They quoted me a price that included windshield installation, recalibration, cleanup, labor and travel to my home (price was quoted BEFORE I told them I needed them come to me, so basically N/C for travel!), which was a fair price after seeing the other quotes, one of which was around the same price, but didn't include re-calibration. I've heard most times this recalibration is not needed, but if it turns out it IS needed, you'd have to take it somewhere else at a cost of $250-$700, or as much as $1,000 at a dealership! No thank you! Especially after the already expensive windshield! My tech was Kyle and, boy, was he sharp! When he arrived he told me it would take around an hour, I believe he finished the windshield installation, recalibration and cleanup in around 30 minutes - no small feat for my big Honda Odyssey on his own - and returned from the test drive in under 10 minutes. It was easy to pay with any type of credit card, even AmEx, and all told I think it was about 40 minutes. The owner, Steve, was a pleasure to talk to, as was Kyle, A couple of easygoing guys. I definitely made the right choice! And, if ever I have the need again, I will probably only be putting out a call for one quote ... from MasterTech. read more

I made an inquiry through Yelp .., and had many great companies reach out to me. All of their prices were fair but I chose MasterTech because through quick emails I felt like we were old friends catching up again. Steve was my tech, through emails he made me feel like I could trust him to do a thorough and great job replacing the windshield in my SUV. I made an appointment, they gave me a choice of either coming to my location or me taking my vehicle to their location - I chose the 1st option and set up a round about time frame (morning or afternoon -12-4) I chose the latter. Steve the technician was very communicative through messages the days before and also on the day of. Questions were answered very quickly.. this place will go through your insurance just like the BIG Advertised Company with the catchy commercial jingle: '&$&$ lite Repair, $&$&lite Replace', but if your deductible is more than what the entire cost of the repair/replacement will be it is wiser to just pay out of pocket. This is the route I chose and Steve said I could either pay at that moment over the phone or pay when he got on site & finished the job. I chose to pay on site, just in case there were any unforeseen charges (aka SUV issues). It took Steve about 40 mins to replace my entire windshield and he also included reattaching my the windshield wipers which that Big Advertised Company with that Oh So Catchy Jingle charged extra to do. He texted me after he had completed the job, gave me some very basic and easy to follow instructions, took my credit card info, called his shop while standing next to me, gave me the work order receipt and the shop emailed me a receipt. This entire situation was very easy, went extremely smooth, was quite pleasant because Steve had a great personality and a wonderful presence, which made me feel at ease and safe in a world where crazy is usually around the corner. The total for my service this day for a full replacement windshield on a SUV on sight (at my home) was $320.00 plus tax for a total of $340.93. Money well spent for an excellent view of the road ahead of me. read more
