I asked where the charging cords were located, and I was directed to aisle four but when I got there I noticed that one charging cord for a phone was $30-$40 which is way overpriced. I went to the front of the store where I saw that they had charges for around $10 but when I came in to scan my item it said $30. I was told that people come in, try to steal the items, and then put them down in the wrong place when they're unsuccessful. I then waited behind a couple of people in line, and there were four cash registers, but only one was open. The wait was very long, even though there were only two people ahead of me. The guy in charge of assisting with self-checkout apologized for the wait, which I appreciated. (I was told I needed to go to a register about the price question.) I ended up finding a charger for $17, and it works well. I'm also glad I made it to my train as well because I only had 20 minutes to get to the station after my purchase.

The administration area is a tiny screened off area next to the pharmacy register and guys were banging into in while delivering things on wheelie carts. I don't think this person was well trained. She didn't explain what she was doing and didn't pinch my arm to avoid pain. She barely said two words to me. It was my first time receiving this vaccine and nothing was said about side effects -- just "you're all set" when we were done. Imagine someone who is nervous about needles, or a kid? But of course, this is not her fault -- it's CVS's fault who should have a dedicated person to give vaccines who is well trained at times when they are being offered. How can she be expected to ring up customers and give out vaccines at the same time? I'm sure she rushed through it as a result. I could go on and on about the other employees as well. I forget her name sadly, but the beautiful woman who runs the beauty department is so on top of her section. Not only can she recommend anything from hair care to nail polish to makeup and skincare, but she can customize it to how you look. It's obvious she knows her stuff because she always looks flawless. If you ask her where a certain brand went, she knows the exact reasons and timeline. If you ask when something will be restocked, or anything about a new brand they've started carrying, she'll tell you with excitement. She'll help you find good shades for the undertones in your skin, and if you ask her about a product that she knows underperforms, she won't hesitate to recommend something else instead. They've recently hired some newer and younger employees, and they're so sweet and helpful. If they don't know the answer to the question, they confidently and kindly say they'll bring over someone who can answer and will be back shortly. And the pharmacy... Oh that pharmacy. They know how it is, especially for women, with insurance in America. They will spend time calling all over and talking with insurance to get you what you need. I've had my insurance say I can't get a renewal of my birth control for another two weeks, which is wrong, and the woman on the phone overrides it by talking to insurance for me and it's ready the next day. If you aren't sure which first aid item, or vitamin, eye drops etc you should buy, head over to the pharmacist window and she'll help you out immediately. It's truly an amazing store. Positives: Good location on Broad Street with more than ample parking. There are entrances at the front and rear of the store, which is very convenient depending on where you park in the lot. This is a decently sized location that is well laid out with wide, well labeled aisles. The store has a good selection of your typical drug store items and has some that others don't like my preferred mouthwash and leave-in hair conditioner. They also have a section that processes film and prints photos. They did a so-so job; I realize that I probably should have gone to a photo store but it is nice that they offer that service. Negatives: Prescription prices at their pharmacy are more expensive than their competitors. In addition, they had previously screwed up one of my prescriptions, wouldn't listen re: their mistake, and I then had to call my doctor so that he could speak to the pharmacy. And they have done this more than once. I now no longer go here for prescriptions and generally go back to Walgreen's. In sum, good for shopping but not for the pharmacy.

A week later I dropped off the script at CVS pharmacy on Broad Street in Bloomfield, NJ. I was told this is not a stocked item and they would order it. When I went back to pick up my medication, I was told that they only have a 30-day supply and that they would order the remaining portion. I told them I would prefer to pick up the entire 90-day prescription all at once. A week later they only had a quantity of 60 pills. At this point I was out of medication and needed to take what they had on hand (60 pills). They charged me $62 for the 60 pills and ordered the remaining 30 pills. Two weeks later I had my wife pick up the remaining 30 pills. Instead of charging the balance of $19 they charged $45. When I went back to question this, I was told the GoodRX coupon is only good for 30 days. I explained that they were the ones that didn't order the right quantity and they should honor the coupon for the remaining 30 pills. The pharmacist was adamant and wouldn't honor the original price and since my wife already paid for them, I'm stuck paying for their shortcomings. My family and I will use a different pharmacy from now on. BAmadio

This Walgreens is in an older shopping plaza but they do the best they can with the exterior of the store as it was clean and the trash cans were empty. Walking in the store it was very neat and there were employees helping customers. I took my return the phot area desk which is where there was a sign indicating I was in the right place. An employee by the name of Marisa came right over and helped me process the return. For some odd reason the company I was returning it to only provided a single shipping label when there were 2 boxes to return but Marisa said that was no problem and proceeded to help me tape the 2 boxes securely together and attach the label to the box duo. She was also able to text a receipt to me just in case there were any issues. Oh and while Marisa was helping me a line began to form at the register so she called an employee to come up and take care of the other customers who were waiting. Really great customer service and I highly recommend using their FedEx service.

I had surgery in my mouth and called for a status on my prescription fill, the guy on the phone said 20 minutes, I come an hour later and they tell my mom it's going to be another 30 minutes. Mind you I was on hold for 18 minutes before I could even get the pharmacist on the phone when I called. Ridiculous. & They close daily for lunch ? Must be understaffed and overworked. Shame on the management and ownership at this Walgreens. I've always used Walgreens because of their efficiency, I will be going to the one on Washington street in Belleville. I've been disappointed here too many times and not let a review. This was the last straw
