and sound bar on a granite wall above my fireplace, and the other involved mounting a large, heavy, ornate mirror on a marble wall. Because of the materials and the value of what was being mounted, I didn't feel comfortable hiring just any handyman. I wanted someone who really knew what they were doing. Kenny is meticulous. He spent many hours here, and after each project I kept saying, "Oh my gosh, it's perfect." The TV and sound bar deserve special mention. You can see NO cords. We even came up with a plan to add a matching detail to the cord covers on the other side so they would look intentional and become part of the fireplace design rather than something you simply have to hide. The finished result is sleek, stylish, and chic. Kenny also connected all of the electronics, so there was absolutely nothing left for me to figure out afterward. That was a huge bonus. He even cleaned the TV! I already had that on my to-do list and I didn't need to do it! The TV installation itself was quite involved. The drilling took a considerable amount of time, and Kenny explained the different layers of material he had to work through to mount the TV correctly. This is exactly why you want someone who understands what is behind the wall rather than someone who simply knows how to hang a TV. And then there was the little problem of the TV angle. As we were determining the placement, we realized that the TV would be better if it could tilt downward slightly. My existing mount was fixed, so I said, "Ugh...I need a mount that tilts." Kenny said, "I have one!" I said, "You do?! What, do you just drive around with various TV mounts in your car?" He said, "Yeah, I do!" That pretty much sums up Kenny. He is prepared. I felt so relieved! Several of the other projects looked complicated and frankly were stressing me out. Not Kenny. He would look at the project, figure it out, and make everything seem easy. He was knowledgeable, careful, resourceful, and prepared for the unexpected. I also want to mention something that isn't usually included in a contractor review but mattered a lot to me. Kenny has a very clear, positive energy. When someone is going to be spending hours inside your home, that matters. I'm very sensitive to the energy of people in my personal space, and I had even prepared my assistant for that. I was ready to smudge the house with sage afterward if necessary. It wasn't necessary. By the time Kenny left, the house felt great. We were all laughing, talking about future projects, and already thinking about what we might have him do next. That combination is hard to find: professional, meticulous, knowledgeable, resourceful, prepared, and simply pleasant to have in your home. Every detail was attended to, and the finished work is beautiful. I highly recommend Kenny. If you have a complicated mounting project--or simply want someone who will treat the details as seriously as you do--hire Kenny. You will be very glad you did.
