Yesterday I called a few companies that fix chips. This morning Zach called me back, he was the only person to return my call out of 6 companies...... He came over within 10 minutes of our conversation, was incredibly pleasant as I talked his ear off while he was fixing the chip, even wore a mask which I was very impressed with as people seem to be relaxing with the masks ( I sincerely appreciated him being safe) and it only took 10 minutes. I'm assuming the price was reasonable as I have never gotten this done before and never priced it with another company. As well, he guarantees his work. I paid $700 dollars to get a window replaced, Adams county glass did the work and gave us a 3 year warranty. We got a year and half before the seal failed and now we can't even see out of the window because of condensation. I contacted the company to have the warranty honored but that is not what we got....instead we got excuses. First off James told me he had just bought the company and had no info on our window replacement So I sent him the invoice and then followed up with several calls. He kept telling me he is the new owner and the past work done by the company was not his problem....come to find out he owned the company when the work was done. Not only that he had worked for the company for 10 years prior to buying it from Jesus . He knew about all the problems the company was having, so what he did was buy Adams county glass inc. and changed the name the Adams county glass LLC. and this apparently has gotten him out of honoring any warranty issues the company had before which is BS. In fact he was the owner of the company when the work was done. Use him or not just realize his warranty isn't worth the paper it is printed on. We now have to buy an entire new window for 1,249 bucks. He told me he is worried about his reputation because we live in a small town and word gets around...He is complete lip service. He has promised me twice he will make things right but will never call me back once he gets me off the phone. I strongly advise to look for a reputable company before you are out of 700 bucks and are stuck with a guy who is only good at making excuses.

They quoted me a price that included windshield installation, recalibration, cleanup, labor and…read moretravel to my home (price was quoted BEFORE I told them I needed them come to me, so basically N/C for travel!), which was a fair price after seeing the other quotes, one of which was around the same price, but didn't include re-calibration. I've heard most times this recalibration is not needed, but if it turns out it IS needed, you'd have to take it somewhere else at a cost of $250-$700, or as much as $1,000 at a dealership! No thank you! Especially after the already expensive windshield! My tech was Kyle and, boy, was he sharp! When he arrived he told me it would take around an hour, I believe he finished the windshield installation, recalibration and cleanup in around 30 minutes - no small feat for my big Honda Odyssey on his own - and returned from the test drive in under 10 minutes. It was easy to pay with any type of credit card, even AmEx, and all told I think it was about 40 minutes. The owner, Steve, was a pleasure to talk to, as was Kyle, A couple of easygoing guys. I definitely made the right choice! And, if ever I have the need again, I will probably only be putting out a call for one quote ... from MasterTech.

I went out of my way to have them fix a small chip in my RV windshield even after my insurance…read morerecommended another company. I was not warned of any potential for breakage prior to the attempted repair. The individual who attempted the repair called after the fact and advised me that the windshield cracked while he was attempting the repair. He told me that he was going to check into getting a new windshield. Two days later they called and advised me that a new windshield would be almost $1600. Glass Doctor (also known as Glass One) assumed no responsibility for making the situation worse. If they would have warned my about the "high stress area" and potential for breakage prior to the repair I wouldn't have let them work on it in the first place. I only wanted to minimize the risk of cracking, hence the initial repair request. I consider myself a reasonable person and attempted to negotiate a more palatable solution but they only were willing to take off $60 because that was the cost of the original chip repair! My situation may not be the norm, but based on my experience I believe Glass Doctor does not use good business practices and customers should be very cautious. I will update if the situation changes, but for now there is no way that I can recommend using this company.

In Wentzville, MO, I noticed a chip and small crack starting on my windshield. I gave Chipfix a call and they responded immediately. We set up a meeting point not far from where I was and he even got there early. Totally excellent value for the price. It saved me many hundreds of bucks versus replacing the windshield.
