I showed up and the same woman behind the pharmacy counter ringing up customers is the one giving the shots. The administration area is a tiny screened off area next to the pharmacy register and guys were banging into in while delivering things on wheelie carts. I don't think this person was well trained. She didn't explain what she was doing and didn't pinch my arm to avoid pain. She barely said two words to me. It was my first time receiving this vaccine and nothing was said about side effects -- just "you're all set" when we were done. Imagine someone who is nervous about needles, or a kid? But of course, this is not her fault -- it's CVS's fault who should have a dedicated person to give vaccines who is well trained at times when they are being offered. How can she be expected to ring up customers and give out vaccines at the same time? I'm sure she rushed through it as a result. I wish doctor's offices administered this vaccine rather than having to deal with this shoddy experience.

I asked where the charging cords were located, and I was directed to aisle four but when I got there I noticed that one charging cord for a phone was $30-$40 which is way overpriced. I went to the front of the store where I saw that they had charges for around $10 but when I came in to scan my item it said $30. I was told that people come in, try to steal the items, and then put them down in the wrong place when they're unsuccessful. I then waited behind a couple of people in line, and there were four cash registers, but only one was open. The wait was very long, even though there were only two people ahead of me. The guy in charge of assisting with self-checkout apologized for the wait, which I appreciated. (I was told I needed to go to a register about the price question.) I ended up finding a charger for $17, and it works well. I'm also glad I made it to my train as well because I only had 20 minutes to get to the station after my purchase.

If you ask her where a certain brand went, she knows the exact reasons and timeline. If you ask when something will be restocked, or anything about a new brand they've started carrying, she'll tell you with excitement. She'll help you find good shades for the undertones in your skin, and if you ask her about a product that she knows underperforms, she won't hesitate to recommend something else instead. They've recently hired some newer and younger employees, and they're so sweet and helpful. They know how it is, especially for women, with insurance in America. They will spend time calling all over and talking with insurance to get you what you need. I've had my insurance say I can't get a renewal of my birth control for another two weeks, which is wrong, and the woman on the phone overrides it by talking to insurance for me and it's ready the next day. If you aren't sure which first aid item, or vitamin, eye drops etc you should buy, head over to the pharmacist window and she'll help you out immediately. It's truly an amazing store. As we waited for my girlfriend's father to pick us up in his car, we warmed ourselves up in this Walgreens. If I didn't know I had left Manhattan, I would have assumed this Walgreens was actually a fourth museum I was visiting in the heart of the big apple. The aisles were filled to the brim with fascinating exhibits and displays that left me awe inspired. 5/5 this is a museum quality Walgreens on par with the great museums of New York.
