Medical tests can be stressful, especially when you're not sure what to expect, and they made my mother feel comfortable and well cared for from start to finish. The facility itself was clean and comfortable, and parking was easy and convenient. Had the worst experience at the Sherman Oaks location this last Saturday. Was scheduled for an MRI at 3:00 pm. I got there at 3:00., but couldn't get in as the main entrance door was locked and I wasn't provided with a code number. Started calling them but no one picked up the phone. While still on the phone I go around the building in excruciating heat trying to find another entrance to no avail. I come back to the main entrance hoping to find someone to let me in. I finally find another tenant who was nice enough to enter her code and let me in. I walk into their office at 3:10. The receptionist named "Fatima" is on the phone. I wait until she is done then start I started telling her what I had to go through to get to their office. Instead of apologizing, she tells me that her co-worker texted me the code and called to confirm the appointment the day before. I tell her that never happened and show her my phone. She didn't seem to care. Then she goes on and tells me that they can't do my MRI because I was late for more than 5 min and another patient is already there. So what I got from this statement is that they book multiple patients for the same time slot and if you are late for more than 5 min you are out of luck. They literally refused to do my MRI because I got there at 3:10 instead of 3:00 due to their fault. Horrible people. Horrible service. Will never go back.

I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to see another doctor or else this experience would've been really negative for me and I wouldn't have had anything to compare it to. First of all the ultrasound tech definitely was new or training and did my scan almost entirely by herself. She walked in without introducing herself and immediately laid me completely flat on my back (I'm 31 weeks this isn't medically recommended nor comfortable as most of us pregnant ladies know) I had to repeatedly ask her to lift my head up a bit. Again I know this doesn't have to be done this way bc my last scan before this at my previous doctor I was sat very comfortably back but still with my heart over my feet. Then, she was rather rough on my stomach, repeatedly shaking my baby awake and using a really firm pressure, the entire time barely speaking to me. When she did speak she asked me if I had an ultrasound yet??? Again I'm 31 WEEKS, I honestly found that to be slightly insulting, or just an indicator that she hasn't really read my paperwork? After an hour of her going through and trying to get the measurements she needed, an older and what I'm assuming more experienced tech came in to get the ones she was having trouble getting. The tech was much more sociable and easy to talk which I appreciated, but seeing this made it obvious that the girl who had done my whole scan was very very new and inexperienced. I really didn't appreciate not being told she was still training, or having somebody more experienced in the room the whole time. Then to top it off, the tech made a comment about my son's PENIS size, and made sure to add that image into the physical prints I got. When I asked the tech about any 3D imaging of his face, she sort of brushed me off and mumbled and said "sometimes they do it" Again at my previous MFM they showed me his face with no issues right away and even commented on how cute he was. The worst and honestly most unprofessional part was after all this I was told to wait in the lobby, then the new tech came and told me I could leave unless I wanted the doctor to call me??? I never even MET the doctor!?!? Again very stark difference to my other MFM who I got to sit with and go over all my images before I left, just to give me peace of mind that everything looked good, and i don't know get our moneys worth for the appointment? I also got no instructions on how to view the images digitally, my last MFM also gave me instructions and I was able to view all my images and measurements that day in an app. Overall, I would say pursue imaging somewhere else for a more comfortable and thorough experience. I would wait for an appointment with another doctor just to see the 3D imaging as I think that's worth it! But also for the doctor to take the time to sit with each patient and ease our minds. - FTM and advocate for women's health!

I guess I was expecting DMV wait times. Less than 5 minutes after checking in for my appointment, I was called to the back for fingerprinting. That took roughly 8-10 minutes after checking. I had to take a picture also. All together no more than 15 minutes and I was back in my car leaving my appointment. I was so shocked how quick the process was. Rather than showing any understanding or attempting to accommodate me, Grace was rude, reprimanding, and completely insensitive to the circumstances. She told me she had asked the technician, who stated that she "will not take late appointments." I was simply sent home and rescheduled for a week later, despite my history of breast cancer. For a facility caring for women who may already be experiencing an incredibly stressful and frightening time, the lack of compassion was deeply disappointing. Zero compassion, zero assistance, and zero willingness to help. Completely unacceptable.
