On the other hand, they are always out of something and the employees are dismissive. My latest run-in with them: I ordered on a Friday night for pickup. I arrived at the pickup time and my order hadn't been started. The employee found it at the printer and began making it on the spot, only to then realize they were out of goat cheese, which for me is a main ingredient in the salad. I told them nevermind, which clearly annoyed him because he started putting the other ingredients in the bowl. I asked for a refund and was told it couldn't be processed in-store. He directed me to go through the app. After speaking to the manage and not getting anywhere, I left without a refund. I proceeded to go back and forth with Guest Relations for 10 days before my refund was issued. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

I really liked how the sweet potato added a little sweet bite to the savory flavors. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked. Service was okay. The bathrooms were both closed which was very strange. The place is bright and open. Good food to be found here when looking for a healthy alternative to fast casual dining.

Alexandra my waitress was pleasant and very attentive. Highly recommend for good sourced and intentional meals. Place is never loud and had time for a quick read. Will return.

The restaurant is located…read moreat Roosevelt Field Mall and is quite spacious, with plenty of parking outside, which is always a plus. I've heard about this place for quite some time, especially because of its health-conscious approach, including using no seed oils and not serving sodas. I was really happy to finally give it a try. We were seated at a large, comfortable booth near the front entrance, right by the parking lot. Our waitress was pleasant, and provided good service throughout our meal. We each initially ordered a refresher drink called Bright Eyes, but our waitress quickly came back to let us know they were out. So, we decided to share the Kale Aid instead. Unfortunately, the drink tasted just okay to us, and there was quite a bit of ice, so after a few sips each, it was pretty much gone. We probably wouldn't order the drinks next time. For our food, I ordered the Ancient Grains Bowl, with an addition of Norwegian sustainably-raised salmon, while hubby had the Grilled Chicken & Mozzarella Sourdough Panini with a side of small salad. Both dishes were tasty and fresh, although we both felt the portions were on the smaller side. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch and the experience. There are still a few dishes on the menu that I'd like to try, so we'll probably come back and give them a try next time.

Whether you're keeping it light or building your dream bowl, this place never disappoints. Healthy, quick, and so good--this is why it stays on our NYC go-to list.

Outside there is plenty of parking. I grabbed a space quickly as we looked on to this modern marvel of a building. Inside was even better. It's clean, neat and organized. All the things you need to make anyone feel comfortable while dining out. At the counter, it's commercial style assembly, but not really. The lady making our salad was so pleasant, first off. She walked us through the options and allowed us to modify them. I got exactly what I wanted. My friend, nuts and berries, I joked. I thought they were making them together, but no, that massive salad was mine and mine alone. I was completely shocked at what I saw. We took our food and stayed in to eat. My salad wasn't the way I make it at home, but I'm glad it was not. The dressing was amazing, the toppings, fantastic, and the amount perfect if you're hungry. You can share a bowl if you want. But this place is a must if you hang out with people who don't love meat. I mean, you kinda get the best of both worlds here. I say that because they offer chicken, really good chicken.

This time I decided to try a sweetgreen favorite, the harvest bowl. However, I was actually craving something small so opted for the kids version which is the "little Harvest" and it was amazing. The place was empty when I went in, for which I was grateful. I wanted time to decide the right fixings for my salad creation. The person working this particular day wasn't overly friendly and I almost felt rushed to decide what I wanted. Regardless, the salad was phenomenal and reasonably priced (approx. $15 for a create your own with grains, greens, tofu and other veggies). Plenty big too, just ask my husband who devoured half my lunch (insert eye roll here - I didn't want to share this time, but alas). I wish there was one a bit closer to my neck of the woods but I would absolutely return when in the area. This place appeared very clean which I always appreciate and there is seating available if you chose to dine in.
